Exactly! What a load of BS this video was. The purple spread of death happened to my phone yesterday. It's a damaged screen, and only replacing the screen can repair it. I have a repair shop ordering me a new screen, so they can then transfer everything from my dead phone over to my new phone.
I'm not doing weird thing to phone, but the screen suddenly got purple like this, a while its little but its growing and keep growing Oh btw all of this solution is worthless, only solution is repair screen with the new screen edit : its already almost half screen its purple only in week😭😭 Edit again : its already like 85% screen become purple only in 3 weeks 😭😭😭😭

I'm having the same problem from yesterday. It was, at first, only a purple dot. now, ⅓ of the screen is purple. I think it is a hardware problem, but in this video they are giving common software problem solutions. Not helpful at all.
Why is OS related to lcd display problem and this tutorial is complete waste of time I thought that this guy right here would say something like display replacement or repair
Just buy a new screen. That's the only way. Come to terms with it early so that when it goes off, you will be at peace. No amount of tricks can help you with this one. I've been there. TWICE!
yall dont waste yalls time infact just replace the new lcd display to a new one my sisters phone got wet then had this green an purple fluid then the bottom has a courrupted screen thingy probably that caused to explode the lcd fluid causing the purple screen
This happened to me many years ago with Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro, one of the worst moments of my life because I bought the cell phone with installments, nothing helped other than changing the screen. This happened with just one blow. Since then, I have not used devices with an AMOLED screen. I will never buy a cell phone. With this screen technology you can see that this horrible problem continues to happen.
@@HowardAmor lcd screens are much more durable and resistant than amoled screens, although unfortunately, shitty amoled technology is becoming more and more common
