I've seen tons of Vermintide 2 videos, but this one is probably the most comprehensive, detailed, and fun to watch out of all, even though it's SHORT (just like Bardin, kekw). I love how you struck a balance between humor, creative editing, and covering ALL aspects of the game. I don't know how hard it was to do, but Holy Shit, the result was worth it, because it's a fucking masterpiece. Vermintide 2 is one of those games that opens up to you over time, but for that, as a new player, you first need to try the game as a whole and stay in it long enough to give yourself a chance to fall in love with it. I hope videos like this help give this game more of the attention it so badly deserves. Hey, this is an incredible effort to put together a SHORT video like this, thanks! Now, if you don't mind - I think that you made the Beam Staff a bit of injustice. It's very good against bosses on Battle Wizard, especially if you don't have killing machines like GK or Shade in your party. It has 5 stages of ticks, first two being really weak, and 3-4-5 being more powerful by applying burning effect on top of progressivly increased damage. After 5th tick it just repeats the 5th one again and again, and btw, 5th tick has the most powerful version of burning, maybe in whole of Siennas kit. So mix it up with Famished Flames (ha-ha, what else), and you see the singular target you've been focusing is literally melting from large amount of strong DoT effects. But if you switch targets, you'll start again with the first tick, and this is why beam attack is utter shit against hordes. On top of that - you can do a right click DURING the beam attack to do a burst attack. It also scales with amount of ticks that you're on now with the beam, and after 5th tick it really does a lot of damage (we're speaking 80+ with famished flames active, so it's reduced since it's not DoT). Now, beaming a target to death is a tough job on Legend+ because you're constantly having a lot of enemies around, this burst attack starts to really shine when you have 2 seconds when nobody's around. You just do 5ticks beam and top it off with the burst attack to chunk bosses HP quite a lot. Also it's decent with specials. Most of them die 2 seconds after you do a 4tick + burst (at least on Legend it's enough), and while beams range isn't infinite, it's still very long, so you can kill almost anything that isn't a kilometer-away-Blightstormer with a slight delay.
That's actually very interesting, thank you for telling me. Gonna go test it out today. I did not know that ticks did different damage, as everyone I see using the thing just used it to prock Lingering and kite around lul.
Beam staff also does more damage on the tick explosion if you headshot, allowing you to instatap elites/specials even mid horde (at least on legend, probably will have to let them die to burn damage on cata instead of having their head explode)
Also the spirit arrows talent for waystalker is unironically the worst one in the row. Complete noob bait that almost never gets good value. If you really want to spam volley, just take resourceful combatant on your melee, it gives twice as much cd reduction as spirit arrows. Please for the love of god, take the increased self healing and don't be the noob that uses volley at the beginning of a horde to kill some clanrats and then dies 15 seconds later.

I'm surprised you didn't mention how broken bretton sword and shield is with the opportunist trait, this combo with grail knight first talent for stagger and a horde can give you full temp health in 3 bashes or so Also you can push berserkers with opportunist

At the beginning you are actually incorrect about the amount of guns. It is a brace of pistols, so a bunch of pistols that are preloaded and strapped to Saltzpyre. The fact that the reload is cocking guns instead of reloading guns shows that none of the guns are reused this means that bounty hunter Saltzpyre can carry a measly 47 pistols
Since you didn't mention it for the beam staff; but the hold left click beam can be interrupted with a right click that does a lot of damage on single target if you build it a couple seconds. Also the continous dps and flame stacking can be really good against bosses. It has been broken twice since launch, making bosses melt like butter in a skillet, but has been fixed both times :P
@@magicschoolbass True, I do think VT has the better one. Feels more impactful on a moment-by-moment basis since you’re constantly being swarmed and the enemies aren’t spread out between melee and ranged like in DT. (That, and the sound design on the ES is arguably better than the Eviscerator.) But at the very least, Vermintide can’t give me sawing an Ogryn double my height in half while screaming “FOR HIM ON TERRA!!!”

I'm a devout huntsman main completing every mission on cataclysm (boar spear is my crutch). the only thing that kept me playing for so long was how charming the game was from how saltspyre would spin his guns cause he secretly LOVES being a witch hunter or how everyone is genuinely distraught if sienna dies. that all being said I genuinely quit playing for 2 years cause of how sick I got of hearing kerillian yell "LUMBERFOOT". its to the point that I cant see a forest without the intense urge to replace it with a parking lot man i hate elfs
im loving this video, as a person with 14 days of playtime in this game i can say its a perfect beginners guide and a great refresher for current players
On the beam staff You need to hit right click while hitting an enemy with the beam for a few seconds to cause the enemy your shooting to explode and I think causing burning to enemies around it, but i could be wrong about the burn spread. It's great at sniping specials imo
@@magicschoolbass Beam staff is just more versatile, it can be used for sniping by using it as the guy above said, can be used for horde damage and clear with the shotgun spread, and can do some pretty good boss damage when just held on a boss. Bolt staff will always be better for sniping as that's what it specializes in, but beam staff is probably the most versatile of all the staves. Haven't watched the vid yet as I don't have time rn, so if you address that in the vid then ignore me

Oh wow that was one hell of a video and oh boy did I enjoy it. Every newcomer should watch it, it's very informative and also funny. Plus after playing this game for like 2 weeks straight, only now from this randomly found video I learned not to shoot those lanky chaos goons into their armored heads and insted to their unarmored belly, I really feel embaressed not noticing such an obvious thing😅
Honestly miners pick should apply bleeding and have the best armor piercing in the game to compensate for its terrible speed. imo the heavy attack should be able to kill a chaos warrior in one hit to the head.
54:42 War Pick on Slayer is fun. It is still a meme, but it manages to also be fun. Additionally, it's worth noting that the heavy has two stages and to get the full damage you have to hold the attack until you see the arm raise the second time (basically lets you one shot anything).
I love the war pick. Just sucks there isn't really a weapon that compliments it. I mean hammers a good go to always....but, uh....Anyway yeah, I LOVE dawi drop with the pick axe. Maulers, PLAGUE rats, specials,, Chaos warriors? Dead. That overhead is so satisfying. That big CLEAVE normal swing is so good with it too, apparently it's the slowest attack in the game....I didn't believe that, it's slow, but fine to me. Every class gets good health from it too. Stagger, killing blows, cleave....
Hagbane has insane DPS. It melts bosses with the right gear and with Kurnous Reward the ammo is a non-issue. It also deals heavy stagger so it still interupts specials before killing them with the DOT.
Very true, but it's only good for Waystalker and on top of that it struggles with Blightstormers, Leeches and Hookrats, due to their high healthpool and armor type. And unless you are playing with your mates, Waystalkers prime objective is elite and special focus, there are way better DPS classes
Hah I am a regular Cataclysm player, and with me having played 900 hours, I wish to extend my wisdom to aid some of your errors I'll edit this message as I watch the video, whenever I see something is wrong, so it will be somewhat like my reaction to the video, hehe. And I will start with melee weapon traits. You said that there are only 2 useful ones - Swift Slaying and Parry, which are good traits. But you missed the gold one - Opportunist. Its description says "Push strength +50% against attacking enemies", which is a bullshit description, since it increases stagger not only for push, but for attacks as well. This is usually worthless for damaging weapons, but this is bread and butter for shield weapons. Shield weapons usually (all but spear and shield) have a shield bash, a special kind of attack that can hit infinite amount of enemies as long as they are in range. And, with opportunist, you can stagger EVERY enemy attack save from CWs overheads and monsters. Savages and plague monks included. And again - shield bash has no limit on how many enemies it can hit. So, you can hold of any amount of enemies. Sure, they will hit you between your shieldbashes, but: 1)you can blockcancel to shieldbash almost with no delay, and 2)shieldbash gives you immense stagger THP if you have stagger thp talent (3-5 thp per enemy hit), making you invincible to anything except specials, monsters and MAYBE some unlucky overheads. seriously, try this. In the video I saw your footknight halfdead with no thp and loads of enemies, and you still didnt bash them. Zou could easilz get 30-40 thp with just one bash(exaggareted, but 10 per bash easily). bruh (to stagger plague monks or savages out of their quick combos you need shield weapon, opportunist, 30-40% power increase. With this, you can even stagger them with simple pushes, not even shieldbashes. But dont get me wrong, the same but on normal weapons wont work. Shield weapons have a stronger base push. ) Also, I dont agree with bretonian sword and shield being bad. Well, I wouldnt call them good, but not bad either. The reason being this weapon has weird shield bash position in it's combo. You can access it as 3rd light attack of 2nd charged attack, which sucks. But, If you push and quickly try to light attack right after, you will for some goddamn reason shield bash. So you can just go push-shieldbash-push-shieldbash, so you can very quickly gaint stagger thp. Niche, but not bad. Ah, you touched that point, with its strange bashes, but you for some reason use the kill thp talent. Try with stagger thp. You wont fill as fullfilled, when you kill bosses or CWs with your ult, but would probably be okay due to infinite thp you will swim in. Got to the section with bardins pickaxe. Its charged attacks actually have 2 stages of being charged, like Saltspyre's rapier. Try charging it fully and watch closely. Around one second after starting the charge he will reposition it (i dont know a more fitting word for this) and if unleashed will do WAY more damage against armor. Still wouldnt pick it myself, though. Just wanted to mention that it is not FULLY useless. About hookrat. I myself looked up how to dodge him consistently, and the best option I found was trying to position yourself right near it. Imagine him running to you, and the moment he locks in you rotate yourself so he is to your left or right and dodge in his side. Not doable when in horde or dealing with some other shit, but otherwise usually saves you, unless ping. Ironbreaker. You either forgot, or entirely missed one essential point about him. One, that makes him one of the most tanky character in the whole game. And no, I dont mean trollpedos. It's just that he is the ONLY, ONLY person that can get rid of any special without ANY help from teammates. His passive allows him to absorb 1 hit per 20 seconds, but if you take one certain upgrade, whenever he absorbs that hit he staggers all enemies around him. ALL enemies, SPECIALS TOO!!! Still dont like playing him though, but that seemed a very important point. A bit off point, but I am really amazed you avoided all stagger thp talents in every carier that has it. Since it is common sense to do the opposite. seriously, have you never tried it? I strongly suggest to try. Slayer going 2 twohanded is worthless? well, dunno, dunno... pick the cleave thp talent, take coghammer with swiftslaying for usual combat and great hammer with opportunist when there are to many armored enemies around you. Coghammers quick attacks allow good thp generation and horde killing, charged attacks do okey monster and elites damage, and great hammer is for having Block Cost Reduction property and its charged attack, that with opportunist would allow you to stagger ANYTHING save for CWs. . And yeah, definitely pick the talent for fast ult regen when all passive stacks are up. I didnt see you use it, and it is strange, since it is the most meta option. Specials will be a problem though. Unless you decide to change great hammer for throwing axes. Then they are bearable. Well, later on you made good options for slayer, but I think cog hammer is Great Axe but better. and dual hammers and dual axes... meh, didnt like them. Hah, Saltspyre's Rapier... Seems you didnt know it has 2 stages of charged attacks. Still, I dont think they are that useful, spamming the uncharged charged attack is almost as efficient due to his critical headshots, so fully charged can help only with CWs, I guess. Also, rapier's pistol deals almost no damage if enemy is more than 5 feet away from you. You only killed the blightsrtormer on 1:19:36 due to a lucky crit on the head. The attack itself dealt literally 1 damage. Ah, Zealot... The local men, too religious to die. But it seems like you missed one of the main reasons, WHY he is so popular. You see, one of his talents increases his healing gained by up to 75%, and sure, when I myself saw this, it seemed stupid. Why healing bonus for a character, that always wants to stay nearly dead? The answer to this - is THP. Healing bonus not only increases your normal hp gained, IT INCREASES YOUR THP GAINED. So you can essentially get 105% bonus to THP gained. And yeah, you no longer will feel "injurable" after this. Also, one lide side fact, you should always have use medical supplies after you get downed. No, dont worry, you dont have to heal yourself. Healing OTHERS clears your deadly wounds as well, despite not healing your hp. So you can essentially be downed againg without fully dying. neat, yeah? About Kerilians Dual Swords, they have 2 funny properties. 1, the 3rd light attack has 25% crit chance bonus. Neat, yeah? right, but not as neat as 4th light attacks 50% crit chance. Why is it there? Probably to make this weapon at least somewhat justifiable to use. I usually see it used on WayStalkers along with a long bow. Btw, about Javelins. Handmaiden has a talent, that buffs your attack speed by 30% after pushing for your next 2 strikes This buff increases speed of you reloading your javelins. And, for some reason, ranged attacks dont diminish that buff, despite the wording "next 2 attacks". neat. Though you probably knew this already, so I am just rambling at this point. Also, it comes with the Sister since once she was a damage dealer, but they nerfed her into her current role. I judge fatshark for that. I heard what she used to be, and that sounded like quite some fun. Liches. The easiest special to dodge. Ah, finally, my favorite class, Sister of the thorns. I really like to use the thicc walls btw. When used well, they help immensely. Like, you are surrounded near a wall? place the wall next to it to turn a "wall" into a "corner" for next 10 seconds. Or, if a whole patrol is going for the souls of your team, if they go through a corridor you can block part of them off. Outside of that, fun fact - her staff lifts any enemy for 8 seconds, except CWs - 4 seconds. And finally, Sienna. About Fire Sword - its first Charged attack is actually considered a shield bash. Dont ask me why, no idea either. But that is why she can get so much thp without a "shield" weapon. Also, conflagnation staff. Yeah, its damage is low, but the charged version can stagger most elites even if you dont charge it at all. I heard some use it solely for that purpose. Pyromancer. Maybe you havent heard, but she got a glorious rework. Now she is way more powerful. Essentially, Battle Wizard is sienna doing both melee and ranged, Unchained focused on Melee, and Pyromancer focused on ranged. Beam staff. It has actually a third attack. First one is the shotgun, where you hold the right button and press the left one. Second is the beam, that you get if you hold the left button. And the third is a short burst of damage, that you get if you press right click during the beam attack. And the longer you beamed the last target, the more powerful this attack gets. Also, beam attack leaves a very, VERY powerful burning damage. Seriously, I've seen people melt bosses with it. Though, you have to hold the beam on target for at least 2 second for the main DoT to begin. So, this is actually not the worst staff. Welp, finally we went to the end. Honestly, I wrote this not to make you correct errors in the video, just thought some tips would make some classes for you more enjoyable, like 3rd saltspyre, now that you know about healing bonus. Or any class with stagger thp talent. Hope the game will be as fun for you as it is for me. Good luck)

Hope it helped Also, thought I should tell you, why stagger is so especially good on shield weapons While any weapon can stagger, you only get thp from stagger if your attack doesnt outright kill your enemy. So, weapons like Great Hammer, despite hitting a lot of enemies, only produce hp if you attack a crowd of 5+ enemies. Shield bash though deal very little damage, but to all enemies hit. Also, what I said about shield bash hitting infinite enemies, the game sees it a bit different. Shield bash only hits the first enemy, after that it works like an explosion with small radius and big radius. So, if you try shield bashing with a cleave thp talent, it will only give you 1 thp. Despite holding back entire hordes. And the reason, why stagger talent is so good at giving thp, is because it is not directly limited. The crit/headshot talent only gives 2-4 hp per strike, kill talent is tied to how well you kill stuff, and cleave has a stupid limit of 5 per strike. Stagger, on the other hand, gives you hp per every enemy you staggered with your attack, with no cap on amount of enemies. Which in turn makes shields shine. Anyway, I am glad it helped you. Also, it would be nice to hear your impression on thing you have missed before. Would make me feel a little bit proud of myself)

Two handed weapon Slayer is awesome, I've cleared Cata with the following build and Chaos Wastes Cata with these talents and weapons. Give this a try Talents: 2, 2, 1, 3, 2, 3 Great hammer with +5 to Attack Speed and Crit Chance (switch out Crit for BCR if you're doing Cata and running out of stamina too often). Great Axe with +5 to Attack Speed and Crit Chance (switch out Crit for BCR if you're doing Cata and running out of stamina too often). Health & BCR on Necklace with Barkskin +5 Attack speed and 10% DMG to Skaven on Charm with Proxy Stamina recovery and +5 Crit chance on Trinket with Shrapnel. Use power attacks against mobs and mixed elites, it has HUGE wide sweeps, rats go flying and the stagger on it is mad. Griminir's focus from each power attack (40% DMG reduction for 5 seconds and no cooldown for it resetting means you can clutch like a boss if you have to, shrug off attacks that might otherwise finish you and wrack up THP if you need it). Two light hits with the hammer will squash Storm vermin (1 with a crit) and that's without 3 stacks on Trophy Hunter. Use axe on low armoured elites like monks and Berserkers lead with a power attack as they charge you for Grimnir's to kick in, then shread them with light attacks. Great Hammer absolutely wrecks Chaos warriors, 4 taps on Legend will squash one before it has a chance to hit you and that's again without stacks on Trophy Hunter. Against Monsters use great axe, if you have a speed potion to hand even better, speed pot Slayer go Brrrr...

Yoooo the beam staff on Sienna, you forgot its secret beam snipe. While holding the left click beam you can right click it and it's a damaging snipe, does less than the bolt staff projectile but it can still be pretty fun as a crowd destroyer and special killer
53:25 The free bomb perk doesn't expire by the way. You don't have to use the bomb while the smoke screen is active. You get a free bomb anytime after using an ult.
You can make the repeater crossbow have close to infinite ammo on Zealot as long as you hit your shots with a specific build. Very fun to just sit 100 yards away from a boss pelting them with bolts without ever having to find more ammo.
@@magicschoolbass Ah I gotcha! In my experience, it can definitely change depending on where in the US. I believe 'Eagles' is a more west coast phrase, where as anywhere in the south prefers the 'AR-15' time conversion
I'm disappointed you didn't mention how the shotgun right click is one of the best weapons for staggering. If you have a horde with no specials you can easily get yourself max white health in a few seconds. I always run it with Ironbreaker and it is hard to die from anything that isnt a Black Rat overhead or a boss attack.
I had a section where I talked about ranged weapons rightclicks, like blunderbuss or griffin's, but I cut it out cuz it seemed too specific and unnecessary
dual swords fills a very nice niche of having a high base crit chance on its light attacks for triggering on-crit effects like ult cooldown or sister of thorns lingering blackvenom
@@magicschoolbass The last two light attacks for the dual swords have a stupidly high crit chance boost. The third attack gets a 25% increased crit chance and the fourth gets a whopping 50% crit chance boost; great for meme builds like the aforementioned blackvenom setup on Sister.
i loved everything about this, the humor, the pacing and i can see how much effort it was to edit all of this(to the point of not redoing the same joke all those times) i agree with most of everything, great choice in music, and the description containing all the memes is an amazing touch but the only sort of critisism i can imagine for this whole video is that it lacked the music list you used for the background, other than that just perfect so i really dont know why you dont get more views but then again i dont understand nor like whatever it is that people actually watch these days. Only reason I use the Jav is because on handmaiden all the bows have a clipping issue only visible to other people with one of her gauntlets flipping when using the bow, it’s a small thing to notice but with the Jav she doesn’t do that and since no handmaiden skin has a quiver I use the javs since they have an a recall mechanic

Hey, this is an incredible effort to put together a SHORT video like this, thanks!
Now, if you don't mind - I think that you made the Beam Staff a bit of injustice. It's very good against bosses on Battle Wizard, especially if you don't have killing machines like GK or Shade in your party. It has 5 stages of ticks, first two being really weak, and 3-4-5 being more powerful by applying burning effect on top of progressivly increased damage. After 5th tick it just repeats the 5th one again and again, and btw, 5th tick has the most powerful version of burning, maybe in whole of Siennas kit. So mix it up with Famished Flames (ha-ha, what else), and you see the singular target you've been focusing is literally melting from large amount of strong DoT effects. But if you switch targets, you'll start again with the first tick, and this is why beam attack is utter shit against hordes.
On top of that - you can do a right click DURING the beam attack to do a burst attack. It also scales with amount of ticks that you're on now with the beam, and after 5th tick it really does a lot of damage (we're speaking 80+ with famished flames active, so it's reduced since it's not DoT). Now, beaming a target to death is a tough job on Legend+ because you're constantly having a lot of enemies around, this burst attack starts to really shine when you have 2 seconds when nobody's around. You just do 5ticks beam and top it off with the burst attack to chunk bosses HP quite a lot.
Also it's decent with specials. Most of them die 2 seconds after you do a 4tick + burst (at least on Legend it's enough), and while beams range isn't infinite, it's still very long, so you can kill almost anything that isn't a kilometer-away-Blightstormer with a slight delay.
That's actually very interesting, thank you for telling me. Gonna go test it out today. I did not know that ticks did different damage, as everyone I see using the thing just used it to prock Lingering and kite around lul.
Beam staff also does more damage on the tick explosion if you headshot, allowing you to instatap elites/specials even mid horde (at least on legend, probably will have to let them die to burn damage on cata instead of having their head explode)

Also the spirit arrows talent for waystalker is unironically the worst one in the row. Complete noob bait that almost never gets good value. If you really want to spam volley, just take resourceful combatant on your melee, it gives twice as much cd reduction as spirit arrows. Please for the love of god, take the increased self healing and don't be the noob that uses volley at the beginning of a horde to kill some clanrats and then dies 15 seconds later.

I'm surprised you didn't mention how broken bretton sword and shield is with the opportunist trait, this combo with grail knight first talent for stagger and a horde can give you full temp health in 3 bashes or so

At the beginning you are actually incorrect about the amount of guns. It is a brace of pistols, so a bunch of pistols that are preloaded and strapped to Saltzpyre. The fact that the reload is cocking guns instead of reloading guns shows that none of the guns are reused
this means that bounty hunter Saltzpyre can carry a measly 47 pistols
Since you didn't mention it for the beam staff; but the hold left click beam can be interrupted with a right click that does a lot of damage on single target if you build it a couple seconds. Also the continous dps and flame stacking can be really good against bosses. It has been broken twice since launch, making bosses melt like butter in a skillet, but has been fixed both times :P

Feels more impactful on a moment-by-moment basis since you’re constantly being swarmed and the enemies aren’t spread out between melee and ranged like in DT. (That, and the sound design on the ES is arguably better than the Eviscerator.) But at the very least, Vermintide can’t give me sawing an Ogryn double my height in half while screaming “FOR HIM ON TERRA!!!”

On the beam staff You need to hit right click while hitting an enemy with the beam for a few seconds to cause the enemy your shooting to explode and I think causing burning to enemies around it, but i could be wrong about the burn spread. It's great at sniping specials imo
Isn't Bolt staff just strictly better in that regard? It does it way faster
@@magicschoolbass Beam staff is just more versatile, it can be used for sniping by using it as the guy above said, can be used for horde damage and clear with the shotgun spread, and can do some pretty good boss damage when just held on a boss.
Bolt staff will always be better for sniping as that's what it specializes in, but beam staff is probably the most versatile of all the staves.

I only play Legend casually, not Cata, so HP breakpoints are different, but I'd personally put it in B tier at least, the falloff isn't that brutal in my experience and left click can be as useful in a tight scenario as a bolt staff

54:42 War Pick on Slayer is fun. It is still a meme, but it manages to also be fun. Additionally, it's worth noting that the heavy has two stages and to get the full damage you have to hold the attack until you see the arm raise the second time (basically lets you one shot anything).
I love the war pick. Just sucks there isn't really a weapon that compliments it. I mean hammers a good go to always....but, uh....Anyway yeah, I LOVE dawi drop with the pick axe. Maulers, PLAGUE rats, specials,, Chaos warriors? Dead. That overhead is so satisfying. That big CLEAVE normal swing is so good with it too, apparently it's the slowest attack in the game....I didn't believe that, it's slow, but fine to me. Every class gets good health from it too. Stagger, killing blows, cleave....

Hagbane has insane DPS. It melts bosses with the right gear and with Kurnous Reward the ammo is a non-issue. It also deals heavy stagger so it still interupts specials before killing them with the DOT.
Very true, but it's only good for Waystalker and on top of that it struggles with Blightstormers, Leeches and Hookrats, due to their high healthpool and armor type. And unless you are playing with your mates, Waystalkers prime objective is elite and special focus, there are way better DPS classes

I am a regular Cataclysm player, and with me having played 900 hours, I wish to extend my wisdom to aid some of your errors
I'll edit this message as I watch the video, whenever I see something is wrong, so it will be somewhat like my reaction to the video, hehe. And I will start with melee weapon traits.
You said that there are only 2 useful ones - Swift Slaying and Parry, which are good traits. But you missed the gold one - Opportunist.
Its description says "Push strength +50% against attacking enemies", which is a bullshit description, since it increases stagger not only for push, but for attacks as well. This is usually worthless for damaging weapons, but this is bread and butter for shield weapons. Shield weapons usually (all but spear and shield) have a shield bash, a special kind of attack that can hit infinite amount of enemies as long as they are in range. And, with opportunist, you can stagger EVERY enemy attack save from CWs overheads and monsters. Savages and plague monks included. And again - shield bash has no limit on how many enemies it can hit. So, you can hold of any amount of enemies. Sure, they will hit you between your shieldbashes, but: 1)you can blockcancel to shieldbash almost with no delay, and 2)shieldbash gives you immense stagger THP if you have stagger thp talent (3-5 thp per enemy hit), making you invincible to anything except specials, monsters and MAYBE some unlucky overheads. seriously, try this. In the video I saw your footknight halfdead with no thp and loads of enemies, and you still didnt bash them. Zou could easilz get 30-40 thp with just one bash(exaggareted, but 10 per bash easily). bruh
(to stagger plague monks or savages out of their quick combos you need shield weapon, opportunist, 30-40% power increase. With this, you can even stagger them with simple pushes, not even shieldbashes. But dont get me wrong, the same but on normal weapons wont work. Shield weapons have a stronger base push. )
Also, I dont agree with bretonian sword and shield being bad. Well, I wouldnt call them good, but not bad either. The reason being this weapon has weird shield bash position in it's combo. You can access it as 3rd light attack of 2nd charged attack, which sucks. But, If you push and quickly try to light attack right after, you will for some goddamn reason shield bash. So you can just go push-shieldbash-push-shieldbash, so you can very quickly gaint stagger thp. Niche, but not bad.
Ah, you touched that point, with its strange bashes, but you for some reason use the kill thp talent. Try with stagger thp. You wont fill as fullfilled, when you kill bosses or CWs with your ult, but would probably be okay due to infinite thp you will swim in.
Got to the section with bardins pickaxe. Its charged attacks actually have 2 stages of being charged, like Saltspyre's rapier. Try charging it fully and watch closely. Around one second after starting the charge he will reposition it (i dont know a more fitting word for this) and if unleashed will do WAY more damage against armor. Still wouldnt pick it myself, though. Just wanted to mention that it is not FULLY useless.
About hookrat. I myself looked up how to dodge him consistently, and the best option I found was trying to position yourself right near it. Imagine him running to you, and the moment he locks in you rotate yourself so he is to your left or right and dodge in his side. Not doable when in horde or dealing with some other shit, but otherwise usually saves you, unless ping.
Ironbreaker. You either forgot, or entirely missed one essential point about him. One, that makes him one of the most tanky character in the whole game. And no, I dont mean trollpedos. It's just that he is the ONLY, ONLY person that can get rid of any special without ANY help from teammates. His passive allows him to absorb 1 hit per 20 seconds, but if you take one certain upgrade, whenever he absorbs that hit he staggers all enemies around him. ALL enemies, SPECIALS TOO!!! Still dont like playing him though, but that seemed a very important point.
A bit off point, but I am really amazed you avoided all stagger thp talents in every carier that has it. Since it is common sense to do the opposite. seriously, have you never tried it? I strongly suggest to try.
Slayer going 2 twohanded is worthless? well, dunno, dunno... pick the cleave thp talent, take coghammer with swiftslaying for usual combat and great hammer with opportunist when there are to many armored enemies around you. Coghammers quick attacks allow good thp generation and horde killing, charged attacks do okey monster and elites damage, and great hammer is for having Block Cost Reduction property and its charged attack, that with opportunist would allow you to stagger ANYTHING save for CWs. . And yeah, definitely pick the talent for fast ult regen when all passive stacks are up. I didnt see you use it, and it is strange, since it is the most meta option. Specials will be a problem though. Unless you decide to change great hammer for throwing axes. Then they are bearable.
Well, later on you made good options for slayer, but I think cog hammer is Great Axe but better. and dual hammers and dual axes... meh, didnt like them.
Hah, Saltspyre's Rapier... Seems you didnt know it has 2 stages of charged attacks. Still, I dont think they are that useful, spamming the uncharged charged attack is almost as efficient due to his critical headshots, so fully charged can help only with CWs, I guess. Also, rapier's pistol deals almost no damage if enemy is more than 5 feet away from you. You only killed the blightsrtormer on 1:19:36 due to a lucky crit on the head. The attack itself dealt literally 1 damage.
Ah, Zealot... The local men, too religious to die. But it seems like you missed one of the main reasons, WHY he is so popular. You see, one of his talents increases his healing gained by up to 75%, and sure, when I myself saw this, it seemed stupid. Why healing bonus for a character, that always wants to stay nearly dead? The answer to this - is THP. Healing bonus not only increases your normal hp gained, IT INCREASES YOUR THP GAINED. So you can essentially get 105% bonus to THP gained. And yeah, you no longer will feel "injurable" after this. Also, one lide side fact, you should always have use medical supplies after you get downed. No, dont worry, you dont have to heal yourself. Healing OTHERS clears your deadly wounds as well, despite not healing your hp. So you can essentially be downed againg without fully dying. neat, yeah?
About Kerilians Dual Swords, they have 2 funny properties. 1, the 3rd light attack has 25% crit chance bonus. Neat, yeah? right, but not as neat as 4th light attacks 50% crit chance. Why is it there? Probably to make this weapon at least somewhat justifiable to use. I usually see it used on WayStalkers along with a long bow.
Btw, about Javelins. Handmaiden has a talent, that buffs your attack speed by 30% after pushing for your next 2 strikes This buff increases speed of you reloading your javelins. And, for some reason, ranged attacks dont diminish that buff, despite the wording "next 2 attacks". neat. Though you probably knew this already, so I am just rambling at this point. Also, it comes with the Sister since once she was a damage dealer, but they nerfed her into her current role. I judge fatshark for that. I heard what she used to be, and that sounded like quite some fun.
Liches. The easiest special to dodge.
Ah, finally, my favorite class, Sister of the thorns. I really like to use the thicc walls btw. When used well, they help immensely. Like, you are surrounded near a wall? place the wall next to it to turn a "wall" into a "corner" for next 10 seconds. Or, if a whole patrol is going for the souls of your team, if they go through a corridor you can block part of them off. Outside of that, fun fact - her staff lifts any enemy for 8 seconds, except CWs - 4 seconds.
And finally, Sienna. About Fire Sword - its first Charged attack is actually considered a shield bash. Dont ask me why, no idea either. But that is why she can get so much thp without a "shield" weapon. Also, conflagnation staff. Yeah, its damage is low, but the charged version can stagger most elites even if you dont charge it at all. I heard some use it solely for that purpose.
Pyromancer. Maybe you havent heard, but she got a glorious rework. Now she is way more powerful. Essentially, Battle Wizard is sienna doing both melee and ranged, Unchained focused on Melee, and Pyromancer focused on ranged.
Beam staff. It has actually a third attack. First one is the shotgun, where you hold the right button and press the left one. Second is the beam, that you get if you hold the left button. And the third is a short burst of damage, that you get if you press right click during the beam attack. And the longer you beamed the last target, the more powerful this attack gets. Also, beam attack leaves a very, VERY powerful burning damage. Seriously, I've seen people melt bosses with it. Though, you have to hold the beam on target for at least 2 second for the main DoT to begin. So, this is actually not the worst staff.
Welp, finally we went to the end. Honestly, I wrote this not to make you correct errors in the video, just thought some tips would make some classes for you more enjoyable, like 3rd saltspyre, now that you know about healing bonus. Or any class with stagger thp talent.

Also, thought I should tell you, why stagger is so especially good on shield weapons
While any weapon can stagger, you only get thp from stagger if your attack doesnt outright kill your enemy. So, weapons like Great Hammer, despite hitting a lot of enemies, only produce hp if you attack a crowd of 5+ enemies. Shield bash though deal very little damage, but to all enemies hit.
Also, what I said about shield bash hitting infinite enemies, the game sees it a bit different. Shield bash only hits the first enemy, after that it works like an explosion with small radius and big radius. So, if you try shield bashing with a cleave thp talent, it will only give you 1 thp. Despite holding back entire hordes.
And the reason, why stagger talent is so good at giving thp, is because it is not directly limited. The crit/headshot talent only gives 2-4 hp per strike, kill talent is tied to how well you kill stuff, and cleave has a stupid limit of 5 per strike. Stagger, on the other hand, gives you hp per every enemy you staggered with your attack, with no cap on amount of enemies. Which in turn makes shields shine.
Anyway, I am glad it helped you. Also, it would be nice to hear your impression on thing you have missed before. Would make me feel a little bit proud of myself)

Two handed weapon Slayer is awesome, I've cleared Cata with the following build and Chaos Wastes Cata with these talents and weapons.
Give this a try
Talents: 2, 2, 1, 3, 2, 3
Great hammer with +5 to Attack Speed and Crit Chance (switch out Crit for BCR if you're doing Cata and running out of stamina too often).
Great Axe with +5 to Attack Speed and Crit Chance (switch out Crit for BCR if you're doing Cata and running out of stamina too often).
Health & BCR on Necklace with Barkskin
+5 Attack speed and 10% DMG to Skaven on Charm with Proxy
Stamina recovery and +5 Crit chance on Trinket with Shrapnel.
Use power attacks against mobs and mixed elites, it has HUGE wide sweeps, rats go flying and the stagger on it is mad. Griminir's focus from each power attack (40% DMG reduction for 5 seconds and no cooldown for it resetting means you can clutch like a boss if you have to, shrug off attacks that might otherwise finish you and wrack up THP if you need it).
Two light hits with the hammer will squash Storm vermin (1 with a crit) and that's without 3 stacks on Trophy Hunter.
Use axe on low armoured elites like monks and Berserkers lead with a power attack as they charge you for Grimnir's to kick in, then shread them with light attacks.
Great Hammer absolutely wrecks Chaos warriors, 4 taps on Legend will squash one before it has a chance to hit you and that's again without stacks on Trophy Hunter.
Against Monsters use great axe, if you have a speed potion to hand even better, speed pot Slayer go Brrrr...

Yoooo the beam staff on Sienna, you forgot its secret beam snipe. While holding the left click beam you can right click it and it's a damaging snipe, does less than the bolt staff projectile but it can still be pretty fun as a crowd destroyer and special killer
53:25 The free bomb perk doesn't expire by the way. You don't have to use the bomb while the smoke screen is active. You get a free bomb anytime after using an ult.
You can make the repeater crossbow have close to infinite ammo on Zealot as long as you hit your shots with a specific build. Very fun to just sit 100 yards away from a boss pelting them with bolts without ever having to find more ammo.

@@magicschoolbass Ah I gotcha! In my experience, it can definitely change depending on where in the US. I believe 'Eagles' is a more west coast phrase, where as anywhere in the south prefers the 'AR-15' time conversion
I'm disappointed you didn't mention how the shotgun right click is one of the best weapons for staggering. If you have a horde with no specials you can easily get yourself max white health in a few seconds. I always run it with Ironbreaker and it is hard to die from anything that isnt a Black Rat overhead or a boss attack.
I had a section where I talked about ranged weapons rightclicks, like blunderbuss or griffin's, but I cut it out cuz it seemed too specific and unnecessary
dual swords fills a very nice niche of having a high base crit chance on its light attacks for triggering on-crit effects like ult cooldown or sister of thorns lingering blackvenom
Didn't think about that. But aren't the daggers better for that?
@@magicschoolbass The last two light attacks for the dual swords have a stupidly high crit chance boost. The third attack gets a 25% increased crit chance and the fourth gets a whopping 50% crit chance boost; great for meme builds like the aforementioned blackvenom setup on Sister.

i loved everything about this, the humor, the pacing and i can see how much effort it was to edit all of this(to the point of not redoing the same joke all those times) i agree with most of everything, great choice in music, and the description containing all the memes is an amazing touch but the only sort of critisism i can imagine for this whole video is that it lacked the music list you used for the background, other than that just perfect so i really dont know why you dont get more views but then again i dont understand nor like whatever it is that people actually watch these days. Thanks for the advice on deeds, its more manageable this way of course, still i aint doing hundreds just for an ugly frame that i wont use, did that too much already playing weaves to help a friend with that purpose.
I didnt liked much of the changes either specially since i main the chad classes(totally not because my aim is shit) and i always thought the versus mode was just a running joke of some aprils fools day but oh well they might end up adding it to vermintide before improving darktide some more...

Only reason I use the Jav is because on handmaiden all the bows have a clipping issue only visible to other people with one of her gauntlets flipping when using the bow, it’s a small thing to notice but with the Jav she doesn’t do that and since no handmaiden skin has a quiver I use the javs since they have an a recall mechanic
