Amanda Show Star Raquel Lee Bolleau Blasts Quiet on Set Docuseries | E! News

The very same people who wanted her to talk about how the industry treated her like she didn't matter, turned around and treated her like she didnt matter... i can understand the frustration.
Exactly it’s like she just wanted to be on tv again like the rest got the chance to they had interviews after she didn’t she thought doing the documentary would bring her back in the industry fold cuz why else u want to be around them folks
No frustration just evil.
She DOESNT matter
Looks like the producers of "Quiet on set" have gone "Quiet" themselves....🤨🤨🤨
People don't realize that they are unbothered. They made this documentary for a big hit, something juicy for people to watch, not to expose wrongdoings or facilitate change.
They did it and received their profit. The participants thought that they were part of a movement because it was important to them,
but for the producers it was just quick storytelling and a buck.
Nothing scandalous is going on, at least from their perspective. They have no interest or parts in further issues or conversations.
When people get involved in these projects and the industry they need to be discerning and know it will always be the case.
@@lavenderangel2655regardless it needed to come out
@@donrightgaming1455 not saying it didn't. I'm saying that's a whole different conversation and people are not telling the difference.
@@lavenderangel2655disagree - we have space for both conversations, people are smart and can hold that. It’s like how people were balancing being fans of a huge kids network & accepting the level of abuse that went on.
@@ambriaashley3383 again. No one said there was not space for both conversations, my point to the last person is that they are just different conversations.
My original point is that the producers are not quiet because they are scrambling, doing damage control or at a loss for words. They are quiet because it was never important to them, they just produced a product to sell and make profit. They are not invested in how the participants feel or the conversations that have followed, they are probably not even aware.
When that becomes understood, future expectations, decisions and outcomes would be more clear.
When quiet on set won’t comment back that right there speaks volumes
They just wanted to take down dan
@@bluebaron6858they exposed the truth nobody cares about dan he was already black balled in Hollywood so there would be no point.
This is messed up. She was vulnerable and shared only to be disrespected and excluded from the panel discussion around how to change things is so wrong. And notifying her the day of she is in another episode means she probably had no idea what was included in that episode, how it was edited etc. smh
The documentary industry has a huge ethics problem we need to have a conversation about.
I feel like it was meant to have two perspectives on the panel female and male perspectives they were all co-stars. So I feel like it was meant to be a smaller discussion.
A lot of people are saying that about the documentary. The producers were shady AF.
The whole doc was shady.
The woman writer who pretended to be assaulted while pitching her idea but didn’t want to discuss her actions only Dan’s.
Drake waking up to be assaulting just to be like, “same time, same place next week” for god knows how many years.
The outraged parents 25 yrs too late.
What "lot of people"? Because I'm hearing the exact opposite from all other ppl involved in the documentary
@R0404 So you don't think that a lot of people could have differing opinions? The people I have spoken to and heard from think the producers were shady. Clearly, the people you heard from are the opposite. Not everyone will agree. It's simple.
Drake legit crying on interviews I've seen him in, I doubt he's faking it.
It was a Dan hit piece
I'm with Raquel on this. She should've been notified about the 5th episode further in advance and invited to the panel. I'm curious what was the conversation she and the producers had behind the scenes. Did they give a reason for excluding her and others from the panel?
You have an idea why she was excluded.
From this video it seems she didn't even know there was a panel until she saw it. She mentioned something about them failing to mention there would be a panel when they called to inform her she would be in another episode.
Does it matter? She wasn't obligated to be a part of that panel, nor did they owe it to her.
@@DavidKen878yes they did. They’re literally profiting off of her story and trauma. If there was ANY time someone would be obligated to include someone or owe someone it’s in this situation. And honestly they just owed her communication and they didn’t even do that.
From they way they narratoted this video it sounds like the 5th episode was not originally planned..im curious as to how much of a heads up the others got.
Never allow anyone to disrespect you..not even for a paycheck!
She was a good, she didn’t know any better !!
@@emayan06 guess she didn’t learn nothing from her time on Nick.
None of the people got paid to participate, it would have seemed like they were getting paid to spin a narrative. Alexa Nikolas (one of the child actors who participated) stated this
Also, they weren't paid for their participation.
But you can't back out of a contract
Spitting in her face??? And she just has to stand there and take it? RIDICULOUS!!! 😡😡Infuriating!!! 🤬🤬 Why it took them 3X for them to “talk to” Amanda Bynes is crazy! How did she not recognize the hurt and anger on he co-star’s face is just… heinous 🤯🤬🤯
I understand your position Raquel, and send you love, compassion, and some healing vibes ❤️❤️❤️
What do you think would've happened if Raquel had punched Amanda during that segment after getting spat on a 3rd time?
Art isn’t for softies
@omarcogle1965 ..what do u think r kelly would've done, or Michael Jackson? Diddy? Crosby? Chuck Berry? ... list goes on
She didn’t have to stand there and take it, none of those actors did. They made a choice to stay because fame was their end goal, not “outing the corrupt industry.”
Do you actually believe this lol
I did feel like it was odd how they showed a clip of Raquel right after a heartwarming discussion with Bryan and his mom. It felt out of place and weird to show it when Raquel wasn't even there to discuss it further.
Agreed
the spitting episode is just ick..the Union and child welfare should have been involved. Disturbing.
The union relies on the producers to pay into funding the union and the health plan. The union is there to collect money. They don’t protect the performer. The proof is how performers were left alone with Dan Schneider when parents should have been around to monitor what was going on set. It’s very apparent that Dan does not have kids because any parent would not have allowed a lot of that material on film.
I don't remember that episode either which is crazy
🫢 And we didn't believe Marc Summers... Poor Raquel, she deserved better, has all the right to be enfuriated
What did Marc Summers say?
@diana_prince_1 he said they did a bait and switch on him. He says they allegedly ambushed me and never told him what this documentary was really about.
@@Shaye.J That's interesting. I noticed that they showed Marc Summers in the beginning of the documentary. He did look confused to me, so I can see that. Thank you for replying.
@@Shaye.Joh yes Katrina Johnson also confirmed that was true about him being ambushed and her not knowing the full name of the docuseries.
@@jclyntoledo And also Alexa Nikolas I think
All media has a (biased) angle to push.
It’s good to expose truth and predatory people but most shows do not want to provide the truth without any personal bias.
My heart hurts for her. They treated her, and all of them, the exact same way these monsters did and served no change at all.
She’s not the only one, I think Kyle Sullivan should have been on the fifth episode as well
oh wow. what happened there?
You have pointed because he was the 1 who revealed the connection between Brian Peck and John Wayne Gacey
This is such an important topic and the producers are ruining it by behaving like this.
Because they are producers, they are not the active ones who want change. They are just looking for profit and this will make profit. We all want the dirt and tea, and this will give us that.
They did the same EXACT thing to Alexa Nikolas !!
.....when herrera threw alexa up against the rocks when the two of them weren't in view of the camera and then she came all out and act like it was all okay the moment the cameras were rolling?
i just can't believe.... how can liberals not get along with each other. How is this even possible. Unless dan is a hidden Libertarian (Independent).
was dan the one who wrote the Ross Perot sketches? was it out of admiration or out of a need to lampoon? or was it a combination of both?
Thats coz nothing happened to her hahaha, she was yelled at.. like we all are growing up by our teachers for example, I guess we're all tr@umatised lool
@@jadebel7006 lol bro watch her live and and she explained it in a interview it’s more to the story it’s not just being yelled at
@@jadebel7006nah hers was more then random yelling
I've watched a few of Alexa's videos and she's A LOT. Bullying her wasn't okay, obviously, but I'm not surprised that everyone seemed to find her annoying and oversensitive.
And then there's Matt Underwood claiming she was spreading rumours -- idk, two sides to every story.
Basically, it's exploit those who were exploited.
makes you wonder what that documentary team has in store for Drake Bell 😬
@@kamalasheiress4035 they're about to drag him fr. Forget it. He lost again.
I have no sympathy for Drake Bell whatsoever. None. What happened to him does not justify what he did as an adult. Don’t give me the “hurt people hurt people” line. I was never molested, only physically and emotionally abused, but I didn’t take my feelings about that out on people who had absolutely nothing to do with it whatsoever.
@@matthewa11 you're so right he's trying to get away with what he did and project
The irony
Never watched the show but she was so cute and turned out to be a beautiful young woman. Glad she spoke out. ❤
Her and Marc Summers are saying the same thing. Wow! 😮
Everyone needs to understand that when they say Hollywood is cutthroat, they aren't kidding!!!!! It's all of the dark things that you hear and it takes great risk if you want fame and fortune out of it
Kids shouldn’t be allowed in the industry. It attracts predators & bullies, and kids are vulnerable
By that logic, we should also close public schools. The theatre was my refuge from the physical and emotional abuse I got there, and that was not just from students.
This
It's weird that EVERYBODY complains about it, yet it never changes. I guess it's kinda like the victim of abuse who then goes on to abuse others. A vicious cycle.
@@mokahgirl5165Its not that weird. These studios, executives, producers etc take advantage of it. 1 shot at millions and/or fame? It's a 1 in a lifetime opportunity. Most people don't wanna mess that up and that's what's these studios bank on.
Why is everyone expecting ethical behavior from unethical networks having all their dirty laundry aired. They aren’t trying to be transparent to foster healthy behavior and policy change. They are trying to prevent bleeding out completely
I don't blame her for being done with acting. The industry can be too much for children and adults, and the producers should have included her in the 5th episode instead of leaving her out.
Non-animated movies should be banned after this.
You are aware making films more animated won't help, right? The original actress for Ducky in The Land Before Time was murdered by her family.

SMH. WOW. That is HORRIBLE. Looks like the QOS producers are proving to be no different from Dan Schnieder and others like him in Hollywood. They should've notified Raquel of the fifth episode and invited her to speak more about her experiences.
This happens every time they make a documentary on this subject. They say “this time we’re finally going to make change” but when do they?
My grandmother cried that she Heard that Amanda bynes spit in Raquel's face and that wasn't funny she deserves justice god bless you Raquel
Okay but she wasnt the only one that did an interview and wasnt apart of the panel, she deserves to be moticed and included,
Amanda was offer to be in the quiet on the set interview but she turn it down and refused to speak out the truth and she stays quiet like any other nickelodeon and disney stars.
Same with Alexa Nikolas. Well she was included but they cut a lot of her story. But for the nature of the doc it’s not possible to include everything. there’s sooo much more work to do & every survivor is entitled to their story
She bugging. They played a small clip in the 5th episode of a clip they jad already showed in a prior episode. And they called you to let you know it would be in there. Like...what are gou mad about? Seems like the issue she has is that she wasnt invited to the panel discussion because the whole thing about being in the 5th episode is a big nothing burger
You are deranged.
Now we gotta have a documentary about the behind the scenes of the documentary
This is unacceptable.... how dare they do that to her
Thank you for speaking out! 💔
You wouldn’t think that terrible thing’s were happening to those kid’s mainly because watching the show they are smiling joking and look happy but behind all of that they were really suffering I’ve never heard of so much BS that happen’s to actor’s and child actors until now it’s ridiculous and I’m sure there are more who may be afraid to come forward and that’s so sad
They did the same thing to Alexa Nikolas
Thats coz nothing happened to her hahaha, she was yelled at.. like we all are growing up by our teachers for example, I guess we're all tr@umatised lool
@@jadebel7006 It's not just that. That girl has been heavily bullied on set just for being too nice. Quiet On Set was shady to begin wit..you can tell they was jus wanting to push their bias narrative for their own personal selfish gain/reasons🙄

That’s crazy smh I’m very very sorry that happened ❤
i stand behind YOU RAQUEL!!!
Same thing Katrina Johnson said too. It was pretty much bar for bar
It’s weird how the ones that got the least amount of harm done to them have the most to say about literally nothing
They did the SAME Thing to Marc Summers, Have Them ZERO Shame.
Katrina Johnson said a similar story
I’m so glad I watched Marc’s podcast interview before I watched the docuseries. Put the whole doc into perspective for me.
My biggest takeaway is that they interview the women writers, and the one who pretended to be sodomized refuse to explain herself and the show still tried to paint her as a victim.
Why did she take part in it then?
Hmmm...Raquel knows how the industry treats its talent. Seems like she's been out the biz for a while. Which means she didn't have representation to go over her contracts, obligations, and expectations. That's why she was so surprised by the extra day she was going to be involved. I CANNOT believe the producers thought it was okay to have a panel when the wounds are still so fresh for a lot of the former child actors.
I’m kinda confused.
The same thing the industry always does the same thing! I tell my daughter it's the devil's playground 😬
Um, is everyone else on the panel except her?? I don't get it. If they told her she'd be on the panel then was removed, I could see that being a problem. But unless everyone except her was on the panel, I just don't see the problem 🤷🏽♀️ Am I missing something?
There were others not included, not just her. There were alot of child actors
@@3lttlbrds got it. That's what I thought. Thanks
Why would anyone agree to do a project that they “didn’t know what it was going to be about”?
When you're a kid you are naive, easily influenced, resilient, and lighthearted. You don't have the experience to know that you should be cautious, and especially when you look up to adults you think that you can trust what they are telling you is okay. Unfortunately, these young stars learned that the conditions they had endure on their television shows were dehumanizing, embarrassing, and just disrespectful for adults to ask you to perform. Besides the SA and the blatant inappropriateness, these child actors did not enjoy experiencing these things and looking back at it as adults, I'm sure they felt like they wished their caretakers had treated them with dignity, the same way if you witnessed your own children going through these things you'd be outraged! They are speaking up for their younger selves and advocating for any future child stars that are not mature enough to realize that Hollywood is a shark tank. They do not care about you, only about getting money for entertainment.
My son was an aspiring actor and because I was vocal about not putting him in comprising positions or not allowing him certain places with out protection he was looked over, what a blessing. I questioned a specific well known agent and she made it known she couldn’t stand me, not because I was rude or over bearing just because I would not force my son to do something he was not comfortable with at 12…
I am so thankful to all of you who have spoken out
Let her hate. She is trash too. The business has gone to the dumps now. When AI start taking over, they are going to wish they didn't treat talent this way. You are a good mom. You did right. It's not worth it. The fame isn't worth it.
@@TheDumontShow thank you! Other moms in the business would tell me I should be willing to do anything to make him famous I kinda found that a bit disgusting, I just wanted him to be a kid… thank you for your support.

They should make a docuseries about the docuseries called, “Quieter”
they did that to the guy who hosted Double Dare like that he said they asked him to do an interview and then did a 180 on him and changed everything up so he walked out and left. He said he wasn't gonna do it. I feel like this documentary is a bunch of BS. to some degree
besides the very very obvious situation with brian peck and drake bell. hopefully any more of those allegations AREN'T true. hopefully
@magnostadt341 What do you mean by that?
They wanted the doc to be more scandalous than it was. Really it seemed like they just wanted to rehab Drake Bell's image.
What was it called
Smh. These producers are awful. It's not ok to be misled.
It sucks that she wasn't brought back but if I were her I would be more thankful that more people know about the terrible work environment.

I don’t get it. Do the scripts not say what a character is going to do ahead of time? If you know your character is spit on shouldnt you address it ahead of filming?
Exactly. There was so much self-victimization in that documentary.
That’s so 😢u speaking your truth
You’ve got big dreams? You want fame? Well, fame costs. And right here in Hollyweird is where you start paying … in all manner of evil....
I'll be curious to see what Alexa Nikolas thinks of Bolleau's criticisms of Quiet on Set.
Omg I remember her on the show
How dare they not invite her 🤬.
My take is that they wanted to use the footage and knew she wouldn't want that. They did it anyways because it attracts viewership. Of course they don't care about the psychological trauma, they just want to shock everyone. Drake seems to be struggling every time he's in an interview, and the others too. It's just too much for some.
I feel this
Stay strong Sis❤❤❤❤❤❤
Okay so she’s offended for not being invited????? Okay…😂 also she’s a grown woman, why take to tik tok to let off steam???? So petty
Shes doing too much, she's triggered but who says there wont be a 6th episode or a second season where she can continue to participate in?
Hollywood always have such producers who do not want to channel their communication to other actors who are not the lead actors or the starring actors or are not white. Their aim is to validate that outside actors are merely an entourage of their hard work and so they smear these outside actors to be hard to get them into the studio or hard to get them speak all the lines in the script. This is their way of showing "Oh ive tried working with a foreign or black actor and it is so hard, they come late and do not have their full script ready to make the take." And so it begins the narrative. And it goes all the way to Broadway selling this narrative so they can control the producers interest; which is to have his/her say in everything. Why do you see all of a sudden actual actors who are putting their money into film production they immediately want the Executive Producer or Producer slot. Because they know what power that position holds. You are the runner of the show; so your idealism is to make everyone do as the Executive Producer or Producer says. Meanwhile the BLM will use the worn off tactic of claiming "It is racism" when the truth is it is a power dynamic.
She's just mad she didn't get more screen time. Half of the interviewees were clearly scorned for being fired/not having become famous.
I get Raquel was upset that they didn't invite her on the panel, but tbh the whole panel/5th episode didnt really show anything special other than the clip of her. I feel like we should just be glad that all this BS about Dan Schneider's Nickelodeon run is coming out, because more than likely we'll never see another like him.
Why do these expose pieces have a habit of being a double edged sword?
Not sure it was really feasible for every single person they interviewed to be on the live panel. And I guess it would have been nice for them to tell her sooner she was in the 5th episode but it was still something she willingly shared with them. IDK but this doesn't seem like that big a deal.
Well also it didn’t happen to you
@@brianapotts1407 of course, but then it's kind of incumbent on her to explain why we as the public should be mad at the doc's producers other than "they should have told me sooner I was in ep5, and they left me (along with several other former child actors that were interviewed) out of this panel I wish I could have been on." The producers have probably had a lot on their plates since this doc has created such overwhelming media furor.
@@brianapotts1407Agreed. She has every right to be upset. It’s her life and her story, she should have been included.
Raquel's story is different simply because Amanda was especially close with Dan Schneider-and he allowed that kind of behavior on the set of one of his shows. Raquel used her right to tell her story-the producers of “Quiet on Set” had an obligation to tell her which episodes she would appear in & invite her to be part of the panel since she was featured in multiple episodes.
@@dw1419They had enough time to add an extra episode to a 4-part documentary.
They did the same thing to so many people being interviewed, including Mark Summers. They like threw it on them what the Documentary was even about
It’s crazy because Katrina (part of season 1 of All that) kind of said the same thing. She didn’t know that it was going to be like it was. She didn’t want to go on there bashing Dan because she didn’t have the experience others had. So initially she passed then ended up doing it anyways I forgot whybut she was interviewed by one of the guys from Wildin Out. He has a podcast.
*Wow, these Quiet On Set producers are very distasteful.*
This is so sad. This is a result of when parents fail their children. She should have never been put in these spaces without a parent or guardian around at all times. This goes for ALL children in the industry.
Even documentaries are not perfect.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I think this is more about her ego rather than the topic. Just because they didn’t pick her for the panel discussion doesn’t mean they were not focused on making a change some people get picked for certain things and others don’t.
True
This sounds more like trauma than a real problem with the documentary.
🎯💯 that part
Why I didn’t invest time into the series! I feel for them, I am their same age and grew up watching them grow on tv! They deserve to be heard and continue to heal. However, it didn’t sit right with me how all these “adults” that were writers and producers share their story like they went through it, but I’m sorry THESE ARE KIDS! Yall being grown writing and sitting back watching these skits/shows and collecting a check then upset they got “mistreated”…even when people “expose” things about Hollywood it’s a narrative and a reason behind it, and it’s never for the justice of a person. Otherwise, no shadiness would be involved what so ever.
Shes so pretty i remember her ❤
Why didn't YOU ask????
This is crazy. Was Drake manipulated into being in this docu?? He seems to be struggling a lot right now, and I feel really bad for him. It’s like he was forced to share his story. None of this seemed authentic.
There should have been a therapy program for them from the profits of this documentary.
My thing is how do you join a documentary without "knowing what type of documentary your going to be a part of"? Like taking a random shot of alcohol from a bar table and being surprised when its roofied. At least you knew it was alcohol?
The doc as a whole seemed bias in the story retellings. For 5 hours of content, only about a hour of non repetitive actual info/stories. And then 2 eps of Drake (a music video, and more publicity marketing) I wouldve liked to hear more of her story and wish they didn't dismiss her like that.
Same reason she didn't to film herself having that meltdown: for attention.
How did they dismiss her?
Whoever is narrating this video needs to be fired
Now E! News is also taking advantage of her as they report how Quiet on Set took advantage of her. That’s wild! They could have AT LEAST told us what businesses she focused on so she could have gained something,
what is she so mad about? not getting 15 more minutes of fame? you shared your story, now move toward healing. this just comes off as wanting more screen-time
I don’t know her, I never watched the show, but she wants to move on with her life, not reviving bad memories.
You’re probably a gen z. Gosh you guys are clueless

@@africanodyssey4805 Gen Alpha at the most are 12 years old currently, being born after 2012, whilst half the Gen Zs (born 1997 - 2012) are still in their teen years. The early Gen Zs likely would've experienced the shows (All That and Amanda Show) through syndication and are more familiar with Drake and Josh.

Man i had hope for a second. Shes just mad that she didnt collect another check.
Honestly, I feel like Quiet on the Set was created to make Drake Bell look better. Yes, he was also a victim, but he was involved with a minor, too. I understand that a lot of victims go on to victimize others. However, he was well into his 30s when it happened and knew right from wrong. I just found it odd how there was so much focus put on him. Then he comes out with a new song and MV once Quiet on the Set came out. It's obvious all of the other victims were treated as an afterthought and were just there to make it seem like they cared about what happened to the other kids. I'm glad she spoke up.
I'm glad she spoke up too, but Drake was just as used for click bait as well to hype it up because he had a legitimate court case from his time with Nick, and because no one knew the involved kid, it makes juicy headlines to finally know. Also he was charged with talking to a minor, he did not do anything to her and cut ties once he found out her age, because she was the one lying and trying to get close to him. He's done interviews to talk about how the technicalities of the system gave him only two options, plead not guilty, face a longer case and possibly a longer punishment without watching his son grow up OR take the charge so he can be with his family. He's guilty of speaking to the minor, not guilty of anything perverse. Context really matters and its so easy in the media to slander anyone. His song is his testimony and promise to be a better human. Only time will tell when it comes to people's sincerity though, but I do recommend watching his interviews on the charges he faced.
I remember showing my mom that episode. She was like there’s no way she was okay with that scene. Kids on tv these days, smh
Stop lying. No you didn't.
When I watched the documentary I felt like they didn't show enough of her story. It was like 5 minutes if that. It was too short its not fair. And it's obvious race has a huge part to do with this whether people wanna admit it or not. She didn't get enough recognition.
What are some of her businesses? I would love to support her!
Oh lord, why did they handle such a sensitive situation this way?
The scorpion stung the frog… who else is shocked really?
wow amanda bynes 😠
She only did that because that was what the script called for her to do. Blame the writers and producers, not her. If Amanda doesn’t want to talk to the makers of this documentary, can you blame her if this is how they treated one of her costars?
I had noticed many docuseries are like this, it’s just a bunch of people talking for actors, these shows have one goal and it’s to HATE. They are literally just acting like a gossip magazine, especially with twisting words to fit a different narrative, so it’s weird that people are falling for it.
So this doesn’t really surprise me other shows talking about a TV shows issue are all the same, in the end it all feels bogus.
