    Excellent as usual, and the suggestion to do it on a trailer, good idea, I don't have any concrete at my farm so thanks for taking the time to share all this info.

      It did thanks agin. My height knob seems to be hard to adjust on a brand new tractor is there something I’m doing wrong ? Does the deck need to be in a certain position or something like that it’s almost impossible to move

    I apologize if it sounds like a stupid questionwhen leveling the front of the Kubota do you do the left and the right side of the two branches the two bolts on the front bracket if that makes sense,. not speaking of the back I'm speaking of the front of the Kubota at the end of the video do you adjust both of those nuts?

    What mulching kit do you have on your tractor. I'm wanting to add one to mine but don't want cheap junk. All i can find is cheap over priced junk compared to what I've put on the ole cub cadet.

      It is a homemade OCDC.

    Where the best place to measure front to back on a two blade more? Thank you!

    • @TractorTech
      @TractorTech  Před 5 lety +1

      I'd level the deck side to side. The you can measure the front and rear of the same blade for your front and rear. I usually measure the blade and the right side since you can fold up the chute deflector for easy access.

    What is the metal flap over your mower chute and cable running to it?

    • @TractorTech
      @TractorTech  Před 7 lety

      It is an OCDC (Operator Controled Discharge Chute). It allows me to control how far my clipping go.

      94BULLITT nice, I ordered a mulch kid for my bx mower kit. I've always mulched with my riding mower. But, not sure if it's a wast of $300 on the bx yet.

    I have a question. Before starting to level, do you lower the deck all the way down, or half way ? Thanks in advance

    • @TractorTech
      @TractorTech  Před 3 lety +1

      Lower it to where you cut your grass.

      @@TractorTech so, if I want a three inch cut I set my dial at 3 then adjust to that ?

    What if you dont't have a level place on a floor. My garage is not level

    • @TractorTech
      @TractorTech  Před 6 lety +1

      Do you have a trailer you could put it on? You could level it side to side with tire pressure or a floor jack and front to rear with tongue jack.

  • @Stegs
    @Stegs Před 5 lety

    ok, so you said that if you level it on 4, and then cut at 2, your deck wont be level? Your deck should be level at any height correct? I cant see adjusting the height knob will make the deck unlevel from setting to setting.....Level the deck at 4, it should be level at any height. The knob only adjust how far the deck with drop down?
    Unless you meant that the anti scalp wheels will hit the ground making it unlevel.......maybe im wrong...

    • @TractorTech
      @TractorTech  Před 5 lety

      The deck does not raise straight up and down. Watch how it moves when you let it down. It should be leveled at your desired cutting height. It won't be out that much if you change your cutting height but it is best to have it set up where you use the deck the most.
