Bro your monologue about Yen and her behaviour is PERFECT. You are 100% right, Yen could do everything, I mean everything for someone she love.
And yes, Triss didnt lose memory, in my opinion she was just selfish and want to get Geralt, nothing more matters to her. ( I tell that only as funfact: in the books she basically betrayed Geralt and Ciri for the Lodge when Yen doesnt care if Lodge kicked her out or not, only Geralt and Ciri mattered.

Bro I'll be honest with you, if you have the chance to load a save, do the drinking part again and invite the girls over :D even offstream, you won't be dissapointed its hilarious (and there shoudnt be any consequences if I reckon right)
If you like quests that affect the world, radovid assasination is one of those, some intresting choices there as well:)) You have to do this before going for ciri or it will dissapear! Love the video btw

Witcher gear only becomes better than everything else once you upgrade it all the way, which takes a lot of searching and a lot of money. And even then you can still find better armor in the DLCs.
The reason you'd want to use it is because it's a lot better against monsters than non-witcher gear, which is usually better against humans/beasts.
You don't get absolutely op with witcher gear. it's just great looking gear that can be continously upgraded, instead of wearing whatever you find and risk it being ugly. Also, you can just go farm it and craft it and AFTER you can decide whether you want to wear it or not. To me the treasure hunts are fun and actually using your master armorer and swordsmith is great, too
52:32 exactly. Some people are just ignorant or close minded to her action, like what happend at the garden of Freya, but ultimately, she's a mother that'll do anything to save her daughter.
There is a secondary mission that affects the end of the game u don't have to do it but if you do you need to do it before going for ciri. Try to complete a lot of the ones in the big city otherwise u will lose them

About contracts - you can do them even after finishing main story so dont worry, contracts dont disappear
Comment for the algorithm, just wanting to thank you for making this series as entertaining as it has been. It's gotten me to pick up the game again to play the DLC (never got around to it before) and reminding me of why I love this franchise so much. Real breath of fresh air in my life.

There's something called the Law of Surprise, where instead of asking for specific payment someone can ask for "the first thing you see" or "something you find that you did not expect" when you get home, it's a magical bond that cannot be refused. Emperor Emhyr invoked it as a young man when he saved the king of Cintra, and when he got home he was met with a newborn daughter, Pavetta. Pavetta's mother wanted to marry her off before Emhyr could claim her for himself, so Geralt helped the lovers reunite and as payment invoked the Law of Surprise, which was when they discovered she was pregnant: with Ciri. This is what bound their fates.

Also, gotta applaud the casting for Emhyr var Emreis, Charles Dance who played Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones. Perfect casting in my opinion, no one can display ruthlessness and conviction quite like Charles can.

I wouldn't say the Witcher gear is op. I'd recommend getting them just cause they look good. gotta make sure you have that shit on.
Actually you can parry monsters but not all of them, try it on nekkers or drowners.

Can't wait to see how you react to the toussaint (blood and wine dlc) monsters. There's one that is pretty annoying, without giving the monster away I'll say it's on many people's phobia list. The heart of stone dlc has an interesting boss fight, not really difficult persey but definitely interesting.

you can make witcher gear but on lover lvl it will be simillar to this armor you have now and have better looking armor most armors founded in game are pretty bad looking at Geralt
Was about to type this week ago Wedn. but no disrupt after last episode, i took care of one Thing, so Accord to that video. I also thought the same way-[ ~ quote' I don't need that equipment, even if it's very Good/for experience - it is . but i though't it's boring. I was wearing few different equipment that i Remember until later in Skellige ..You're experience is most Important, i don't expect someone knowing that people watch him play like me¥ (I'm perfectionist ..< everything sorted out&keeping some items ^you can't sort all because after some time it resets, but i knew the few times i used Stash [composure]. I just wait for every episode kindly, keep myself real. Found you'r channel on recommended on that one Sunday night in March(i lost it on yt history later) but you did Keira Hunt quest on one video. I want to say Thank you for all your work you'r putting, doing great content💯 I was about to say that you've merely scratched a Surface, but it was in April , you'r progressing game quickly, but still so much to see. There are multiple ending Ace, but most of them are not yet set in stone by this point. But you just started part where choices really matter! and redo other options of drinking part, you wont regret it, some of the best "time with the boys" lines in game :P
Also really cant wait for you to do DLCs - some say that blood and wine is even better than base game, personally i think that it is one of the best dlcs to any game i have seen up to date
Witcher 2 doesn't need a remake, it's really not far off from the 3rd game once you get used to it
Algorythm comment :) If you're fine without the witcher gear that's your choice, all good. Just want to put out there one good argument FOR getting witcher gear: Fashion. Most of the witcher sets look much better than most of the other armor you can find around the world.
I am the same when playing games. Sometimes I add my own parameters, or stop using something if Infind it OP. I WAMT the challenge.

As I absolutely understand your monologue about Yen and agree that she'll do everything to protect their loved ones, I would like to have her in my corner when shit hits the fan.
On the other hand she is totally unbearable to be around. Not even as a loved one but as a friend. Aggressive, not knowing compromise. Always my way or the high way attitude in every single decision. Constant arguing and as Keira described "treating Geralt like a dog".
As there are people that might like that never ending drama in their lives, but even in the books there were constant arguing, break ups, and cheating left and right between these two.
Not character traits that I might understand any sane person would like in the long term partner.
Not that Triss is much better, especially in the books which is almost a different person then W3 one, but for me almost all characters in Sapkowski's books are mentally ill.
