YES… The Ronald McDonald clown DID help promote sales immensely! I can remember as a kid, all the kids wanted to see the Ronald McDonald clown!! “Evil Clowns” are a recent invention. Clowns were never considered scary at all. And FYI, neither were Dolls…. These things turned into “scary objects” just in the millennial generation. A generation that’s scared of their own shadow. Lol
People have turned just plain weird these days!
