I’m pansexual as well 😃 I came out to my parents yesterday, and their reaction was kinda good? They said they’ll support me but my mom said that I’m to young to know my sexuality and that I probably just mistook wanting to be like someone for having a crush (I didn’t. I know exactly how a crush feels like and that is a crush) and she told me I’ll probably be straight again before I turn 20 years (she blames my pansexuality on puberty 🙄) and my father was just talking about how people nowadays make up so many labels and that he still wants grandchildren. My brother was like “eww”. But hey, it’s been a day and they treat me like a normal human being, so everything is fine 😁

People don’t realize how hard it is to not date. Being ace is like being a walking sign that says HEY IM BROKEN and aro means you can never fell the comfort of being in a relationship and being seen. Being aroace is so depressing bc it feels like you’re all alone. Your constantly told that you just haven’t met the right person, the se/ you’ve had just wasn’t good, and if your a virgin how would you actually know?, the worst is the “ oh ew that’s not natural, have u had that checked out? It’s a medical issue that needs checked before it can get worse!” I love people telling me my existence is a problem that needs fixed. Pls realize it’s not as simple as it seems and show a little love to Aro, Ace, and AroAce people u meet.

You can't just exclude any of them that don't have severe dysphoria and say they're not trans without it. Your dysphoria isn't your gender. You are your gender. Plenty of trans people are still themselves without being dysphoric. Most people do get dysphoria, yes, but it's not a requirement. Plus, not everyone, regardless of how bad their dysphoria is, takes hormones or wants surgery. It's an option. You also don't realize how sex doesn't equal gender. Someone's sex can never be changed, as that is a physical feature identified by their body, but gender is entirely social, as people made it up. Gender is assigned at birth based on sex, but as it is a social aspect of human life, it can change. Like our names. We're given a name at birth, but nothing on our body is restricting us from having other names or replacing it entirely.
I just accepted myself this last week!! I finally realized that i can try something out. I always thought that I had to find something that fit perfectly (which i spent so long stying to find) before I could identify with a label. In my subconscious I just thought that people wouldnt use whatever preferred pronouns because i look and sound quite femenine, and i would have to find a complete identity before i identified differently than before. With a sibling that is trans... I still feel so bad that i cant be comfortable with the identity my parents give me. They chose this name for me.. it feels like rejecting it. I love my name, it's pretty, but feels like not the true me. Now, i feel comfortable using They/Them pronouns! It may or may not be permenent, and i still have so much more to explore about myself and figure out. But for now.. i can take it step by step. Sorry for the rant Dont be afraid to try things! You want to try a different pronoun? Try it!! Identify with a different sexuality? Sure!! Ive struggled accepting my romantic/sexuality because I've never dated. It dosent matter, though. Your feelings are valid!!!

Thank you so much. Some time ago it became illegal in my country to talk about LGBTQ+ in any positive way and it's considered to be a "propaganda". I became a little more closed talking about it all with new people since then. I have many queer friends and I am bi myself, but it seems we'll not get a chance to tell others about it soon. You can't just exclude any of them that don't have severe dysphoria and say they're not trans without it. Your dysphoria isn't your gender. You are your gender. Plenty of trans people are still themselves without being dysphoric. Most people do get dysphoria, yes, but it's not a requirement. Plus, not everyone, regardless of how bad their dysphoria is, takes hormones or wants surgery. It's an option.
You also don't realize how sex doesn't equal gender. Someone's sex can never be changed, as that is a physical feature identified by their body, but gender is entirely social, as people made it up. Gender is assigned at birth based on sex, but as it is a social aspect of human life, it can change. Like our names. We're given a name at birth, but nothing on our body is restricting us from having other names or replacing it entirely.

I just accepted myself this last week!!
I finally realized that i can try something out. I always thought that I had to find something that fit perfectly (which i spent so long stying to find) before I could identify with a label.
In my subconscious I just thought that people wouldnt use whatever preferred pronouns because i look and sound quite femenine, and i would have to find a complete identity before i identified differently than before.
With a sibling that is trans... I still feel so bad that i cant be comfortable with the identity my parents give me. They chose this name for me.. it feels like rejecting it. I love my name, it's pretty, but feels like not the true me.
Now, i feel comfortable using They/Them pronouns! It may or may not be permenent, and i still have so much more to explore about myself and figure out. But for now.. i can take it step by step.
