Saw Ozzy with Randy in Chicago in early 1982 just a couple of months before the plane crash (how the hell have 41 years gone by so quickly?). Randy was simply phenomenal.
Then, the next thing we knew, Randy Rhodes, and others that were aboard that plane, were killed. When I heard the tragic news, I went into a state of complete shock! I couldn't believe it! Suddenly, one of the very best guitarists that I'd ever heard, was... Gone. A story emerged in more recent times, that the Bass Player went into a Church just after that, and heard someone praying and crying uncontrollably...and when he saw who it was, saying that it, at the very least, caught him off-guard, would be a huge understatement. It was Ozzy Osbourne himself!!! Ozzy Osbourne has been known to affirm his Faith in God. I think that others in Ozzy's band, at least one or two others, have quite possibly reverted to the Christian Faith. Not sure about that, but I thought that I heard that rumor, back several years ago.

I was a teenage kid in the arena in Knoxville, TN in March 1982 and saw this band together for the last time. Randy Rhodes was absolutely incredible to see live. Only guitarist in his class was Eddie Van Halen. Randy was killed in a plane crash the next day. I still remember how the news spread like wildfire thru the locker area of my school the day after the concert. I had my Blizzard of Ozz tour shirt on that I bought at the concert. Randy Rhodes RIP. Sadly, I was diagnosed with wrist syndrome on both of my hands, and so I stopped studying for a while, at least until the surgery. I guess, as far as the bassline in the guitar solo 's concerned, it 's only sixteenths performed by Daisley. He was a great bassist to me, now retired, one of my favourites, either with Rainbow or Ozzy or Gary Moore. I love it !!!!!!!

I was a teenage kid in the arena in Knoxville, TN in March 1982 and saw this band together for the last time. Randy Rhodes was absolutely incredible to see live. Only guitarist in his class was Eddie Van Halen. Randy was killed in a plane crash the next day. I still remember how the news spread like wildfire thru the locker area of my school the day after the concert. I had my Blizzard of Ozz tour shirt on that I bought at the concert. Randy Rhodes RIP. Gone way too soon. Nuf said.
The thing to remember also is that Rhoads died a hero, saving Ozzy Ousborne and the band's lives.

Yeah the bass is real dynamic as well as Randy’s guitar. It gets insanely fast there for a minute. I play bass and I was listening and I was like “whoah…I can’t play this.”
@@aaronlitchfield1268 nice! Well, you know, I study four-string electric bass guitar. I have the chinese model Washburn T14 Taurus with a "Fenderish" shape, second-hand. Sadly, I was diagnosed with wrist syndrome on both of my hands, and so I stopped studying for a while, at least until the surgery. I guess, as far as the bassline in the guitar solo 's concerned, it 's only sixteenths performed by Daisley. He was a great bassist to me, now retired, one of my favourites, either with Rainbow or Ozzy or Gary Moore. I love it !!!!!!!
