    Some of these games were also released in PAL territories but are not listed as such. Like Samurai Shodown which was released in Europe, and Fatal Fury 2 which was not released in Europe BUT was released in Australia which also uses the PAL system and is compatible with ALL european consoles. I literally own both games for my PAL console here in Portugal.

    • @originalm3233
      @originalm3233 Před rokem

      The main thing holding the ports back from the 90s was the amount of rom space that developers/publishers wanted to purchase. The more megs a rom cart had, the lower the profit margins in most cases. If the Real Bout port is being developed with the same rom cart sizes from the 90s then great. If not, then it is not truly comparable. More frames of animation and better looking games become possible on older systems when rom sizes increase. Some of these retro devs even put custom chips on the carts themselves to increase processing beyond the main CPU. Sure, some SNES games had super fx chips, and some Konami games had custom chips on the NES carts, but retrofitting 2020s technology onto 30 year old systems is again, not a fair comparison of "what could have been possible in the 90s".

    This isn't really an excuse when you look at the console's other FG ports. It's clear that Midwest Studio didn't have knowledge of FG development, prioritizing the graphics being source-accurate over polishing the gameplay. It would definitely be higher placed if it was licensed to the dudes behind the Fatal Fury ports or even Sunsoft who did a real number on the SNES port.

    Me parece curioso que en el caso de fatal fury paso lo mismo que Mortal Kombat. El primer Mortal Kombat superó con creces al de super Nintendo sin censura ni nada, pero con Morral Kombat 2 fue al revés, el de super Nintendo superó al de SEGA, aquí el primer fatal fury es mejor en Sega que en super Nintendo, además respeto eso de que usaba dos planos el de enfrente y el de atrás, después todo se fue al carajo con fatal fury 2. El primer fatal fury de SNES no es malo de hecho es bueno pero no como el Sega y no tenía lo que dije que no manejaba los dos planos.
    Respecto a Samurai shadow, aquí si tengo que reconocer que su superó por mucho la versión de SNES, los Sprites todos chiquitos los de antes bien por allá 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣👎 mientras que el de Sega se ve lo más cercano al arcade posible, además creo que conserva la sangre.
