    Anime decks are literally the only ones I can watch play the meta feels so basic and lame then you have DDD full of actual boards that take a brain to construct and it makes things a lot more exciting to see

    Really clean replays as always Taro, also that is really nice pacing between the animations!

    Another banger of a video bro, love the Gregory Helms reference, too clean. Also masterfully played vs Snake-Eyes and Ninjas.

      i could have played better vs ninja but I was reading them on the fly. Rogue vs Rogue is tough!

    Now, these are replays. Non-stop back and forth instead of one-sided.

    6:12 As a Ninja Player it pains me to see a misplay of the Ninja pilot here.
    Ninjutsu Art of Duplication summons Ninja monsters from deck WITH LEVELS UP TO THE LEVEL of the TRIBUTED Ninja.
    He should've set "Jioh, the Gravity Ninja" with "Ninjutsu Art Notebook of Mystery" since it's a level 8, allowing him to summon: 1 Tobari (Face-up attack), 1 Mitsu (Face-up Attack), 1 Green Ninja (Face-Down Defense), and possibly another Tobari (but Face-Down) OR Baku (to recycle Notebook of Mystery for follow-up next turn).
    If he did that play, he would get
    1 monster negate with Mitsu
    (flips 1 face-down monster up and flips herself face-down, and if the face-up monster is not Mitsu),
    Tobari, which Quick Effect fuses on the opponent's Main or Battle Phase to go into either Meizen OR Yaguramaru.
    (You use Green Ninja and Itself for this summon)
    Meizen responds to a card by summoning a Ninja Monster from deck in either face-up or face-down defense.
    Which in this case you should summon a 2nd "Jioh, the Gravity Ninja" to Target up to 2 monster on the field and flip them face-down. (If you fliped an opponent's monster, it's permanent similar to "Floodgate Trap Hole" which is mostly used by Traptrix)
    Jioh also has an additional effect:
    "If a monster on the field is flipped face-up, while this monster is face-up on the field (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it."
    IF you summoned Yaguramaru :
    If this card is Special Summoned or flipped face-up: You can banish 1 other "Ninja" or "Ninjitsu Art" card from your hand, GY, or face-up field, then TARGET 1 CARD on the field; BANISH IT.
    (When summoning Yaguramaru, Activate Green Ninja's effect first, and then banish it with Yaguramaru as chain link 2, so that Green Ninja doesn't get hit by Called by the Grave)
    Either of the 2 are good and also Green Ninja gives you additional disruption, since when it is sent from either hand or field to the GY, You get to either flip a Monster face-up or face down.
    So overall, it's much better to do the previously mentioned lines than what the Player piloting the deck have shown in the vid.

    Nice video man d/d/d best deck ever it's so fun.
    Just one question. Why no d/d dog or vice requim? They're decent cards to consider. I run 44-43 as well usually but I just run 2 maxx c (carry card needs to be banished)
    Also both requim and dog could be considered board breaks or hand traps. Just engine unfortunate They're a brick. But if u cut 1 maxx c 1 imperm it could work.
    Just for some niche now ofcourse if u get higher rank u want more consistency.

    • @Taro_EST
      @Taro_EST  Před měsícem

      I used to run 2 maxx c to play more stuff before, but I just don't like adding more bricks to the deck, and while I like Vice (I have played him before in TCG), I feel like he's better in Unchained than in D/D/D, and Dog is not needed IMO, but it's definitely a tech choice you can play.

    • @brooce4942
      @brooce4942 Před měsícem

      @Taro_EST dog isn't needed no but it's a fun tech I use sometimes. When bystial/tear was popular with all the shuffles etc and they would banish or shuffle our necro the dog could come in clutch. Vice yeah works better in unchained ye. I personally do play with dog and vice sometimes but not always. Not when I want to be more serious haha.
      I do prefer 2 imperm and 1 one for one. Sometimes imperm just doesn't fit during the combo if u end with both scales. Both contracts and headhunt.
      But then again everything is situational isn't it. Sometimes I felt like I needed dog in some match up or needed vice when I wasn't running them. Sometimes they really helped. Sometimes they bricked my hand haha

    • @Taro_EST
      @Taro_EST  Před měsícem

      @@brooce4942 Last month, I was on two imperms, one for one. I cut one for one this season (I didn't really want to cut one for one), but I wanted to play three imperms. I get where you're coming from with the situational point. the deck is so connected that you can't cut stuff like Cerberus despite it not being the best monster you'd want in your deck.

    • @brooce4942
      @brooce4942 Před měsícem

      @Taro_EST yeah as much as I like cerb his art work I really don't want to draw him haha. I feel we need some actual d/d/d consistency support and we could be a solid tier 3 deck.

    Do you have a way with trap heavy deck. I struggle against Purrely and Rescue ace

    • @Taro_EST
      @Taro_EST  Před měsícem +1

      against rescue ace, you have to stop them by handtraps, don't allow them to set 4. if they set 4 it's tough to beat them with any deck. against purely, imperm on the small purely names and ash my friend.
