Not surprising my Blues faded in the last quarter was our 3rd game in 13 days. Most teams this season playing their 3rd game in such a short timeframe have struggled to perform & have mostly lost so I’ll just take the W against a serious contender with still improvement to come.

A game is played OVER a course of 4 quarters, not one. I still don’t rate Carlton at all. All the talk in the media about Carlton playing a different style after the first quarter to preserve the lead is utter BULL$HIT! Not Melbourne’s fault Carlton coughed up that 6 goal to nil buffer. Melbourne were clearly the better side after the first quarter and the mere fact Weitering was completely blanketed after the first half when the game was still alive by Fritsch tells us all we need to know about just how good Melbourne still is and Carlton are once again getting overhyped. Melbourne’s coaching team made the positional changes and almost netted them the win. Van Rooyen playing higher and Trac going deep forward really tested out the opposition defense which almost got Melbourne the win. Umpires were $hit, but in the same token, Chandler, Fritsch and Pickett misses were costly in creating scoreboard pressure. Credit to Carlton, but let’s see how they fare next week against a red hot Sydney.
Dees were ABSOLUTELY robbed. Roo's tackles was not dangerous, steven may touched curnows goal and the umps only chose to award melbourne some frees in the last quarter. Love your content Cados keep it up and GO DEES
Cados it was an appalling first qtr, how do you turn up to the G in front of a big crowd in a big game and not be competitive what kind of mindset does that take. Blues were first to the ball wanted it more, despite there end of game collapse they deserved the win.😈👎
Definelty wasn’t a dangerous tackle but giving a team a 36-0 head start is unacceptable but got to love the fight back from the dees
