@@704outdoors good man, thank you
Hi mate ,not sure if it helps but, I got my novix echo sent to Australia, I shopped through Lancaster archery
Had both and sold both because I went with their no longer sold Lone Wolf Assault 2. I had a couple of the original LW Assaults years ago but the seats were a little small. I suppose if you’re not accustomed to the OG Lone Wolf Assault’s perfect size of 26” X 19.5” (front corner to corner) the Helo is big enough, but it’s still hard to believe they couldn’t get the weight down anymore for such a small stand. And I’ll pass on cocking a Xbow on such a small platform. Anyhow, I totally agree, the only downside of the Echo is like the man basically said, it’s a little big for quietly navigating thicker areas if you hang and hunt. Crazy the tiny Helo only weighs 1.7 lbs less, though. If I was to buy another stand for hang and hunt now I’d just pay a little more and go with the XOP Cold World, even if it is made in China.
Isn’t the assault 2 the same thing as the helo?
@@seabass22 same seat and bracket but the for the pound and a half in weight savings with the Helo you lose the built in bow holder of the Lone Wolf Assault 2 and 3” in platform width. Used to be a lot of stands were about 19.5” wide out front but the mobile hunting craze has changed things. The full size Novix Echo is the same width as my Assault 2 but obviously longer and not tapered near as much. I didn’t really notice how much narrower my Helo was until stepping into it 15’ up in low light. Then I noticed I didn’t have nearly as big a spot to step onto the stand and navigate the cables.
@@davidrussell631 oh okay I thought the novix stands were just rebranded lone wolf stands
@@seabass22 that’s understandable since it’s the same manufacturer, and the Novix Echo is the same platform as the Lone Wolf Alpha 2 with the exception that it also lacks the bow holder in the platform center.
Can a 300 pound man hunt in one and be comfortable
Seat size and platform strength wise, either, but boot size will be a factor for comfort in the Helo. I only wear a size 11 and while the Echo has extra room the Helo felt tiny.
I'm 285-290 and love it!
