Best part about Sony IV 300 is I can connect anything via HDMI and it will act as an integrated system. So it takes care of video part along with great sound output. It has 2 hdmi inputs. I have connected a dth and Playstation simultaneously and IV 300 takes care of switching between two. My sony bravia is compatible with its remote. And as this is HDMI receiver, I get a great user interface in tv to perform various settings like setting the volumes of front rear center and subwoofer channels. The best I can get for my requirements is IV 300. And to all those who are behind bass, bros, music is not only about bass. If bass is your only comparison parameter, that thing can be given to you by a cheap local assembled amps as well. 😌

Home Theatre means atleast 5.1 for movies not for songs. For songs 3.1, 2.1, 2.0 are enough. But for movies surround effects are important with vocals, bass, THX 😊 you feel like you are inside the scenes 5.1 channels for movies, *Go For Logitech z906* Songs are orchestrated for stereo effects. Hollywood Movies, webseries are orchestrated for Theatre Experience surround effects.

Here, logitech z906 satellite produce neutral sound stage, and the audio delivered is close to source track. So, z906 is superior than the iv300, which delivers artificial sound stage.
⚡I listened to this video on Z906. Sounds good.🔥 By the way, I also have a Pioneer Elite VSX-LX305. Believe it or not Logitech sounds better on a computer than Pioneer.
I'm using the Sony HT-IV 300 for the past 5 years, it isn't the cleanest sounding but it's an okay system for the price. The bass is totally bloated on the IV 300 and they don't respond well with EQ, so I highly suggest you adjust the subwoofer to -6dB and the surrounds to +1.5dB from the settings available. It dramatically improves the sound quality.

I have an old pc which have only 3 3.5mm jacks in the mother board.... no hdmi, no optical port.... how can i connect my Sony ht iv300 to my pc at the most affordable cost to get true dolby 5.1 audio... i have tried to connect my pc via rca to 3.5mm wire, but the output is pathetic... thanks
There are few tinkering involved in every sound system to equalize it according to your liking. IV300 is not perfect too. But around ₹20k this is the only htib which has dolby+dts HD lossless audio decoding, 4k passthrough, 2 hdmi+ 1 ARC etc. This is receiving framework updates till recently. Absence of tweeter makes bass overpowering, but can be pulled down to -5 or -6db to make it less overpowering according to room acoustics. Logitech is a very good too but again lack in high frequency generation, connectivity options and no passthrough at all, limited to dd and dts decoding not dd+ or dts-hdma decoding. Although being thx certified, it has clear dialouge/vocal performance Both system has pros and cons. Overall it comes to VFM and iv300 takes the lead.

If you're looking for sound clarity, go for logi ( also the bass is so much) If you're looking for deep immersive surround sound with altered highs, and lots of connectivity options.. go for sony. (The sub is also handling the vocals sometimes..that's why it appears to be loud even though the satellite speakers are small. so, it feels like adding extra boominess to the vocals, especially for those singers like arijith singh, yesudhas etc.)

This z906 sounds like it is in big trouble for picking up those highs. This is not how it actually sounds. This is clearly a used one. Because of this issue, the former owner might have returned the system. Actually, it's lot more crisp and immersive than the ht iv 300. Owned both these systems, and i know which sounds better. To the conclusion.. Both are👎 Go for yamaha yht1840 if you're a true audio enthusiasist, even though bass is less compared to z906.

Hope the channel host read this comment. Bro, did you use pagaria bluetooth adaptor to make z906 wireless. Come on......Please don't do like this. Not only with this hometheater. Bluetooth will decrease the detailing of audio signals. Try to use the aux cable. I thought you'll have some idea about connectivities. And one more thing. Play sony in it's maximum clarity output and logitech z906 with a THX sound card (since logi has only optical, coaxial and anolog inputs, no hdmi arc) And also, try to buy a new logi if the one you have is a used one.
Logitech z 906 is a good home theater but I think some times logitech gets distorted at some level.but with boomy bass but sony sound is clear and balanced.but logitech z 906 is some times gets highly reverbed due to introduction of thx.so sometimes gets like a theater like experience in logitech but in sony sound is fully crisp with out any mere distortion and balanced and logitech bass is boomy and sonys bass is deep notice it!!

Brother either you haven't set that put that set up in a proper way or you have manipulated thing's, it's no way possible for Sony to kill bass output of logitech. And when it comes to logitech z5500 Sony is not even capable of said to get compared. I compared both in a super store and bass of logitech start shaking ground and shelf speakers started moving with thrust of bass.
Give some room to Logitech bass port.. I own a z906 for past 11year. And it working in perfect condition, besides few broken speakers connecting ports. I usually listen it on 60-70% volume on every weekend days. And yes its amplifier gets prity hot. But never face any serious issues. And yes its control unit dies after 5year, and got easily repaired by local electrician. i love z906. But agree with everyone's point that Logitech service is poor. But z906 is not that much delicate or poor quality build system. And believe me, the thump of that 8inch long throw Tang band sub is mind blowing. And it's almost a decade old system and Sony iv300 is a new system, and also Sony is pioneer in making music system. So there is no sense of comparing there input methods. In a sound system you can compromise few input methods, and can add few hardware like bluetooth for connectivity. But you can't add extra bass to your system. In conclusion i only want to say that both system is great. The level of Sony fidelity in music is unbeatable, and the the level of Logitech's bass and all Tang band drivers is on another level.

Bro don't use that cheap Bluetooth adapter for comparison. Connect both via optical and then compare. I think Logitech sounds much better. I have Logitech z625 and it sounds amazing when connected with pc with correct equalizer settings.

If the sub is handling vocals, it has a shit crossover. A sub is never supposed to handle anything above 120hz

LCD ya LED tv me almost zero effect parta hai. Generally CRT TVs or monitor me ye asar jyada padta hai.

Logitech z 906 is a good home theater but I think some times logitech gets distorted at some level.but with boomy bass but sony sound is clear and balanced.but logitech z 906 is some times gets highly reverbed due to introduction of thx.so sometimes gets like a theater like experience in logitech but in sony sound is fully crisp with out any mere distortion and balanced and logitech bass is boomy and sonys bass is deep notice it!!

Brother either you haven't set that put that set up in a proper way or you have manipulated thing's, it's no way possible for Sony to kill bass output of logitech. And when it comes to logitech z5500 Sony is not even capable of said to get compared. I compared both in a super store and bass of logitech start shaking ground and shelf speakers started moving with thrust of bass.

I own a z906 for past 11year. And it working in perfect condition, besides few broken speakers connecting ports. I usually listen it on 60-70% volume on every weekend days. And yes its amplifier gets prity hot. But never face any serious issues. And yes its control unit dies after 5year, and got easily repaired by local electrician. i love z906. But agree with everyone's point that Logitech service is poor. But z906 is not that much delicate or poor quality build system. And believe me, the thump of that 8inch long throw Tang band sub is mind blowing. And it's almost a decade old system and Sony iv300 is a new system, and also Sony is pioneer in making music system. So there is no sense of comparing there input methods. In a sound system you can compromise few input methods, and can add few hardware like bluetooth for connectivity. But you can't add extra bass to your system. In conclusion i only want to say that both system is great. The level of Sony fidelity in music is unbeatable, and the the level of Logitech's bass and all Tang band drivers is on another level.

Bro don't use that cheap Bluetooth adapter for comparison. Connect both via optical and then compare. I think Logitech sounds much better. I have Logitech z625 and it sounds amazing when connected with pc with correct equalizer settings.

I have heard both home theater sound. Sony has everything like hdmi, Bluetooth etc but i can say logitech is beast. This guy is not using good mic. Logitech has been already reviewed by most youtuber only this guy is saying that sony is great in all things. Some People r saying that logitech is good for only movies. Use 2.1 for music, 5.1 for movies and game if u r game or movie lover. Or ha bass low rkhna thoda wrna neighbour or labour sabko hila dega😂😂
