- Angel loves watching the different colors on the screen. Whether it’s a movie or it’s anime, she can’t get enough. Sometimes she’ll even try and eat the characters because she thinks they’re bugs. But when Emily found her, she was in terrible shape. Emily nursed her back to health and gave her the confidence to be the most beautiful toad in the world. Now they get along like any other pet and she couldn’t imagine her life without her

Which show do you think Angel could binge-watch? 🐸
Something on Animal Planet??
Program about zoos
Lord of the Flies, Firefly, BeetleJuice (movie and animated series), Big Bad Beetleborgs, A Bugs Life, Street Frogs, The Frog Prince, The Fly (1986), Them (1984) and Antz (1998). I can think of more bug and frog/toad related T.V. and movies but it will do for awhile.
Definitely a nature show showing bugs
Futurama (hypnotoad)
Who would have ever thought a toad would make a loving, affectionate pet?! Bless
Mammals, birds, most reptiles, and some amphibians will typically respond well to socialization with humans. Some fish and cephalopods, too.
I never dreamed I would ever think of a toad as pretty, cute or sweet, but here we are.
Emily you are not weird you are one of a kind. You just keep being you and saving animals. In my book you are one of the great ones.
This is insane!!! One good thing about social media is unveiling animal intelligence and behaviour, we have never known about. As an animal love, I am so enjoying this window into their sassy silly human like kingdom!! What a cutie!
Yep, the evidence is undeniable that they are, practically all intelligent, can communicate and are as conscious as we are.
Had arguments with some “biologist’s” who still refuse to think so. It’s no wonder people don’t like science any more.
It's incredible, isn't it? Animals like Angel show us just how fascinating and full of personality they can be. Thanks for enjoying their stories with us! 😊
It is FASCINATING! I now want one of every animal lol lol & I'm SOOOOO glad I became a vegetarian in 1994 @ age 14! ❤❤❤
I'm sure Emily one day will kiss Angel and found out he's a Prince
Angel is a female
Angel is one lucky toad!! THANK YOU for saving her, Emily!! Loved seeing her watching the movie and trying to eat what she thought was a bug!😂 You found a WONDERFUL CUDDLE BUDDY WHEN YOU SAVED ANGEL!!💯👆🐸😇🥰🐸😂🎉❤
Thank you so much! Angel truly brings so much joy. We're grateful for your support and love for her story! 🐸😇🥰
I had a pet toad named Roxy for 12 years. They actually do make really good pets! I miss her 😔
Whoa they live a while!
She's absolutely precious... I always played with the toads in my backyard when I lived in my native Florida. I loved them. We had a neighbor that fed them dog food....they loved it.
That's wonderful! Toads can be such playful and lovable creatures. It sounds like you had some great times with them in Florida! 🐸💕
@@CuddleBuddiesChannel Yes and they were WAY BIG in Florida just like mosquitoes ! But I loved the Toads not the mosquitoes. Toads were my sweet babies.
Animals that are rescued, never forget !! Then they spend the rest of their lives showing their gratitude and love !!
Angel looks happy and content and in excellent health. We have rescued wildlife before and they would always let us know when they are ready to resume their original life. Angel looks secure with you, thank you for rescuing her❤
She does I'm so surprised with toad response. I found frog side of cycle pavement in woods but pavement exposed to the hot sun. And I bent down the frog came to me which I was really surprised. I picked up , I could sense water was other side as temperature dropped that side but it was overgrowth of foliage and woodland. So I took across and slowly got self down from my hands and went off in to the overgrowth. It didn't look hurt and looked healthy so hopefully was okay. But I was surprised that the frog came to me when bent down and sat at edge of my shoe.
I love the wonderful relationship you have with Angel! She is adorable.
This little story reminds me of my daughter ❤. She loves little wildlife creatures, especially toadies 💞. She has a natural talent in finding them, she is also very kind and gentle with the ones she finds in the neighborhood. She catches them and let's them go back in the woods. I have a soft spot for toads as well and can watch this video over and over again 😊
Really sweet! All animals are intelligent and loving.
So blessed these two are to have a relationship with each other. Amazing!
🤧 aww she's so gorgeous, bless you for saving her and giving her a terrific forever home, cracking good video thanks for sharing 🖤😎👍
Thank you so much! Angel is indeed a beauty, and we're glad you enjoyed the video. Your support means a lot to us! 🖤
Angel likes what she sees on screen!! I wonder if Emily bought Angel The Hit Disney Movie The Princess And The Frog!! That Would DEFINITELY Suit Her Tastes!!😊❤
Or "Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars" fantastic series.
@sector150 Pretty Good Also!! Thank You for sharing another title with me!!
That would be so cute! Angel does have a knack for enjoying what's on the screen. 😊❤️
@CuddleBuddiesChannel You Are Sure Right About That!! Angel Is ONE SMART TOAD FROG!!❤😊
Oh my goodness she is so stinking cute!! Who would have thought that a toad could be so sweet and attentive!?? And what a sweet girl her mom is 🥰
Thank you so much! Angel really is a special toad, and her bond with Emily is heartwarming. Your kind words mean a lot! 🥰
What a joy! Each and every creature is wonderful!
Bless them both. ❤❤❤
Toads are awesome. Thank you for rescuing her.

You love what you love. That's right! I am always careful around my property with the toads and lizards. They are akways welcomed and appreciated. Good job!

Finally, an animal video where the carpet is not a disgusting cesspool 😅
Amazingly sweet story, so cute
adorable.
Wonderful, thank you for taking care of her & allowing her into your life. I used to have a couple of bullfrogs swim in my pool. They would let me hold them in my hand, & bump me to get my attention. Loved swimming with them, have not seen any this year, where are they?
Thank you! It sounds like you had some amazing experiences with bullfrogs in your pool. They might be hibernating or seeking new habitats nearby. Hopefully, they'll return soon! 🐸
Angel is so cute I didn't expect that a toad could be so loving towards you ❤❤❤❤ 🐸🐸🐸🐸
Wow! I love how different that was from the norm. Angel is absolutely precious, I love her 😍🤗😘🥰❤️

Thank you so much for saving sweet little Angel!
She is adorable. Just an amazing and smart little girl.
I think you should definitely keep her you 2 need each other.
You are very kind sweet caring person to save her and care about her.
Most people would have been so cold-hearted I don't think they would have done anything to help her.
They would have let her die.
You saved her life!
You never know if she made need medical help again.
So definitely keep her and do more CZcams videos with her.
She is bonded with you and dependent on you.
Please do some more videos with her.
I would love to see themon CZcams!
I don't do social media so CZcams would be the only way I could see her please please please please more videos

I think frogs and toads are some of my favorite critters. I currently have some tadpoles in my backyard that I check on every day. She's a character alright! So cute!
That's awesome! Tadpoles are fascinating to watch as they grow. Angel sure is a character, and it's great to hear you enjoy frogs and toads too! 🐸😊
@@CuddleBuddiesChannel I had no idea that they took so long to develop. It is fascinating!

Bud-weis-errrrrr. Two weeks ago, a large toad snuck into my bedroom and hid under my bed. I thought it was a pile of dust bunnies.
What did you do with it?

Okay, now I want a frog!💖
Toads and frogs are very social animals, we used to have small water frogs when I was young, funniest part was, they mistook Formula 1 sounds for frog sounds and tried to communicate with them, when F1 was on TV. My dad and I had several non-traditional animals, like an indoor chicken that he trained to sleep on her back, semi-domesticated sparrows, a praying mantis, we regularly hatched eggs and coccoons of big bugs we found, a huge Turkey at my grandmas, who was very vain, yeah, my childhood was quite fun
Wow, that sounds like such a fun and unique childhood! It must have been amazing growing up with all those different animals and experiences. 😄
Muchísimas gracias por tener a Angel como un bebé. Un abrazo para tí y besitos para la bebé desde Catalonia.
What a great channel!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, I had no idea that Toad's were so affectionate, and so very smart. You can tell that Angel knows her name. ❤
I stared at this video until I realized I was watching…Hypno-Toad
Shes trying to leave.
Your video is my Favorite Toadie Video! You're the only one I've seen who has experienced the BOND! They say toads aren't communal yet they sleep in nests together in masses up to 5,000. And AI was developed on a study of toad attention. Your toadie is so cute❣️ I had 3 male European Green Toads, Reckon the oldest/largest, Druthers the middle/medium sized and Ain't the youngest/smallest. They listen to the words I use and DO understand. They learned Come-ere, Gitt-em (for their bugs), Sit (to sit, usually when I brought them to their water bowl “pond“, and other words and phrases. Every night their tank was recked, like they partied all night. Drothers always slept on top of Reckon, they were bonded. But Druthers and Ain't loved swimming together. Druthers was fun loving and friendly, they all were loving toward each other, never competitive or fought. Ain't was the darkest colored even on light terrain. They changed color slightly depending on the terrain they were on. Ain't was kind of a loner, he usually slept separately even when he slept in the same pot. Well, Druthers began to bond with me. Every time he could see me he came to the glass, jumping and following. I had set up a wyze cam when I first got them but since they were pre-teens then, there wasn't much action day or night. But once they began learning to sing, things changed. They were active a lot. Druthers and Ain't were climbers, Druthers was a dare-devil jumper and I had to remove things and remember to keep the lid closed. Druthers was loving the water so much that I put in a larger swimming container, added rocks outside like steps to get in and rocks inside on one side like a ledge so he'd have plenty of room to swim and dive. It was only a half gallon square topless container. He was loving it! I started noticing him trying to push the rocks to wriggle behind them, I didn't want him getting stuck so I changed out for safer rocks. Still, he had a fascination for small nooks, but I hadn't been checking the wyze cam. I again made it safer and felt sure what was heavy was too heavy to push his way behind and what was lighter was within his strength for sure to get loose from. He was leaping in and out, showing off for me, chirping at me, staring at me... I...loved...him...so...very...MUCH! Much more than I realized. He played with me as my hand swam and splashed with him in his pond, I petted him...he LOVED me!! That night I was up late with him, I was so tired but felt sad to go to bed and watched him sitting alone in his water watching me leave for bed. I thought of his obsession with the nooks but felt sure it would be safe, I'd put a light weight artificial plant on his rocks so he had a place to get under something and satisfied his craving. In the morning, I found everything just as it was when I left him except his plant was tipped over. Everyone seemed to have gone to bed without partying. So I decided to clean their pond. I started taking out the rocks and when I took out the last large one, I saw Druthers drowned. I picked him up and was devistated, weeping so hard and so long. I felt so bad. I should have removed all the rocks but wanted him to have a way to climb out. I wanted him to have more of what he loved so much. After I could stomach doing so, I checked the wyze cam, the night he died, he kept looking for a nook under water. He got behind the heavy rock, was able to move around but wasn't able to get to the surface in time due to the squirming he had to do and got tired from. He stopped to rest between attempts but was low on oxygen and fatigued and rested until he passed away. Recon had been sitting on the side of the pond watching Druthers diving and looking for nooks. When Druthers hadn't come up in a while, Reckon turned, looked straight through the container where he had last seen Druthers. Then Reckon walked around the pond to the exact place where he could see Druthers through the plastic and stared at him for a few minutes. He turned, walked up the rock steps to the top of the pond, put his left hand into the water, waited for a minute, took it out and stuck it in again for another minute as if checking for a sign of life, then turned, went down the rock steps and straight to bed. Reckon and Ain't have been very inactive ever since. They eat but they use the smaller pond I put back for safety very briefly and show very little activity at night ever since. I reviewed the nights prior for several days and realized his obsession with tight spaces was becoming more and more. He had on previous occasions got stuck in other spots between the light rocks and had freed himself just in time a few times. He probably would have done this even in the wild, get himself stuck between some roots under water... ?💔?💔? He had once knocked himself out cold trying to jump onto the top of their pot (their toadie bed). He did so many dangerous things. I miss him everyday. I think of him as a fearless teenager that tragically lost his life due to lack of fear. I'm almost 60. It calls to my mind my own teen fearlessness and curiosities that could have taken my life and how thankful it makes me to have survived my own recklessness. I hope to bond with one of the toadies I have left but Ain't ain't havin' any yet and Reckon just goes back to bed. I plan to add a couple new boys this summer/fall and bring new life to my toadie squad. Only toadie safe, plain old PLAIN, flat, safe stuff, nothing they can squeeze in, behind or under. I love them so very much!!! This breed is so gentle, so easy going, so loving to each other, not competitive and OMG...So Very Smart!!! Reckon taught me howsmart toads are and how much they feel for each other! I hope you don't mind this long comment/story. If you do, I'll understand if you remove it. Thank you so much for sharing your experience of your relationship with your Sweet lil' Angel!!!
Kewl!
Small animals like screen time
If the sound of the croaking coming from that toad sounds familiar, it is because this is taken from a soundtrack that Hollywood producers recorded long ago taken of the California Pacific tree frog. This is the most commonly used sound that people seem toexpect from a frog, or in this case a toad.

Hypno-Toad
I used to see a toad on the walkway in our courtyard at work. I would always bend down, gently pick it up and place it away from where people walked. It wasn't until a co-worker saw me do it that I was told that even when I wasn't there that toad would be in the same spot every night.
Thank you for sharing your story! It sounds like that toad found a safe spot thanks to your kindness. 😊

😈🔱👿...cute story.. Show her bugs walking on your laptop... 😳... FOOD 😂... Im inclined to say wild animals should be free.. But you seem to lov her and im sure she has a good life... So i say..enjoy the time you have together..we all need friends even if its a girl and a toad 🤗
Haha, thank you! Angel definitely has a unique way of showing her love for "bugs." We appreciate your understanding and support for Angel and Emily's bond! 🤗
