- iron thorns ex has a really powerful ability that is just what the future hands deck was missing, future was still doing good at the end of the last format and with this new addition it might just be broken

Love the vid and analysis, man. Do you post vids of live gameplay? I'd love to see some of that with the new set.
thanks so much, i want to do that eventually like with proxies before a new set comes out or something. ive also thought of recording locals and talking over them as a secondary thing to the ptcglive gameplay. i think thats what your asking, you mean physical cards right?
Solid list. I will probably try to fit in a pal pad to recycle some supporters
thanks and i was thinking about cutting the fourth generator for something like a pal pad cause it really doesnt need four but theyre so clutch to draw early so i left them in
@@sixpokemanstcg Seem legit. gotta power your iron hands or iron thorns as quick as possible
@@sixpokemanstcg The extra % chance of drawing it with maximum amount of copies is probably pretty important. Even if you don't need all 4 during the course of the game (miraidon op)
i agree, ive played with 3 in the past and it was fine but like you said just having better odds of getting it turn one and thats so much stronger now with the iron thorns. also just need to hit an energy off one turn two to use amp. i used to play the future ace spec for this but prime catcher is just too good
Clunky af. Tried this deck and you either get good draws off each supporter or you lose.
the future decks have always been a bit clunky, the iron thorns helps to slow games down tho. ive always had decent luck with it, every deck draws bad some amount of games. as long as you can get into miraidon its enough to play the game at least and it starts drawing better after thinning some of the energies out
@@sixpokemanstcg feel like the super rod is not really necessary for a "turbo build" you could put another energy to up the generator chances instead, also thought about Penny but dont know if its worth it at times since you mostly get KO'd most of the time cause of HP I swapped out a future booster energy for a bravery charm cause of that reason, also helps with Charizard after taking 3 prizes Hands and Thorns take 270 at that point so you survive the hit to maybe take another 3 or in this case Penny it back up besides that my list is the same minus the Bundle and one less Research for another energy (been playin turbo hands only since it came out)
yea the super rod is mainly for getting bundle back and to reuse the psychic energy and on the off chance you can combine it with generator at the end of the game. the penny was probably a better idea in theory to have a chance to get to a iron thorns only board against lugia or pidgeot control and to clear off damage from dragapult and to have a non item card to get out of the active against snorlax. have you not missed the fourth future capsule? the card i always wanted to add most is trekking shoes, just cause the hands can get awkward sometimes and it would help thin the deck out but never wanted them bad enough to cut anything
