Johnny Barton Yes, right on the mark. Too many people making music on computers and not enough making it on hardware, where twisting knobs and exploring sounds lead to creative tracks. Now it’s mostly following a simple formula in electronic music.
I think the reason this mix stands the rest of time for me is the great disco samples in many of the tracks. It gives it all a great groove.

I was a meathead bouncer and HATED "techno" until one random night, I heard him at a tiny packed club on a Tuesday night in San Jose. By the end of the night I quit bouncing and went straight into DJing and producing house music. Have never looked back. DJ literally saved my life.
