I need a small size gimbal so thought that the weebill s could give me stable footage. I may need to get this just for its size but will try it out and return it if the gimbal has problems. By the way, I saw below how one comment was that the gimbal (Weebill S) was not working-I can't stress the usefulness of buying extended warrranties, such as through square trade. So valuable.

Not compatible at the moment while all other cameras are.... also I wish the locking system would be better built and the gimbal itself made of aluminum and carbon fiber. Everything else is Sony that has to change for me, like face detection while using an external monitor, being able to see your iso values on a monitor while recording 4K. That would be perfect for me.
See if I wanted to stay small I might condsider Weebill S. But holding the sling arm I can hold it longer. I like 3S because its like a modular system which is great for using it in bigger productions. The WeeBill S may be able to hold my GH5 in a SmallRig cage but it sounds like I would be using the motors a lot more. I am not partial to the upright holding option of the Crane 2. Hows turning it upside down for lower shots?

hey buddy it isnt about, which can you balance/performance. It’s the total payload of the gimbal, and the distance u need to balance the camera. Crane 3S has lengthy back motor so for front heavy lenses you can just pull it to the back without hitting the back motor. but 100% of the time if you arent shooting on reds or have equal weight distribution setup a crane 2s or the weebill s is better than enough but that is my opinion though.
Gabo Guerra your lens is heavy, but is it lengthy? shorter lens has easier balancing properties. the camera and cage would probably be around a kg. so u have 500g of weight at the front. Do you think a little shift to the back on the gimbal could balance it? if yes a crane 2s is definitely good enough. otherwise, the crane 3s is definitely the way out.
Pseudo Dog yes, I guess counterweights might be used for a very small adjustment but not for daily work for all the set ups. I’m thinking of a 1.5Kg lens since it is anamorphic (Vazen EF mount) for a 6K. The length is about 17.5cm, so it is long, plus a couple of round 95mm filters and a light rubber sunhood when needed. Unless there could be another anamorphic reliable solution for EF mount...

i'm asking cause i've like a super long shoot in a month and i was thinking to get something to make my life easier without having to hold the gimbal all day in my hands and destroy my back in those 2 weeks, so I thought to make the minity and buy a vest, but i've seen u and the other guys didn't post much since may about it.... setup would be like a7iii + weebil s + the uurig reversed handle with a 5' monitor on it minity made with flycam comfort vest + flycam 5000 no idea if it's balanceable like that with the handle and the monitor... what u think?

@@MomentumProductions1992 I thought I would give them another chance. Big mistake on my part. My V2 will only stay on for 30 seconds no matter if its fresh batteries/ new batteries. My Webill S will not balance no matter what I try, as soon as I turn the unit on tilts. I watched your balancing video probably 25 times and the thing will just not balance. I now watch your Glidecam videos for expert advice.

Crane 2S only supports cable control but you can connect the Bluetooth with your phone to control it.
