How are the tiles holding up now? And we’re they installed in an area that has freezing/snow?
It holds grate no issue. The place has freezing condition in the winter with no issue what so ever. You should use the thinset I used.
Take a shot every time he says thin set 🙃🙃
Great vid but your mix seemed pretty sloppy and was slumping after you combed it ,and i was quite surprised you did not use a rubber mallet to bed them in, you brought the platinum mix so why the silicone ?
The mix of the thin set was done according to the manufacture recommendation. I did not use rubber mallet instead I used and hummer and a 2x4 wood which you can not see in the video. I probably should use a rubber mallet. The silicon used to seal the spaces between the tile and the trims , please look at this video.

Where's your layout???
I am woman, I like to see a cleaner job. A lot of dripping. Overall, it was a useful video!
I use a special thin-set and built the stair slope with this thin-set. I used quite a bit of thin-sett to create the slope and to put the metal trim and that is why there were dripping.
Yikes, every time you tap it kills the sound. Might want to not do that in future videos.
Sorry that the sound was not the best.
You never put a threshold on steps it looks good but not safe!
I did
