  • Over the past few years, astronomers have discovered their own kind of UFO called Odd Radio Circles, aka ORCs. They're a little too round, and a little too invisible at non-radio wavelengths, to immediately know what they are and what's causing them.

      Odd Radio Ellipses. Shortly before OREs, he mentioned that if these spheres weren't perfectly round, we would see ellipses much more frequently, which would be OREs but we don't. Therefore we have ORCs. @4:20 Here's where he mentioned an elipse. Says scientists think they're too darn round but not one has been an elipse.

  • @dupersuper1938

    Clearly these galaxies have galactic barriers protecting them, like the one the Progenitors created to protect us from a powerful dark matter being and the Q later reinforced to protect us from O. Any Star Trek novel reader could deduce that.

  • @waverod9275
    @waverod9275 Před rokem +5

    Wormholes would be the awesome answer, but from what I can tell, it comes down to 1) These are circular, and wormhole mouths would likely appear circular and 2) We don't know what these are, and we have no idea how to build a real existing wormhole, if it is even possible. But to be honest, two mysteries are not ipso facto to be united.

    • @xzilinov
      @xzilinov Před rokem

      @waverod9275 Před rokem +1

      @@xzilinov pretty much. Yeah, it's great if we can explain two things at once, but this hypothesis is basically trying to explain one mystery with another.

    • @stormtempterf8058
      @stormtempterf8058 Před rokem

      I'd like to think that wormholes wouldn't be holes as much as just spheres, and you can come out from any part of the surface, since its a 3d projection from a 4d object

  • @Tinil0
    @Tinil0 Před rokem +1

    Luckily astronomy is freaking chock full of terms that were originally just a description of an unexplained phenomenom or class of object we don't understand and yet we kept the name even when it makes no sense (eg Quasars, Planetary Nebulae...Uh, Nebulae as a whole...) so I think we can definitely keep ORCs even once we understand them.
