Someone left a cat near my clinic, thinking her fetuses had died - Vet Rami Awwad

- This video is a very sad story of a cat that was left at the front of the clinic suffering from labor pain for two days. One of the fetuses was found dead and swollen in the cervix, which caused dystocia. Without any hesitation, we did quick tests and put the cat into a caesarean section immediately to save it from the disaster that was about to befall her. We discovered that there were kittens still alive inside the womb. We did all of this at our own expense without any hesitation just to save these poor souls, which was crowned with recovery thanks to the love and care we provided to it.

I thought she was already under until she yelled about the medicine he’d injected!
Sadly the reason she wasn't struggling was probably because she was too tired and in too much pain.
They are hero vets really. Some vets in our area would not treat a wild animal or stray unless it had an owner. Sad.

In those cramped quarters (the box!!!!!!!) and in such pain, no food or water,....she must have felt like she was in a hell!...and THEN, to wake up uncontrollably sleepy and another injury + pain in her belly!...a strange man,..... Yes, it ended well FOR HER, but I'm having a hard time getting past what happened to her! She is petite and her face looks young -- I'd bet the kitten was stuck (or "the birth was unproductive") *b/c she was too young. "God, bless the rest of her life, now!"
@@HaloHighlightz I didn't see her jaw/mouth match the meow, and (after x1,) I believed the crying cat was another cat in the hospital/office.
I watched my neighbors cat die in labor. Her first kitten was coming breach. The vet said the owner had to have $1,000 up fri t to take care of her. We rushed around the apartment complexes in our area and raised the money for her treatment. We called the vet back to tell them we raised the money and we’re on our way. The woman said she was sorry, but since it was now just after midnight, the price just went up $500. We asked if the owner could work out a payment plan for the other $500, but we were told no. Their cat died an hour later. I’ll never forgive that awful woman.
So sad! At least some clinics will have the person to sign the pet over to them instead of letting them die like that. I would stay away from that clinic like the plague.
People like that cannot truly care about animals! I’m so sorry for the mama & her lost babies… and for all who tried to help her. 😓❤️🙏🐾
That person was just in it for the money.
That is so ridiculous $500.00 more what if the cat died any way because of poor service they could have not tried very hard and had been $500.00 richer the poor cat is better off then taking it to scammer’s ‼️‼️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Here's the scenario I imagine: This cat is so beautiful! It was someone's pet from a young age and perhaps was about to be a first-time mother. The owner didn't know, or did know, and expected things to go smoothly. When they didn't, and the poor cat was suffering with an undelivered baby caught in her birth canal, the owner freaked out, knew he/she couldn't pay for care, so carefully put her in a box and left her at your doorstep. In his/her own way, the owner tried to get help, and you guys stepped up and got busy. It's wonderful that you were able to save the mama cat and one baby. That cat is just gorgeous! I feel bad for the owner, who must have been heart-broken. You guys have never appeared on my CZcams feed before. I don't know where you live, but the two of you are vets, right? You look like you are twins. Thanks for sharing this interesting, but also very poignant, story!

The owner didn't care about the cat or he would never have left her. He would have gone in and begged for help.
From the accent they speak, they r either from Jordan or Palestine. Hats off to them!
Yes they are vets. The cat was found outside their clinic. They helped this momma on their own dime ❤
This is why it’s so dang important to spay neuter! So so so important! Let alone don’t let them out before you do!

The cat wasn't mistreated imo. The way that they handled the problems during labor was lacking but I don't think that they did so with malice. I think that they put the cat at the clinic so she could get help but they probably could not pay for it so did not alert them to her need. That is the greatest fault, but while I don't agree with them doing so I understand it. Not having the money to take care of the medical emergencies breaks a person's heart.
So she only had 3 kittens, 1 was deceased inside her, 2 were removed alive, but only 1 made it?
Poor mama, as she knows her losses. And such a gentle soul to let everyone take care of her like that without protest.
I have one expectant mama cat outside whom I've been feeding, but she hasn't been around in 2-3 days, and I'm thinking maybe she gave birth and can't make extended trips here for food, so I'm worried about her and the kittens. I hope nothing bad happened to any of them.
Try searching for them around the neighbourhood .
@@jacqueykoo517 Did. She always would hide in or behind giant tomato-planters in the backyard, or in the styrene-foam cooler "igloo" I made for outside critters, never out in the open. She also knew that I always put out food for her, but never showed when I left some outside just in case she'd only go looking for food and spending time with the kittens the rest of the time.

@@ninademci1500 My #4 was a lone kitten, no mama or siblings to be found, but yelling his head off from hunger for 2-3 nights straight until the lady down the block lured him out, caught him, and gave him to me. How he got separated or where they all went, to this day I have no idea. That's why I'm especially worried for these.
I just had the same thing happen. Heard the kittens and found them barely dry in sub freezing temps. Got food and water for momma and she came back to care for them. I feed her daily so she doesn’t need to look for food. All 4 babies are doing well.

If you know, Doctor Rami, how much I thought about this creature, in fact I wrote several times to find out its conditions and as always, with your professionalism and love, I learned that the mother and a little one made it. Thank you very much for everything you do for other creatures who find themselves on the streets or suffer mistreatment. It's a shame that we are far away because you would have been my trusted vet. I was a preschooler when I lost a cat to a stillborn stuck in the birth canal. She died under my mother car, and I crawled under to be with her -- much to my mother's upset. She birthed one kitten who died shortly afterward. There was no KMR back in the "dark ages."
When I was like 5, our cat had a dry birth (I believe that's whats it was called because the baby had no sac around it), my mom, a long with my sister and myself, gently helped get the baby out. My mom helped pull the baby every time the momma would push and after like 5 pushes the baby came out, it was weak but survived. We kept 1 from each batch that she had (2) and they lived to be 17 & 19. Boogers & Posco where the best cats I could have ever had.
