This is so incredibly good. Some people can't get past the wig and the green paint. Some people never notice Scott's work because Mitch is so spectacular. Some don't notice Scott taking the high notes while Mitch sings a lower harmony. I'm glad you gave Scott the admiration he deserves! But Mitch...he could use this as an audition tape for anything, with no apologies. And it's just two friends goofing around.
Mitch is awesome he should be on Broadway, they did this because Wicked is Scott's favourite musical so Mitch did this with him for his birthday it was one of Mitch's gifts for Scott

Guy.EXE is extremey creative and adds a bit of humor and I would highly recommend it. And yes, happy Father's Day. I love Mitch's control switching back and forth from chest voice, to head voice, to mix then falsetto! He was really learning just what his voice could do, and now he flits effortlessly all over his range! I do like the way he inflects and emotes as well! This was years ago.. and is so important in the journey of Scott and Mitch realizing what they could do as a duo and it is quite the journey! I don't know if you noticed in Scotts comments below the picture on their Channel, but it was Scott's birthday and this is what he had asked Mitch for as a gift. He was obsessed with Wicked and with Mitch's voice. Thank you so much for reacting to this! I love it so so much!
Oh my. These two were so well trained in their formative years, lol. Technically there crazy. The secret to there blend has to be that, they grow and diminish their volume together and at the same time. Not many musicians are trained to use vibrato at all and only use it when playing or singing a lead line. Everyone else straight tones. If the vibratos have a different pulse it will kill the harmonics you get from singing in tune. If they know that and match pulse, it creates much more power, and improves blend in the piece. When you add Kirsten (the straight tone queen) magic. It gives them that simple clean sound we come to expect. One day ill learn to stop using run on sentences. Can you add to this Jerod? What are the differences between horn players and singers?

All the videos are good for their future friends album but the acting in that one is top notch.
This was a very early Superfruit episode. It was the first showing of “the wig.” So glad you finally got to see this. Suggestion- The Spaulding Sessions. Ptx right after the Sing Off. It’s a bunch of singers getting together at somebody’s house. PTX, Mario Jose, Luke Edgemon (was on the voice and has some amazing duets with Scott, Tori, & others) my favorite is Scott singing “Down”
