@Jeff Lee no matter quality of engine. Probably the previous owner of this Lexus barely changed oil each 20,000 miles. Don't mind your mustang would look better with such maintenance, this is the point.

@Jeff Lee I couldn't help but laugh when I read your comments. You don't even know why the engine here was leaking? Its seals/gaskets were not changed when needed. If your Mustang's engine was let go for several years with bad seals and gaskets it would be similarly filthy...
I'm seeing hints of really unintelligent suggestions of nationalism from you. Do you really think your engine could outlast a 1UZ?

It is a Picaso of engineering marvel. Unbelievable how so far advanced they are over American engine builders. I never seen a stock motor so engineered not an inch of dead space. Mind blowing.

Those are meaty sleeves in there too. Be worth bumping it up .040 for a bit more umph! But machine work and new pistons are costly. Overall great job Riley. this engine failed due to blow by. its the main reason for all the oil in the top of the engine and some of the carbon buildup in the intake ports going to the cylinders and beyond.
early in the video you see some replaced breather hose thats collapsed partially from whats exposed. its on the valve cover before he takes it off. im willing to bet thats a big chunk of why it decided to start pressurizing the crank case. and eventually lead to the failure. ive seen that cause big failures so many times over the years and its a shame.

mine is leaking from who knows where. owner told me to look into it but that was all that was wrong with mine, well serviced and kept but was repainted and lost its two tone, still looks great tho. its coming from the front of the engine most definitely and drips down the fan to the cs, to oil pan then spews it all out from underneath. ive been trying to research and looked countless times even cleaning it over and over to better indicate where its coming from, but idk lol. havent had much issues at all with the car other than a fan switch going out.
