Yeah this match was really good! I can’t figure out either what happened at that 4 card ancestral. I’ve written and asked Jens-ole if he remembers something when rewatching it or if it’s a mistake.
He looked it over and He said it’s a mistake and he is really sorry about it. I really don’t think it’s deliberate at all. I have known the player for several years and he has played in many tournaments. And I don’t think it would make any sense to deliberately cheat at these events - and even if anyone had no morals and was so inclined - doing it while being filmed and with over a thousand people watching your every move would be even more weird. But it’s very unfortunate. It’s a pivotal misplay as it lets him get into loa range a turn earlier. Just goes to show that players has to be constantly mindful for any misplays - there’s a lot more of that going on than I realized before I started recording and rewatching MTG matches. thanks for pointing this out!

Hey! I am kinda new to the concept of the old school format, been looking your channel and it seems awesome! I have one question that i hope you can help me with it: Where you can buy cards on Denmark? it just happens that i have relatives living in Aarhus (i am from South America) so i wanna see if they can receive some cards there to later bring them to me whenever they are gonna travel back to our country. Does magiccardmarket work well on Denmark? i don't really know any good places to buy... im not looking for anything too fancy/high end, since i have most of that stuff already, i just wanna get some FBB cards or some specific things on other languages that are more common on Europe. Hey buddy I’m glad you enjoy the channel. Sorry I missed your question until now. MCM or magic card market sends with no problems to Denmark. For more local shops there’s the “card collective” online shop situated in Aalborg (northern Jutland) that’s pretty close to Aarhus and there’s tier1mtg in Copenhagen. Both shops are online and have a lot of old school but with changing inventory obviously. Then there are other smaller private sellers but those two are the biggest danish mtg shops I know of. :)
I had a gw deck with Petra sphinx once upon a time. An angel tribal deck but with only old school cards. I’ve never seen another version than that- so can’t say I’ve ever played against it.
@@arrighi11 I piloted one variant back in the day. But the closest thing to it I’ve seen at the tournament scene is UG with sylvan + and then sinbad instead of the sphinx because he is much cheaper to cast I guess.
Hi Milagros it’s that little robot in the new Star Wars movies that’s called bb-8. And then it’s because the deck has 8 Bots and 8 Burn spells hence BB-8 :)
yo in game 3 dude on the left clearly draws 4 cards with ancestral recall after the braingeyser red blast/ blue blast sequence start watching at 16:59. this isnt an upkeep ancestral choose and take draw phase together. his draw phase was the mox sapphire he used to cast ancestral recall for 4 cards putting him back into library range with his next draw step.
