is a great way to consolidate understanding. After learning the content of a subject, it is vital to test your understanding via cgp books and PMT. Once you have completed (thoroughly) all of the topics required for a specific paper eg paper 1 biology ( b1-b4) through this method, you should do past paperS (capital on the S as they are so important 😂). After doing this you are essentially set to do well. Continue banging out past papers and making flash cards till exam season to refresh your memory. But the most important thing, start early ( now).

Thank you so much! And yes, I’ll try to do that soon. But i would say that the most important thing is to be consistent from the start and try not to leave revision to last minute, but if you do like i did sometimes WATCH A BUNCH OF VIDEOS for each topic IN X2 SPEED

Thanks so much, and I’ll try to do that soon! But to put it briefly in case I don’t: I watched as many cognito and freesciencelessons videos for each specification topic, used cognito website for quiz questions, used physicsandmathstutor website for past papers and questions by topic, and used flashcards on quizlet with friends to refresh memory on mornings before exam

@@etinosa13 I had to take SAT my junior year (11th grade/Year 12) and ACT my senior year (12th grade/Year 13). I could have went to my college or university of choice without them, but our school forced us to have a test day with them.😅

hey girl congrats!! im in yr 10 n im hoping for similar results , any tips?
Since your in year 10, you don’t need to revise that much daily, but honestly doing it would help you a lot, so on normal days i would recommend like revising 40mins-1hr and then watch a tv show episode (or do something else for like 30 mins) and revise again, but when you have topic tests and mocks, increase the time that you spend studying in comparison to doing other things

how did you revise for history? i have my mocks soon and also my teacher predicts me a 5/6 but thats so low compared to my other subjects and i want to achieve better
Hii, basically, I didn’t really have any revision resources/books apart from the stuff we did in class, but i had some flashcards to learn dates, and then i found some free revision guides online (i just searched e.g. “Cold War revision guide”) and i would read a section, then cover it and write everything i could remember on that section i just read (blurting), and then as you learn more, you can blurt in larger sections for example a whole topic. I found this really useful to learn content because its basically what u do in the exams, and then if you also do past paper questions on top of this, you’ll definitely see an improvement in grades!

Thank you, try to revise consistently using the revision books which have condensed information, check specification, and don’t be like me who crammed everything in the weekend up to the exam 😭 also do flashcards on definitions and especially for like materials and processes (also watch videos it helps to remember process)

You should definitely start revising now, so that you are less stressed later on.
I honestly started really late (as in a couple weeks before gcses 😭, and regretted it, because I had to cram so much in and would hardly even sleep, & i was so stressed. But i think the reason I was able to do this was because i previously revised well for all my topic tests.

My results were a shock, i was expecting higher grades but ended up getting such low grades. I had a 7 jn history and wnded up with a 4, had a 6 in chem and ended up with a 4. But congratulations to you 🙂👌🏾

Also you really need to know how to substitute different equations into each other & rearrange them, and also units conversions in physics
