- Carl Radke spoke to Access Hollywood’s Lauren Herbert on the 2023 BravoCon red carpet where he opened up about his split with Lindsay Hubbard less than three months before their wedding. The “Summer House” star said, “This has been harder than literally my brother passing away, I’m not kidding. The emotional side and also like the fall out that it’s been for two months, I’m just optimistic that people will see this season, it’s going to be painful but they will understand how the conversation and decision came to that, where I felt like I needed to say that to Lindsay that I’m not sure this is right.”

Wishing them (Carl and Lindsey) the best. I had to call off my engagement last year and it is definitely the hardest thing I have ever done.
I always kind of felt like their relationship would start losing momentum once the cameras were off of them. I felt like they were both just "acting" vs really being in love. I also felt like they just gave up their search and thought "we may as well get together, it would make life so much easier for us". I'm sorry for their pain but I'm really glad that they called things off.
Lindsey throught that them being best friends that she could mold him into what she wanted her ideal man to be. Last season Carl had to come to her rescue on everything
If the season had wrapped( he said they fought the day they wrapped) how would production know he needed to talk to Lindsay if he didn’t call them and set it up that makes no sense

I hope Carl finds other sober peeps that understand that road. It’s such a unique thing and you really have to have a strong support system in it

I was team Lindsay and Carl all last season but now they split I’m understanding where Danielle was coming from. Carls a good guy and I don’t think he took this lightly. I hope he’s okay he looks so skinny from the breakup 😢. This just sucks all around

I think there can be two truths/perspectives. I feel horrid for both of them. I’m so so glad he hasn’t relapsed. Re the break up: I think he did the right thing but in the wrong way.
Lindsey is a difficult person. I don’t think we need to understand the “nuances” it’s pretty clear on the sobriety differences and her princess entitlement.

@@kimalexander268 I agree. He shouldn't have done alot of things. Like proposing to Lindsey when neither of them were in a good place in their own personal lives. Lindsey had just experienced a miscarriage with another relationship and her mental health was suffering tremendously from that drama. So I agree that neither one was ready to commit to each other.
