I love that edge booster. I also like the Eco style gel with cannabis sativa oil, black castor oil, and olive oil. Have you tried that? I’m the one who can’t use products with Shea butter and coconut oil so I have to really search for products I can use! The edge booster is a keeper for me!

It your really looking for a gel that doesn’t flake, I don’t know how you feel about eco style, but I use Eco Style Olive Oil and I actually mix Olive Oil in the gel. I mix it little by little and you know when it’s enough onece it turns into a pudding type consistency. I have true 4c hair and have been using my gel that way for years now, it doesn’t flake or make your hair hard. My children even use it(4 and 13) they both have 4b/4c texture hair. I still use edge control though just to slay my edges, but you should try that for flaking.
I’ve been using eco style gel for years and mixing oil in. It still flakes on my hair. Everyone’s hair is different. I’m happy that it works for you!!

I've been side eyeing this product but seeing that nothing hold my unruly 4c/4b hair I need prayer and God to hold my hand lol
I used this once and my entire head was FULL of flaking. What makes it vary like that
To not get as much flake ups earlier on , you have to make sure that your hair is very Moisturized

it don't flake in my hair, I don't use any leav-in when using it, because then it won't give me the hold I'm looking for.
