Your breakdown when you only counted 9 members instead of 10 haha. There was actually 10 members of NCT 127 at one point, but one member, Winwin, now mainly promotes with the Chinese subunit of NCT called WayV instead of 127.
NCT 127 actually debuted with 7 members, and then added 2 more in their next comeback after their debut, and eventually added 1 more member in a later comeback. So it's cool how you noticed that there was supposed to be 10 members just based on the numbers 1+2+7.

Yes, you're right. Well actually NCt 127 consist of 10 members (1+2+7), they are Taeyong (Leader), Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Mark, Haechan. But started from 2019, Winwin was non-active member with 127. He moved to another unit which is WayV (the sub-unit of NCT based on China).
Fyi, 127 is the longitude of Seoul. So they represent Seoul as their base of Kpop.

NCT (Neo Culture Technology) is currently a 23 member group. This group is divided into 3 fixed units, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and WAYV (The Chinese unit). NCT U is not a fixed unit because there is no fixed quantity. They use however many artists they want from the 23 and interchange them at any time depending on the song they sing. NCT 127 is pronounced NCT 1-2-7. The 127 represents the longitude of where the group is from, Seoul, not the body count. NCT are EXO's baby brothers. You will get your fill of rap and vocals. In addition all of their dance practice videos are a must see because they are a dance crew. They give that energy. The units change numbers over time. Each of the 3 units have a leader for that group but the leader of all 23 members is Lee Taeyong. The Debut for all of NCT is NCT U - The 7th Sense. Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Ten, were the first 5 to come out the gate and represent what NCT was about. Enjoy your journey, it's some great music.
So glad you finally got to NCT!!! They're super experimental in their sound and they're more than talented enough to really pull it off. Some of their music gets labeled as "noisy" but I think they've really owned that and created their own style. They also have a lot of r&b influences in their b-sides ^^

So glad you guys reacted to NCT 127! No, it's true there are 23 members. NCT U is their rotational unit where the members that "fit" that concept will work on that song. NCT Dream began with younger members with a graduation concept when they becameof age (only Mark actually graduated and he did return once it was decided the Dreamies would stay together (YEA!). Mark is such a hard worker. He is in NCT 127, Dream, and SuperM and many of the NCT U songs because he is so versatile. There are sooooo many great NCT songs as well as WayV songs (the Chinese based unit) that you are going to love!
If you want to see all of them in a song. (Everyone who was in NCT 2021, two members are missing in this song) You should watch Beautiful. It's a totally different vibe from Kick it and just amazing

I know everyone has their own view/opinion about the MV and almost everyone has that reaction; the only regret I have is not knowing them since debut but the four years i’ve been a NCTzen watching so many their music videos, vlives, Neo Zone track videos with the teasers alone kill me. I also noticed the yellow & black theme in the MV which many have said it reminds them of Kill Bill but the colors have other meanings but it can also represent tribute to Bruce Lee; he used to wear yellow with black strips jumpsuit in his movies & they’re paying homage to him plus if it was about Kill Bill then there would be references within the song. I knew at some point they would reveal they are ninjas; giving off Karate Kid & Regular vibes the more I watch the it. I believe it’s somewhat of a tribute to Bruce Lee since they literally call out his name within the lyrics. I waited so long for this and now it’s here i’m speechless 😶 They didn’t come to play, Ive been trying hard to put their storyline together it’s been extremely hard and I have upsettingly forgotten allot of their story (If there is one). I love how they incorporate Bruce Lee even though he’s chinese who is universal legendary martial arts/kung fu master and actor, I know there’s been many kpop/cpop artists who’ve mentioned or used Bruce Lee name within their songs or title and i’m sure his family would be very happy to hear that he’s not being forgotten. I am so also happy to see our precious boy jungwoo finally back from being absent for awhile because of health issues (his voice/throat). I really love how the song sounds and they look so good. Stray kids and NCT127 does have a bit similar music style..its what some people like to call construction music or noise music. However NCT127 has unique music style. Their style is experimental and unique, something only they can pull off, you would understand it later if you keep listening to their discography. Every time they bring something different and new on the table. Even other units are great and have different style.
