Dave Cobb is a nine-time Grammy winning music producer. He is a recording producer, songwriter, and recording engineer. The music general he's best known for is Americana, Country and Rock and Roll. He's worked with artists such as Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, Lori McKenna, Brandi Carlile, The Oak Ridge Boys, and more. You can add Zayn Malik to that list. Zayn has released four solo albums, Mind Of Mine, Icarus Falls, Nobody Is Listening and Room Under The Stairs. Zayn's new album has fifteen song tracks. Zayn wrote twelve out of the fifteen songs himself. Zayn also released a Z-Side with five demo tracks which he wrote and produced himself. Zayn co-produced RUTS alongside Dave Cobb. Zayn has also stars in the animated movie '10 Lives'. He voices two characters, Cameron and Kirk. He is also the executive music producer overseeing the musical direction of the movie. Zayn has written and performed original songs for the movie, including a duet with actress Simone Ashely. Although Zayn has not toured since leaving 1D, he has kept himself very busy in other ways. I am so proud of him. He is such an incredible vocalist and lyricist. You should really check out his work.

Zayn is a very chill guy, he moved to Pennsylvania about 6-7 years ago. He doesn’t like the buzz of the city or the paparazzi so neither NY nor LA worked for him. He lives on a farm in PA and enjoys his life with his daughter as he tries to let her live a normal childhood. The place where he is living now heavily inspired the sound of his new album ‘Room Under The Stairs’.. It’s an incredible album; everything is well done in my opinion. It’s very personal and raw too because it’s his writing and production. Hope you check it out :)
Zayn also had his first gig in 8 years. He has come a long way and I can’t be happier for him; he is an inspiration.

I absolutely love this Album. I think his found his niche and this is it. I'm genuinely happy for him as he has had to face a lot of adversities though the years. His daughter with his ex has brought out the best in him I'd say and this album is a reflection of that and also of the break up with her Mother. Love your reaction videos guys. The interview he does with Zack Zang is another great one to react too as Zayn gets a bit more indepth into the album.

So glad that zayn is finally healthy and happy enough to do all of these things (so many interviews and a concert, after this many years) in this new era!! and happy that everyone has the chance to know the real zayn and his sweet personality and his gentle soul… Thanks to his lovely daughter for bringing color back to his life (said it himself) and healed him and causing him to be genuinely happy again :))

I loved Zayn's interview with Kelly. It's the 3rd (and most recent) one I've seen lately, and I'm struck by how much more relaxed and happy he appears than at the end of 1D. I think that the farm and Pennsylvania play a big role in that; it's easier to get to know yourself when you're spending your time feeding chickens, playing with your daughter and composing music. I'm so happy for him! Ps - The songs I've heard so far from this new album are almost country/folk type. Love them and how they showcase his voice a whole lot.
I love his new album Room Under The Stairs! And, yes, its really different from his other albums, this one is more folk, country, sometimes even blues with a slight touch of R&B in some songs, but more folk and country in general. The lyrics are very personal and honest, and his voice reflects well the emotions present at the time he wrote each song (and his voice still amazing btw)! My current favorite tracks on the album are How It Fells, My Woman, Dreamin, Greateful, The Time and Something in the Water... you're going to react to Alienated, right? I was a little confused if you were talking about Alienated or What I Am when you said which one you will react to XD If it's Alienated, I recommend watching the live version he posted on his channel ;)

There are some other great interviews out there! He likes Chris Stapeltons sound, a country vibe. Never been a Zayne fan after 1D til now! Alienation is a great song too!
I happy you guys grew to like Zayn. Only because I remember your rant when the family drama came out. I had a feeling that you would get to know him at some point & realize he’s actually a decent guy.

He also brought his own homemade hot sauce from his farm's peppers for the HotOnes crew when he went there for his first interview for this album :)
His ex Gigi lives in New York and LA and apparently her mother has a farm in Pennsylvania so I'm guessing he ended up there to be close to his daughter. I believe they share custody. Also its close to Jfk for flights back to London. Maybe I'm wrong on all this. Its just my opinion.
All we ask is that you take the time to do your research on your topics and the people.
Louis is out there doing shows where you hear him for 10 seconds of each song. For every 100 comments about his shows, the majority of the comments are about the band members, the loudness of the audience, and the fan projects or LBGTQ (which by the way, Louis has never ever mentioned but his fans are living their fanfic dream and Louis is going with it to sell merch and tickets). The only time Louis himself is mentioned is when they are commenting on the colors of the light and his clothes. Is it a blue-eye thing?
