About the pasqualita: recently México City took pasqualita for ak exposition, when they gave it back we noticed that it wasn't the same one, and they haven't given us pasqualita yet.
I just came from La Paz and it was the cleanest city I have ever seen. Not a scrap of litter even in the less desirable areas. No homeless. No crime to speak of. Just incredible. ❤
Sorry, laughed a bit too much at the bit where you were interrupted! Hahaha! Great video, loved the honesty and glad to see you looking happier eating your burger in that abandoned building with the flies at the end! It's true, sometimes the best things are those you discover yourself by just wandering around and doing what you want to do.
This was such a cool video man!, you show both sides of the city, people often think northern Mexico is just dust and cactus, they don’t know we have some of the biggest and most advanced cities in the country. Hope you enjoyed your stay. Did you pass through Periférico de la juventud? That’s where the most money in Chihuahua is invested. Greetings from Chihuahua, Chihuahua. If you ever come back, you’re welcome to come over to my place.
Gracias Jorge! I don't think I went to that area. Unfortunately my time was quite limited as I had to get to Torreon. I guess that means I'll have to return!!
I love your videos. At 69 years young, I have just relocated to Querétaro with a dog and two cats. My dad was British-I just love to listen to you. Can’t wait to explore-every new day is an adventure. All the best to you.
Amazing Kathleen! Did the move go smoothly? I'm glad you have some pets, I cannot WAIT to get a cat when I get back to Europe! I hope that when I get to your age I have the same zest to explore!
Hello David. I have been your fan and follower for years!!. And the reason is that you are HONEST and sincere, and that comes across in your videos. I will miss you greatly when you go back to your normal life. You are right, people here in Mexico ignore the places or things you have shown in your videos. They say, TE FALTO'. As I have told you before, I love England and is so much fun to explore the streets. Different districts of London. I love Blenheim, the castle where my HEROE WINSTON CURCHILL was born. God bless you in your endeavours. You have achieved so much in your young life. Be VERY PROUD OF IT. I will never forget you. I truly love every video you have done. You are a great communicator. You certainly have a way with words.
Thanks Elvia! Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere!! There will still be videos as normal. I'm going to be doing travel videos in whatever country I end up in and will also be doing filming trips, for example to Moscow, to bulk film over a week. Travel will still be a thing! And you never know, my Polish citizenship may not be approved so I may end up back in Mexico!
Hello again David. Europe is SOOO gorgeous. Another amazing place is the road or high way along the Rhine river with all those beautiful villages I would think that date from the medieval times. I was fascinated with the different designs of the castles and churches..the vie is SPECTACULAR.

No one knows what happened to poor Pascualita! As a Chihuahua born and raised dude living in Mexico City I can tell you it is heartbreaking not to see her in the shop window every time I have the chance to pass by.
Hi David I love your spontaneous context perception; just take in consideration the positive comments can enrich your journey, the rest is in your hands. Big hug!
Without anybody recommending it you found one of the hidden gems in Chihuahua, those "Hamburguesas al Carbon" (El Papillon) have been there for over 20 years (I'm thinking it's probably going on 50+ years now; not sure) and have stood the test of time. This was a great video and regarding the "falto" thing, you're 100% right, it's a recommendation and our language lacks the negative connotation that "missing out" on something implies, but you do you my guy, people will all have their favorite places, foods and experiences but we also have a saying in our culture "para gustos colores", You can think of it as a twist on "to each his own".
I love your honesty. And I enjoy so much how you show the places as they actually are. I’m from Mexico City, married to an English man and living in Calgary. Thanks to your videos I don’t miss my country so much.
Soy de Chihuahua y estoy encantado de que vengas y conozcas y pues claro que te faltó mucho pero no es queja más bien es una invitación a que regreses y conozcas muchos lugares más, tu eres bienvenido.

You choose the right place to be honest. You know, in southern Mexico people from Chihuahua tend to have the reputation for being very straightforward. And that reputation is mostly based on reality. When i go to southern Mexico people get offended if I say that I don't like something that they value. Sorry, but not sorry. We all value different things and it's ok to not like something the locals love.
I have always disliked my city. I'm from Chihuahua. And it's very interesting how someone used to a whole different part of the world views it. I would never had said that is clean tbh lol. And thank you for your honesty! It's very refreshing
Thanks Alexia! I guess it's the same when I see people go to London and compliment it lol. I guess as locals we will always be far more aware of the negatives and the not so pretty areas!
Con el respeto que merecen todas las ciudades de mi amado México yo como Chihuahuense siempre he visto ese distintivo de mi ciudad, su limpieza y organización.
What's up David! I was born in Cuauhtemoc and currently live in Chihuahua, and I can relate to the recommendations ending as a catastrophic experience. If you ever find yourself coming back and have an idea of what to visit I'd love to tag along! Nice to see someone being honest about his experience and I will definitely subscribe. Keep it up!
Thanks! Yes although recommendations can be so useful and over the years I know Mexicans particularly offer them in good faith because they want foreigners to experience everything, but it's not always possible!
Thanks for show the people a little piece of this beautiful city with beautiful people also. There's many beautiful places you can go to take a deep breath! Saludos✋ New in the channel so you got my subscription 👉
Brilliant!! Let loose mate! Your videos are refreshing and your commentary; intelligent, Fing humourous, and quick. Look forward to every one. We have a place in Zihua & Troncones and locals are the best. Stay safe. Btw...that bunker was incredible, can I recommend it?!😏
This is the second video of yours I watch(1st was the previous)and Im Just here because I like the real ness of your attitude. Saludos desde El Paso Tx
Awesome video, David, and loved you being 'REAL" and being yourself. Yeah, let loose, brilliant, bby! Yep, who gives a shit? People feel self-importance in giving those crazy recommendations.... do your own thing, bby. I live in El Paso, and it seems to me that Chihuahua City is under-rated and discounted, yet I understand it is a very advanced big-business and technology city with a good quality of life and high education level for Mexico. Chihuahua looks very appealing to me. I love the murals which do remind one of Montreal. Those "water misters" can be found in Phoenix and Palm Springs, and they feel so refreshing in the hot dry climate. Quinta Gameros looks fabulous. That 35km walk was crazy, David. The orange Prius people are like cotton-candy and so fake. I loved the hambuguesa, looks so delicioso. Great video, bby!
Hey Markas! Water misters! I'm glad I know the name now! Thanks! I guess Phoenix must be HORRENDOUS!!! Montreal! LOVE IT!! The street art there is amazing, right? Particularly down St Laurent. I'd love to go back there again.
@@davidostrowski679 Phoenix and Palm Springs can be 117 degrees F/47 degrees C, yes, horrendous. And those water misters really do the job in the hot dry climate! Montreal has that lovely mural of the face of the singer Leonard Cohen wearing his signature hat, but I can't remember exactly where it is, but all the Montreal murals are stunning, yes. Lovely Chihuahua video!
Oh my god I saw this recommendation and I got excited because I live there! I hope you didn't got disturbed by old people while walking and the damn music in every clothing shop haha... honestly your film was great and thanks for making this. ♥️
I saw my moms office when you were getting the burger lol I also ate there a couple of weeks ago for the first time just because it smelled good and I was starving.. about recommendations, it finally clicked to me why I feel unease when someone tells me I missed something on a trip, it is simply rude, like the trip wasn’t worth anything. Great video, and what a realistic day in downtown Chihuahua.
I prefer your critic style than many phony youtubers out there. honesty it's so rare now and I appreciate that, keep up the good work and follow your gut.
Wow! Where to begin??? First, I RECOMMEND (in the most friendly and non-pressured way possible) that you pack some Tajin (or Chile y Limon spice) with you when you head to Europe so you can make your own elotes wherever you are (that is how we eat corn now that it is in season ... scrape it off the cob, add garlic mayo and lime and sprinkle on the tajin - butter and salt just don't work any more). Second, I loved your story about your childhood burgers ... I think what you are describing is "comfort food" (I am sure the Starbucks performs that function for you as well). Moving on, I get what you are saying about "falta/ missed" - but don't take a recommendation as an imperative. Often people make those suggestions for the benefit of folks who view your videos and read the comments long after you have moved on to another town. I am sure that most people will not be offended if you ignore their recommendations (although I am still celebrating the shout out you gave me for recommending Parque Benito Juarez in San Miguel). On another note, you are the last CZcams creator that I would call fake. If what we have seen so far was fake ... we better brace ourselves for the real T of D!!! And finally, your efforts and videos are greatly appreciated. Please take care of yourself.
I’m from Chihuahua. Sad that sometimes Mexicans don’t know our own history. Don’t appreciate our cites because we don’t think they’re that beautiful. Now there’s a foreigners that are in love, astonished with our culture, history and food. Telling us about our own history and what our cities are really worth.
Great point George. I would say the same about the UK, including my own knowledge. I guess it's natural to be fascinated by something we didn't grow up with. Maybe that's what travel is about. I'm sure if I was Mexican I would probably not see Mexican food and history in the same way. Thanks for watching!
Hope you enjoyed our city, wish nothing but the best for you Man! If you are actually in the city you should taste Montados del escuadron. Omg, the greatest food evah.

Dude...I love your honesty in this vid. You do your thing bro!
I'll have to eat a burger in some brutalist hellhole in Belgrade!
Orgullosa de haber nacido y crecido en chihuahua. Y como dice el corrido... Que bonito es chihuahua!!!! 🎉😍
Los videos de viaje mas honestos, conoces las ciudades como realmente son y eso es agradable, felicidades.
Jajaja es demaciado sencillo y agradable jajaja me encanta su forma de ser , hermosa mi capital algún día volveré
I hope that when I get to your age I have the same zest to explore!
yo soy de ahi, ahhhhh que emocion !!!
Jajajaja y más emocionante cuando has vivido el encierro de la pandemia 🤭
Fui al centro sin salir 😬

I'm from chihuahua, I hope you had a great moment in my beautiful state
Gracias Luis, yes I would love to come back and do a proper trip!
I AM PROUDLY FROM THAT CITY, MY HOME TOWN CHIHUAHUA CITY. EXCELLENT VIDEO. GREETINGS FROM MISSOURI...
Gracias Osbaldo! That's a name I've never heard before!
@@davidostrowski679 . THX, BRO. IN ENGLISH IS OSWALD (DO YA REMEMBER AT LEE HARVEY OSWALD...?, LOL). IT'S A GERMANIC NAME THAT MEANS: "THE MAN THAT RULES UNDER THE GOD'S MIGHT". IT'S JUST LIKE GENERAL CULTURE. GREETINGS FROM MISSOURI AGAIN...
That darn Pascualita wasn’t there when I went to Chihuahua 2 yrs ago! What have they done to her! 🤔 Like I’ve been saying since last year to everyone…Do you boo!🤣👍🏼 totally enjoy the videos, but I know it’s hard work, enjoy your days in Mexico!
Get that corpse a cafecito jaja
No one knows what happened to poor Pascualita! As a Chihuahua born and raised dude living in Mexico City I can tell you it is heartbreaking not to see her in the shop window every time I have the chance to pass by.
This is why I do watch some travel channels. The traveler actually having his or hear own experience while in a certain place.
Hi David I love your spontaneous context perception; just take in consideration the positive comments can enrich your journey, the rest is in your hands. Big hug!
David my friend , this is your journey so you enjoy!! And have a wonderful time 📸
And please don't forget to be hydrated ....
Beautiful Chihuahua!
I came here on the recommendation of CZcams seeing that it is from my city, but I really liked the video different from those of other people and very sincere, thanks for coming✨
super video lastima de que estuviera cerrada la Quinta Gameros es un lindo lugar saludos soy de Chihuahua! me encanto que cerraras el video en ese lugar olvidado!
¡Gracias! ¡Chihuahua es una ciudad preciosa! ¡Gran arquitectura! ¡Ese era mi aspecto favorito!

😂🤣😂
CLASSIC! I used it once in a Japan video in a place which was literally a ghost town!
Like what parts of southern Mexico to be exact?
I have always disliked my city. I'm from Chihuahua. And it's very interesting how someone used to a whole different part of the world views it. I would never had said that is clean tbh lol. And thank you for your honesty! It's very refreshing
Thanks Alexia! I guess it's the same when I see people go to London and compliment it lol. I guess as locals we will always be far more aware of the negatives and the not so pretty areas!
That BURGER 🍔 reminds me of the Burgers we ate growing up in (dodgy) Los Angeles, California. 🇺🇲🇲🇽😎👍
Que onda Yo era monaguillo de la refor. Ahí por la 12 y Quintana Roo

Thanks for show the people a little piece of this beautiful city with beautiful people also. There's many beautiful places you can go to take a deep breath! Saludos✋ New in the channel so you got my subscription 👉
I think this was your best vlog. Take care of yourself David and I wish you the very best. Thank you for all you have done XO
Brilliant!! Let loose mate!
Your videos are refreshing and your commentary; intelligent, Fing humourous, and quick. Look forward to every one. We have a place in Zihua & Troncones and locals are the best. Stay safe. Btw...that bunker was incredible, can I recommend it?!😏
Thanks Peter! Letting loose was liberating! Burnout burger in a burnt out building!
It is a beautiful city, greetings from Morelia, "Ciudad de la Cantera Rosa".
This is the second video of yours I watch(1st was the previous)and Im Just here because I like the real ness of your attitude. Saludos desde El Paso Tx
Thanks Rudy!
Doce México; vibrante México; lindo México! Saudações do Brasil ao belo país irmão!
Chihuahua povoou minha infância no Brasil; pois toda sessão de circo iniciava com a música:"Jesusita in Chiuahua"
Oh my god I saw this recommendation and I got excited because I live there! I hope you didn't got disturbed by old people while walking and the damn music in every clothing shop haha... honestly your film was great and thanks for making this. ♥️
Jaja the music!!! That's why I had to keep away from those shops because of copyright! Lll
I am from Chihuahua, thanks for all the nice things you say about the City, love you are super honest, you rock is nice to see this kind of videos
Thanks Cesar!
Glad to see u doing good in Mexico. Keep up the good work.
Everything you said was spot on, especially about the "expat relocation channels." 😵💫
Apache+español=CHIHUAHUA POPULATION 🇲🇽💯😍
I saw my moms office when you were getting the burger lol I also ate there a couple of weeks ago for the first time just because it smelled good and I was starving.. about recommendations, it finally clicked to me why I feel unease when someone tells me I missed something on a trip, it is simply rude, like the trip wasn’t worth anything. Great video, and what a realistic day in downtown Chihuahua.
Exactly! I was exactly the same, the smell and I was starving!
I'd like to recommend this list of burnt out buildings that are perfect for dining in while you're in Torreon...
Now that I would be happy with!! Lol
Saludos
There are times when seeing that kind of honesty from a youtuber is refreshing, anyway I hope you liked my city and good luck on your trip.
I prefer your critic style than many phony youtubers out there. honesty it's so rare now and I appreciate that, keep up the good work and follow your gut.
I had to stop the video just in the minute the man interrupted and you scared the hell out 🤣🤣🤣... Sorry but you scared me too 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What a video!! And that ruined building you found to eat your burger inside: absolute paradise!!! 👌
Wait until Gomez! I got chucked out of an abandoned building! HOWLING
Hope you enjoyed our city, wish nothing but the best for you Man!
If you are actually in the city you should taste Montados del escuadron. Omg, the greatest food evah.

This video was hilarious. Love it. Like the honesty of the experience and your feelings, much better than the other ones.

Interesting tour!! I'm a Chihuahuense, live in my State, 💕 love my State!! Is huge and is beautiful from one end to the other!! Try eating in Distrito Uno next time you're in the capital! You'll find the best dinning! I love papillon burgers, they've been there for generations! There are good pizzas, you just have to know where to go! I love everything about this Grand State!!

It makes me happy to see a video of the city where I was born, since it seems to me that although it is the capital of the largest state in the country... It is one of the most forgotten cities in Mexico

I'm from Chihuahua and I couldn't explain the way this video made me feel, as I've been far from home for a long time too, traveling as well maybe not as much as you are, I had the fortune of living for few months in your country too, lovely people and I wish I could the same about your food lol, anyways thank you for making Mexico as great as it actually is.

I am from Chihuahua. I don't know why but CZcams recommended me your video. I really don't know what sort of shitty things you went through but I hope you enjoyed Chihuahua at the end. It is a beautiful city in the small details and the ordinary places like that building where you ate your hamburger in.
This is the first travel vlog I've watched that feels natural. And also... love your accent!
Yes you finally got there .. the “this is me moment” I love your humour and frankness about your struggles and did feel some of your videos although brilliantly shot , were not genuinely reflecting how you felt about the place or time you were having. You are a very talented videographer and have a great eye for cool pictures..l look forward to more of the real stuff .. good luck pet🙂
