I visited one place where i found lots of different type different material pots for plants & some home decorative items.
Following things I found in shop.

Clay pot ( mitti ke bartan)
Terracotta clay pots.
Blue explain difference between Terracotta pot and clay pot, difference between plastic pot and clay pot
so it will be easy for you to choose right planter ( Pot ) for your plants.
Difference between Terracotta pot and normal clay pot.
Terra-cotta also refers to the color of fired earthenware clay that contains a high amount of iron oxide. The Difference Between Clay and Terra-cottaThe difference between clay and terra-cotta is that clay is the raw material, while terra-cotta is clay that is already modeled and fired.
They are having a really great collection of Terracotta pots. If you want to buy anything from this shop you should visit there shop which is in Nagpur because they do not having any online service.
Difference between plastic pot and clay pots
plastic pots hold more water than clay, but this makes them an ideal choice for plants that thrive in moist soil, or if you tend to forget to water. One of the downsides to clay pots is that clay is porous. Clay pots wick water and potting mix dries out faster which means you need to water plants more.
