RE Goblin farming, I've never done this for the diamond unlock, but in the last two seasons I've found gem goblins really early (then struggled to kill them), this was at L14/15 last season. Fingers crossed. I may do the Necro start to L18 again. It was fun the last time I did it, don't often play Necro. Was my favourite in D2 though.

@ 24:35 you mentioned putting Messerschmit's in the cube. Demon Hunters can't use Messerschmit's and therefore cant use it in the cube (they can extract it though). I'm on PS4, so maybe PC users can, IDK.
This is my first new season, so I'm a tad excited to see what I get as I progress, knowing how this game works. I only got around to playing half of the cast, so I don't know if I want to play a previously unplayed character or a character I'm already familiar with.

Is the necro really strong enough to get all the 3 bags(without opening them), then switch to another class and open them on that char? have never really played necro before.
Yes, use corpse explosion. But I will be doing an Asia play through (at least to 70) and I might complete the Journey so you can play along and watch what to do
As a legit new player to the Diablo series and have finally played Diablo 3 on my switch for maybe 3weeks now max, I have to say in my opinion the monk class is by for the most user friendly and fun to pick. I kept the main idea of a "Bruce Lee" build and evolved from there. You start off with fists of fury and who wouldn't want that? 😂 I eventually kept the "fists" build with electricity added in and had a great experience till the end game. As a bonus, dual wielding daggers works the same as a fist/knuckles weapon so it widens your gear grind criteria instead of hunting a particular weapon or specific type. 💚🤘💯🔥

There's not much point in saving the challenge rift bag for late game, get it and use it asap, you can level all crafters to max and extract powers. Far more beneficial in early game.
You'd have to farm up the pieces as you start with Helltooth. I think fastest would be make a necro, do the season journey and collect bags on the DH. Play Multishot and that should do it all pretty fast
what graphics settings do you run at to get this game looking smooth. I've tried a lot of things and while my fps stays stable I get micro stutters all the time.
For the T16 Starter for Wizard, it looks like you dropped Mempo. Is that intentional? Also, trying to decide between necro and wizard...I think both are interesting choices for the theme. Cue the Jeopardy theme song 😀
No, that's a mistake. It should be there ahead of Smoldering core and goldwrap. With a Rorg you can fit all that in, but without I guess goldwrap goes out and Karini comes in the ring slot - will fix in the slides
I started Necro and leveled to17 this season and used the cache. I played more than expected , and had to wait 2 days for new cache😊 Not a huge problem, but if I play all weekend in season 31 I will not use the cache I think. The lack of mats though, will we be able to take full adtvantage of the level 70 gear node?
I can't decide what class to play in S31. Prob Necro just to get to 70 quickly, but after that I'm not sure. I'm leaning towards a LOD/LON build on whatever class it is, as I've never really done much with one of those outside of the occasional season conquest.
I got lucky. Made my character and first thing I did was run for the cube trying to get as little levels I could. Ran into a goblin pylon, cant remember what they're called. Killed a gem goblin and any others I could, unlocked the first 2 nodes then flew to 70.
Necro and stay for me, 800-1200% damage increase no theme comes close! Always love the leveling process with Necro but always switch it out will be nice to just stay albeit slower speeds for a bit than most other classes.
As a test right now. I did a fresh wiz hard diff.get to kulle. First get follower weapon ofc. Killed kulle and got gem. Salvage and get 3 gems. Wrong gem.restart with new char. 5th try i got diamonds. Guess i was Lucky. But i will try that strategy on next friday. Did wiz bc of lvl2 skill. Easy peasy
Season 30 i startet not use c Bag and literally only played visions i didnt even cared about the starter set because you get all shit so fast in visions. WD is fast in leveling also. Make a 70 two hander and the screen dies :) but in general you only need to take classes which can benefit from the open cube
I think I'm going to save my shards on dh till 31 I think it is and try to get the hungering arrow quiver. It will make it so much easier to do the gr20 even with UE 4 piece
Bugger, cheers for the reply mate, I’m thinking necro LOD start to complete the season journey then swap over to wizard Tal once my LOD necro starts running out of puff. Once I’ve levelled the LOD gem with tal rasha, swap back to necro until the D4 season starts
There will be some options...Bone Spear, Corpse Explosion, possibly even Nova. Probably not with the clear speed and ease of GoD but without PTR to test it's a bit of guess work
its there a thing if you finish the journey on soft but you want to use the reward on hc you need to do one thing on hc to get the reward? coz once i did it and wasnt able to collect the reward

No need to rush to T16. The only fun part left in this game is leveling up. Ones you hit T16 it's countless hours of farming gear and for what? Competing against fully stacked primal gear bots doing 6 to 8000 paras / month? Well, have fun!
There was a different theme that added a 4th cube slot, so the normal three (weapon, armour and jewellery) with the fourth being anything you like This season is different, it’s 3 slots but anything can go in them 👍🏻

Yeah, it implies slightly that the soul shards are staying, but I think it's just to fix a bug or two for the next time the theme rolls around

.. and also, the storm shield isn't really good without the ring, so ye, 80% dmg reduction when put in cube, far superior to the belt

I dont think I have ever finished a season in diablo 3 or have "really good gear" in the last 9 years and have never gotten to the whimsical shire.
If you cube say the novalord set (cube both the weapon and shield) do you get the 2 piece bonus?and by doing that can you trick your LOD gem?
