Josh and Jac a wonderful team on GREAT is THY FAITHFULNESS. Truly a blessing! Thank you - you two :)

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

A great start indeed, Christ must be at the heart, center, and crux of all we are, who we are, what we are to become, whatever it will be that we do, may everything from there on bring honor, and glory to the Lord Jesus, and Father God. Amen.

I leave you w what I told my 2 daughters not to be in a rush >>> that when you want something in the Worst or a Bad way, that is exactly how you usually will wind up getting it. It is not what you set out for, never settle for being ripped off. God wants you to have the very best, and not to be hurt. Trust Him. He loves and cares for you.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

Good illustration with the box, too often we try to put Jesus or God in the box, walk away and do our own thing. It is then you learn what Solomon did and Pastor Darryl teaches, "boy I won't be doing that again"

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

That is so right on, and a word we wished to hear when we were all in youth group back in the day. Because if you are willing to LOSE YOURSELF to WIN a GIRL, WOMAN or LADY, I have bad news, you will in all likely probability lose and lose big time. If you think, your mate is your other half or will complete you, you are wrong, they won't. Their insecurities will not make up for yours. In fact, the fraction will magnify and increase the problems after the romance and honeymoon time is up, and you really get to see how each other is, as Costi so well described. If you are not SECURE in the LORD, nothing else you do, or will be - can ever be SECURE and SURE until you become so. It is like Monopoly, do not pass go. Go directly to the time-out, reflect and start over. Christ is the only one who can keep you both. Your children will also drive you to your knees in prayer, but without Christ, there is no sense of going forward, it's like driving along without a destination or map. Aimless. He must always be at the center, individually and collectively. He takes the fish out of self and with less you become as He is a perfect gentleman, and selfless. Not selfish. You can't save or tame flesh, but with Christ, you can conquer it, and I would venture to say, that is the #1 battle for any young man, at any generation in time.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

So well said the sermon of "there" ~ if Jesus doesn't satisfy you you will never be satisfied. There is no other substitute.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

Well now we know, the cat is out of the bag. Age 16, this explains why Costi is not playing in the NBA now. Of course, we (and the NBA probably) are thankful, because he has become as the Lord leads him, an awesome ambassador and minister of Jesus, and for that, we are all blessed.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

Way back in Bible school (and maybe later in Sunday school) they used the acronym - J-O-Y which was J= Jesus 1st >>> O = others 2nd & >>> Y = you last.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

WAIT on the LORD, and you will be well served. Remember that. Write it down. You guys are so blessed to have Costi as your Pastor, he is the real deal, genuine, you can learn a lot from him. We all make mistakes, but you do not want to live in the anguish and embarrassment of the things you did, you want to be able to honor the Father as much as possible, and thank Jesus for all that He did for you.

    Loved this and needed it!

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

Lol, in our time, most were modest and not forward, timid even. For if we had a "hit me up phrase" our parents would have brought a new meaning to our understanding of "hit me up" and respect, all at the same time. Not that we were perfect, we weren't we were sinners like you all, but it seems that time has made you kids grow up so fast, that the thing they called innocence best deemed back then as naivety or gullibility needed a little more time to play out before we were I guess as they say now seasoned players of the age. May the Lord guide and direct you all, to make wise choices in the days ahead under the leadership of Pastor Costi and Brett. For even though life passes quickly, there are times of the seasons of the endless summers. Enjoy them. As Pastor Darryl teaches "Havel".

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

I will vow to say 7 yrs seems like a long time, and it is when you are 16-24, however, chew on this one awhile, think about Pastor Darryl, married now over half a century, but he did start out around 20-21 (and people like him, RBC has many) we now have been together for parts of 5 decades since '89 it takes a good 20 if not 25 or 30 years perhaps before you really know and become a lot like each other. The two shall become one in more ways than the one you thought of. So think about that, is this someone you can grow old with. Do you like each other's parents, because more times than not, you are marrying into a family of origin and traditions, and fast forward we become a lot like what our parents showed us to be like.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

Another thing to ponder down the road in your decision making, you will become much like the company you keep. If you invite Christ into every day of your life knowing your capacity and propensity to sin, then you will be on the right path. If you fall into the wrong pack, it is easy to stray and be picked off. Like exercise, much easier to maintain. If you let yourself go, it's a long hard road back. Something to think about.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

If Jesus can't be your best friend, then it is going to be very hard to have any other good or close friends, and that includes the opposite sex. Matthew 6:33 sums that up well, if He is first, and you have a solid relationship with Him, you know who you are, you know who He is, you know what you are capable of (especially if you like other sheep wander off), you keep focus on Him, and He will make you ready, for what is good, and right for your heart. Too often we think we know who we will love and who we want - then God may bring someone from completely across the world, who has a different culture, a different view, and knows exactly what you will need and how to complement it, like finding your missing rib, so long as you remember your origin was with Him, He breathed life into our dust. He is always first and last. Never forget that.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

74 sounds safe to me, by then you ought to be able to make good sound decisions.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

Note to self - 6:15 pm Pray for Pastor Costi, that he doesn't succumb to the Hangries.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

lol oh noooo like Mr. Bill from SNL - it's the Crummy Mummy

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

lol, great reality check kids, the better the cook, the more weight gained (do you like love handles?). Very funny and apt, power alleys and a short porch in CF, yes some of my friends have balded way too early - a ball cap can be your friend before Rogaine. There are changes, and til death do you part, can be awhile, are you ready for a long time commitment. Kids will also change you, so will work, chores, budgeting, responsibility, sharing the load, it's a lot more than I like you, and you like me from the old Barney the Purple Dinosaur show.

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

To add some relish to guilt, shame and sin in this regard Read Proverbs 7, let it sink in. Do not fall prey to the one who seduces you, goes to church, tosses in their offering, and think no one sees them or will catch them. God sees all, God knows all, and when you wake up, the accuser will have told him, and done a number on you, for you will know what you wished you had not known. See below - Proverbs 7

I just recently discover his preaching thanks to the American Gospel TV. . . What I honestly don’t get and in a way makes me feel uncomfortable is this: WHY the dark lights, concert type setting?

Identity in Christ preached in WOF by Eommack and Joyce Meyer. is that the same ?

  • @servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456

What Costi says towards the end 55 min appx - is true, the church has lost its backbone to stand up and declare sin as it is sin. For this many, a good man/woman, even once godly serving men has fallen. Just because one can - does not mean one ought. If you have to justify anything, that alone is a red flag. God does not play the "Let's Make a Deal" game.
