Amata doesn't even flinch, just unloads half a mag into the guard. She's a stone cold killer
She told him to stay away from her.
Not to mention all npcs in fo3 can shoot semiautomatic weapons faster then you XD
@@rabino560yeah they're like 2 shots a second than we get 1 shot every 3 second. Good old Bethesda not knowing how to code and recycling assets from old games. They're coding and animation is that of the 10m SMG if you compare it. So they just messed up and added animation for an automatic gun to a semi auto so it looks weird and only works if it fires to fast.
I didn't see that in my playthrough. It's funny how she shoots from the hip too 😂
Even the protagonist can't shot that fast
14:27 The clothed skeleton was choking the naked skeleton for sleeping with his wife.
4:32 "Instructions unclear, junk caught in fan blades"
two things I notice here, 1 the skeleton is naked, and 2 there is a blood stain across the back lining up with the hands not the torso.
the blood stain to me implies the man was thrown against the wall and landed there with the fan in his lap, the naked implies something sexual in nature, but since the video refuses to turn around or look around the room I don't see the full joke.
@@bloodred255 its not automatically naked, its a skeleton and a nuclear blast went off, the clothes were incinerated.
@@ItsGreenHerringthe skeleton has the protection of the building, less likely. Plus we see a few corpses in more open areas with extremely worn down clothing, it may be damaged, but not destroyed
@@miller-xz4wt It's Bethesda. What did you expect from them. Polish? No. I don't really care if it's naked or not. Have a good day.
@@ItsGreenHerring me neither, I just like to do research on things like this, you too.
The most mundane reason for the bears and weird skeletons with mannequins is probably some bored passerby arranging them like that for lols. Like arranging teddy bears in rude positions at a toy store.
I like to think that the staff at Bethesda play a weird D&D style game that’s set on the map for whichever game they are currently making and they have a set amount of time in which to achieve a set goal for that map and whatever is happening when the bombs fall is whatever the skeletons are doing in the game
In Fallout 4,
In Lexington iirc, inside a Bank vault, there's a big hole innit and 2 skeletons robbing the bank at the time of the nuke drop.
One skeleton is in the vault's hole, the other is at their getaway car.
Small details after 9 years later lmao.
Yeah, I remember wondering if that was a nod to the old classic movie "The Omega Man" where Charlton Heston comes across 2 skeletons who'd been in the process of robbing an armored truck. . . and he sees all this cash and gold just lying there in the street, now useless.
Hearing you call Brahmans "Brians" was really funny ngl lmfao
The cow tipping prank that went viral? My Brother in Christ, cow tipping has been a thing since before the internet was invented.
That's what i was thinking! lol
This blew my mind when he said it. I couldn’t tell if it was a joke on his part, he just worded that sentence weird or if he had never actually heard of cow tipping before it was an internet challenge lol. I need answers because my head is hurting now.
He meant viral as in a trend, not in the internet sphere. Either way it’s a video, relax
Well he's not wrong!
I didn't know it was a thing until cars lmao
I like to think the guy in the Citadel saw the bombs were dropping and said "Screw it, might as well die in a funny and suggestive position. Someone might find my body and get a laugh."
So he placed it on his lap to look like he was having relations with the fan.
I had a coworker who would probably do something like that, lol.
The other coworker saw his package and laughed. so he got depressed and put his friend out of his misery but he died from blood loss
Or his crotch was just sweaty on a hot day
If you have a child, especially a newborn, listening to “Hi Honey!” is really heart-wrenching.
Plus, when you know what happens afterwards…not like…cry-worthy or anything. *wipes tear from cheek*
I was a new mom and My daughter was only 6 months old when I first heard "Hi Honey" and it hit me really hard! It was such a gut punch and it absolutely pulled on my heart.
I have 2 kids under 3 and yeah... I teared up from that. Crazy how different stuff like that hits you after becoming a parent.
100% I'm not crying... it's just my allergies...

The fact that that chain reaction set-up exists in a place called “Gold Ruben Grocers” is an easter egg in and of itself.
That contraption is actually called a “Rube Goldberg Machine” named after American Cartoonist, Rube Goldberg.
That's awesome thank you for this
In the UK we call them Heath Robinson machines - would be a fun easter egg if they had a similar setup in the Fallout: London mod that took place at "Robin Heath & Sons Grocers" or something like that!
@@tm40428 Here's hoping they know about it.
he says that at 5:19
@@tm40428Yes exactly! I'm American but I've always been fascinated with the UK and there are so many things like this that would be fun in Fallout London.
13:47 so nobody is going to question the fresh eyeball as well.
Or fresh looking bloodstains next to skeletons for that matter. If anything, that bugs me the most just because it occurs so often. Apparently in the world of Fallout, blood only decays if it stays inside a corpse.
Recent kill, hungry animals?
I heard a theory that the mannequin in the Fallout universe are alive. And there are a few terminals in the games that support this theory. This explains some of the weird mannequins in the games. And it's a little scary too.
Considering ghosts are real it's not that far fetched thinking some spirits might be inhabiting the mannequinns
Thier early model synthetics . You can find a terminal in fallout 4 . And a sea captains log that say the mannequins where killing the crew .😮
So am I to believe the plural form of mannequin is mannequin?

The skeletons in the speakeasy get really dark when you look at them a little closer.
The skeleton in the bed has a combat knife laying next to some blood and drugs under the bed, meaning they likely self-ended.
There are so many skeletons around like that like I've found ones in the tub with a toaster .
I agree.
But the phrase "blood and drugs" now always reminds me of that scam where a scammer cold-calls people and claims the police allegedly found a white Toyota on the Texas border with blood and drugs inside and "rented under your name and social security number!"
4:27 "instructions unclear" meme
My favorite skeleton in Fallout 4 is the one under the Castle/Fort Independence. It is a direct reference to the fate of Fortunato from Poe’s short story “The Cask of Amontillado”. The skeleton is chained to the wall and had apparently been “buried” between two walls, but the bombs broke the wall. Additionally, a wine box with bottles labeled “Amontillado Wine” make the reference obvious
I remember before escaping the vault in Fallout 3 that i stumbled upon the Overseer and spoke to him. He was such a gnarly bastard that i murdered him on the spot. When i got to the vault door and Amata was waiting for me, I had to explain to her that i killed her dad which then i realized was the Overseer.
They even put dialogues if you go full maniac mode. This was the first time that i've played a game that had consequences so my reaction was pretty shocking.
fun thing in fallout 76 - in Tanagra town near the bus stop, there a little drawing that says "Darmok + Jalad". nice little star trek reference.
The runaway teenager in Fallout 4 is even sadder when you realize she never woke up when the bombs fell. Not only does the pose of the skeleton give this away, but so does the date she said in the holotape, just the night before the Great War began.
When Nate’s listening to “hi honey” I imagine him crying and It just makes me sad
There is a Fallout reference in a game called 7 Days to Die, when you talk to Trader Jen, if you open her inventory then leave without buying anything, she will say that she never heard of a stimpak before.
Let’s just take a moment to respect the game designers and such who took the time and effort to add these tiny details, both serious, dark, mysterious, and funny. I always appreciate stuff like that, and I think everyone else should take a moment to at least appreciate things like this.
Yes absolutely. One of the reasons why I've loved Fallout from the very beginning.
I remember watching the rube goldberg machine in fallout 3 and thinking “this absolutely is going to kill me” but I couldn’t bring myself to self to stop it and lost a half hour of progress.
There is a bar near swans pond in fallout 4 that is a reference to cheers the tv show, the name of the bar is even the German word for cheers
There is a real bar at that location, it was the bar used for the exterior shots from the Cheers show. It used to be called the Bull & Finch, but they changed it to Cheers in 2002. So, a reference to the TV show, but also a nod to the real world location.
The Prost Bar😊
Codsworth's enthusiastic "Mr. Fuckface!" makes me laugh so hard
The best part of the Goldberg machine was the computer console detailing the plans for this trap where the store owner designed this for looters. His plan was ultimately to drop down on opponents after distracting them with the store's destruction but he fell victim to one of his traps upstairs and still he plan went off without a hitch though he succumbed to his wounds.
Codsworth can say “Orgasmo” but can’t say “Cody” 😂
One of my favourite secrets from Fallout 4 is the Parking Lot Mystery Maze found in the Milton Parking Garage. It is an unmarked quest where you traverse a maze up several stories with traps and can get a choice between one of two rewards (with one reward being destroyed) if you finish it.
A hidden detail after the start of Fallout 3, if you pay attention to what you loot just between Megaton and Vault 101,
you'll find items to perform the "Shady Sands Shuffle" (Grenades, Stealth Boy) but the game never explains how.
New Vegas would later add "Shady Sands Shuffle" to its stats screen.
Fallout 3's achievement, "Psychotic Prankster," specifically describes "Reverse pickpocket an explosive into someone's inventory." The same stat tracked in 3 is "Pants Exploded," likely due to Shady Sands not being referenced in the Bethesda-developed games; it's renamed in New Vegas due to having the original games' developer team.
Amata really mag dumped a guard and blamed you for it
3:28 is it just me or is megaton named this because it's build around a megaton bomb?
The Skeleton with the fan was into some extreme CBT!
Good sir that is not how you pronounce Brahmin
What do you expect from an anglish
The fresh, or rather still rotting tomatoes on the stage are easily explained. One method actually used to keep packaged food fresh is to _irradiate_ it. That's right, when the bombs dropped, the strong pulse of ionizing radiation would have killed any organisms present in the rotten tomato, preserving it's rotting state for all of eternity, or at least for a very long time. In theory.
Ikr. . . an elderly neighbor (he was elderly in the 1990s!) told me he could remember some food company had actually advertised their food as having been irradiated so it would keep longer, stay fresher, and would supposedly be safer, because all the bacteria had been killed.
He said the company even used a friendly-looking, cartoon-stylized version of the nuclear trefoil on the packaging. Yikes I can't imagine shopping for food and seeing a ☢️ symbol on the package!
Thanks for mentioned our favourite part of Fallout games, Envioremental Storytelling Skeletons
hey something i found that you might like or hopefully have not found yet is that, at the start of Batman Arkham Knight, after you speak to Barbara Gordaon for the first time when you get on top of the clock tower you can see Man-Bat flying as you look at the mission. he crashed but he was learning how to fly. love your videos and there is just a little something you might like.
Codsworth saying "Mister Assface!" Was hilarious
in fallout 4 if you have nick with you, you can find a raidere grup that when they recognise nick, they will stop shooting and become freandly ,because nick had helped them
I speak on behalf of the entire Fallout community here, would like a video posted here on the channel, by the end of next week with an apology on your pronouncement of the Brahmin. Your's truly Fallout community.
You speak for you and your friends...not all of us.
Among ass
@tellmemoreplease868 no, you speak for yourself
"Cow Tipping prank that went viral a while back"? My guy, the internet didn't exist 200 years ago.
Yeah but he's not American and isn't cow tipping an American oddity?
@@zxyatiywariii8 I'd say so... super deep south pastime.
16:01 wait... I named my character so obscure that he can't say it? That's unlike me..
Try Siri with obscure names, she's even worse 😂
(I don't have an iPhone, I'm an Android girl, but a friend does, and it's hilarious hearing Siri try to say obscure names)
the one where the skeleton is in bed with a statue of a woman could also be a nod to an old greek story about a scolpture who makes a statue of a woman but he ends up falling in love with the statue
Yeah Pygmalion.
@@zxyatiywariii8Wasn’t Professor Pyg based off of that dude?
15:23 "Ve come for ze money, Lebowski!"
"Ja!"
"Or else ve cut of your JOHNSON!"
3:55 hate how everyone says that the only way up is to fly. it’s possible to use the terrible hitboxs on the walls to carefully climb up. it’s just it takes time to find the technically not existent path and even longer to climb up without falling
In Fallout 3, theres a chance you'll get held up by someone trying to mug you right out of the vault. if you somehow have caps on you, you can persuade him to get out of your face
I think "insane" might be a bit of an overstatement
Can't remember where I heard it from but I heard the subway Protectrons operate similarly to the utility ones in 4. They'll react if you give them a subway token but IIRC you have to basically mash the interact button because the Protectron will immediately go hostile if you don't.
New Vegas's power comes from the dam. They get 5% of the power as an agreement with the NCR. Though they had plenty of underground generators anyways.
While in Vault 101 the birthday sweet roll you get from old lady is the only one in game.
The Fallout 76 Teddy Bears aren’t the only teddy bears. In Fallout 4 and 3 you can find teddy bears in some *ahem* … interesting positions.
i don't remember if this is fact or speculation, but doesn't bethesda use teddy bears in strollers as a visual substitute for dead infants?
@@tonyshum5569 that’s not what I’m referring to
@@swag4jag559 regardless
@@tonyshum5569 Could be. I know Bethesda doesn't do child skeletons in the games. Kinda why it was weird seeing some in the beginning of Episode 2 of the TV show.
@@dandavis5533Yes, and I think it's not only because Bethesda didn’t want to show children's skeletons, I think it's also because children's skeletons are different from adults' skeletons in more ways than just size, so they'd require different design/coding.
(I know nothing about coding but I've worked post-disaster recovery all my adult life, including at the WTC Site after 9/11, and there are visible morphological differences between -- for instance -- a 4'8" adult skeleton and a 4'8" child skeleton. And Bethesda knows we Fallout fans notice details.)
You can reach Stockholm in Megaton by going into the Sheriff's house, getting to the last floor and parkouring your way to his sniping spot. It's sort of challenging but cool
13:55 For some reason food in fallout doesn't rot. How else could you eat 200 year old deviled eggs.
My guess is it was all so processed and not real due to the Corporatism and monopolies that it stays 'fresh'
And some machines can still make the food.
Tbh I don't trust any robots telling me to sit after the one robot tried to merc my character in the galleria
Make an entire skeleton lore episode
Bad to the bone starts playing
The thing with the mannequins, is that they are likely possessed, in far harbor, there’s a note that hints towards that
17:09 am I the only one that thought the ghoul was skateboarding for some reason?
Tony Hawk Ghoul Skater 3
@6:17 The cutlery is also set for only left handed people. Additionally, I just started vanilla Fallout 4 for the millionth time, on the Xbox one X. Went to the Dugout Inn, in Diamond City, and even though it is always been glitched so the grabber fails every time. I randomly managed to actually get the perfectly preserved, fancy pie from the vending machine in the entrance. Which was cool, I guess. Peace All
Yeah I thought so too. I'd be willing to bet one of the devs had worked in a cafeteria at some time, because the dropped/lost cutlery can be maddening for us employees, and it's a tiny but very satisfying little detail.
Also congratulations on getting that elusive pie!
You might get done for stealing as I was as well.
I found a teddy bear hospital in a bus which was pretty cute to see.
Had a rough evening and a migraine brewing. Chilling with my cat and picked your video to try and I'm glad I did. I learned some neat stuff and got a few laughs. Thanks for that.

Another new vegas detail I forgot which vault but the sidequest (you get it from the scientist at the mccaren) has you burn out the vault. Well if you go to the place where the gas is with a open flame weapon the gas will ignite with out having to do anything
In 76, I found one Outhouse (by the house that had a Pip Boy stigmatic) and it had a couple of children blocks that spelt out HI in the hole. I know, not crazy but it gave me a good chuckle.
I remember when i was younger and would find an easter egg that you covered, i would try and recreate the slow and smooth look and walk you always do, like i was recording the easter egg
Huh...I never knew about that Whitespring Resort detail! Thanks for the knowledge
Fallout 76 has a lot of skeleton and bear scenes. I'd love to see another Fallout hidden details video. Or even just a Fallout skeletons or bears video.
The fan easter egg made me thunk off that avenged seven fold song, little piece of heaven
i feel it's more of a unholy confession in the afterlife
I emptied out all of the casinos in New Vegas with 1 point in luck before. I’ve got good instincts when it comes to blackjack.
18:25 The red eyed teddy bears are called Teddy Fear. That my explain things.
At the Palace Of The Winding Path (big dark green building near the top of the map).
Outside, among the towers in the water you can find the Imported chinese panda, a Stuffed grizzly and a Stuffed polar bear stacked on top of each other. Like in the We Are Bare Bears intro.
16:40 one of the coolest thing for me in fallout 3 was that Protrectron in the metro would not shoot u if u had a metro ticket
3:14 ah yes the casual guard that walked past a murder.
You totally need to do at least FO1 and FO2 so many random little details. They just also hit different then the beth games
I know it’s unrelated what I’m about to say, but i feel it kinda isn’t. I would also love for the Captain to do an entire video on Stacking, one of my all time favourite games as the amount of hidden details in that and the DLC are amazing, he’s already done a few in the series in general; just think it would be cool to have them all in one spot since theres so many. I also agree with you though, a FO1 and FO2 would be great
You can do an hour long video on the teddy bears alone in fallout 76. I've lost count on how many I've seen in weird poses. Then there are the wooden blocks with the letters on them with messages, the mannequins including a random encounter one and the gnomes just in fallout76.
One of my favorite easter eggs in Fallout 4 is the Prost Bar which is just a big reference to the show Cheers, with tons of nods to the show inside the bar. (Prost also means cheers in German).
13:18 Look, having a voiced protagonist in Fallout 4 probably wasn’t the best idea. But you’ve got to admit, the VA’s did an absolutely amazing job.
the chain reaction one, I think this one was inspired by all of the oblivion domino day videos back in the days
The skeletons got replaced by teddy bears and gnomes in fallout 76
Those gnomes are creepy and hilarious at the same time
Yes, do indeed please play Fallout 1 and 2
I figured the mannequins get placed by raiders
You missed some teddybears from Fo3 in presidental metro. 2 tied teddy's with a sign that says "Help us" while a gnome is taking photos of them.
I vote for the original games hidden details. I'd be interested in what you find.
There’s actually another pretty cool Easter egg that Cudsworth would say some of them involved other games such as Mr. snake Mr. Freeman and that’s all I could remember:)
It would have been a cool idea if they did this concept with carbon shadows. Everyone always forgets about those.
9:27 if you follow the coast to the south in fallout 4, you can find a wrecked ship with raiders that will speak to you in another language telling you to leave them alone. I think they were guels
"A runaway." The dad told her to get out and they didn't try to stop her from leaving. Terrible parents.
Anyone who did the quest in New Vegas will have known about the cow tipping. Yes, there's a quest for that.
There are a ton of funny skeletons in 76, there is a frat house that had a party and a bunch of funny set ups
Couple extra details about Fallout 3, when it comes to brahmin-tipping, it's in Fo3 as well, and like the Whitespring robots taking your order, Angela in Rivet City will approach for your order as well if you sit in one of the Gary's Galley seats.
Would love to see some easter eggs from Fallout 1 and 2, maybe also from Tactics if your brave enough, the DLCs from 3,4 and NV would be cool to see too.
I second this.
In fallout 3 at the citadel, the BOS soldiers have great trigger discipline. If you walk into the shooting range they’ll stop their target practice
Ghoul from Slog Arlen Glass asking you bring him parts for toy pony from Wilson Automatoys factory. Also you can visit headquarters of WA in Boston and find story of his departure and bring him holotape from his wife and daughter Marlene. You must experience this scene with him...
I know of at least two good skeleton Easter Eggs in Fallout 76. Close to the starting Vault, you can find a Snoopy reference on top of a doghouse. Jack Torrance from The Shining is also in a hedge maze in Riverside Manor I think.
I noticed when playing point look out again the brawlers look close to guy in men in black. Specifically the farmer who had the bugs inside of him.
Fallout 1 and 2 have some hilarious small details and random encounters.
7:12
Either there’s an invisible Deathclaw lurking about, or that’s the most predatory sound I’ve heard coming from a cow 😂
When you realise how many things happened right before the war, it starts to feel weird. Not even related to the war
There's a skeleton in FO4 that's pretty much right outside Vault 81, it's sitting in a bathtub wearing sunglasses and holding a Nuka Cola Quantum.
Love your video and keep up the great work you are awesome
