I agree that the 49ers should accept the Steelers offer and then go find a receiver. Not the best position to be in, but Aiyuk is now starting to hurt the 49ers and it is time to move on. He was offered $32 mil from the Patriots and turned it down. Not sure what he was offered by the Browns, but he turned it down. Clearly he wants his cake and eat it too. But as the Cowboys and 49ers know, you can't win championships and pay everybody "What they are worth". A team like the Patriots can pay him more, because they are not a championship team. Fact is that both Lamb and Aiyuk are UNDER contract and are not being honorable. It is one thing to force a holdout under contract and another thing to be a free agent.

I think u mean he's holding the team hostage ? They don't even have to let him seek trade offers yet they are letting him

Yeah, if you sign a contract and then say you're not going to honor your contract until you get a new one, who is holding who hostage? He asked for a trade and the Niners found two options that would satisfy his monetary demands while also providing the Niners value, but he rejected both options. The Niners generally don't make emotional business decisions where they give up value to make things easier on themselves because that just teaches players that they can act like Antonio Brown and get what you want. There will likely come a point where the Niners just give him the option to play or sit, and then they'll move on either way. Keep in mind, if he sits the whole regular season, he's still on his option because the year doesn't count, and his willingness to do so will make other teams question whether they want to invest in him.

Mike florio makes the most sense.
49ers have trade Brandon to the Steelers and get maybe a 3rd and a 5th and then trade for whatever else they need from another team

No they actually don't. BA is under contract for the 5th year option. If he doesn't play then he loses massive amounts of money and he can affect his future contract with other teams. If he becomes a free agent next year do you think there are going to be teams like NE bidding for his services??? Less teams in the bidding process means a lower contract. Also for some reason BA thinks he is a free agent. Nope. The do not have to trade him to Pittsburgh.. If they do it will set an incredibly bad precedent for other negotiations.
