Something I once came across was to use the nurturing energy towards something else, never to your man. Like, grow a plant, have a pet, or an artistic project.. The point is having something you’re taking care of (it could very much also be taking care of your appearance- it takes a lot of time too😅) so that your focusing your nurturing energy towards something other than your man. My husband early on almost seemed to want to turn me into his mother but I resisted and always prevented him from treating me that way and l never behaved like his mom, always his very attractive wife 😉 We have been very happily married for over 20 years. I don’t want my husband to be like one of the kids, I want a man, which very husband very much is.
That explains why I never was attracted to him, even though he was a provider, I was teaching him to be a man and I saw him more like a child instead of a man.

I don’t take out the trash, unload the dishwasher and go to the grocery store. My husband does all that I just give him a list. I don’t even fill up the cars with gas. I asked my husband every morning to bring me my tea and when I wake up, bring my tray with my tea on it and I have it every morning in bed when I wake up❤
This is so true, my boyfriend just broke up with me and now I'm realising I was mothering him the whole time. At times when he wanted to impress me I ignored it and told him that he was gonna hurt himself or to stop and be careful. Men learn from mistakes and experiences not being told what to do constantly, because thats what drive them away. I'm definetly going to take this advice because theres nothing more attractive to a man than a woman focused on herelf and living her best life. I know I'll get another chance with him I just got to wait and focus on myself, or maybe a new guy will find me.

1) what elegant woman should avoid in terms of looks (maybe piercing? or exaggerated makeup?)
2) how to transform from a girl to a mature woman?
3) a body is a temple; how should woman respect her body?
I am not Lisa, but I would say:
1.) Everything in moderation. Things should accentuate and complement your natural beauty, not cover up or distract. But as Legally Blonde says, "accessorize!!" I live by the rule of two.
2.) Many people have their opinions, but I would say a.) Setting my goals and considerations first, and b.) Communication. That's it.
3.) Respect is mutual. If your body enjoys it and you enjoy it, that is good. If you enjoy it and your body doesn't, maybe that is addiction. If your body enjoys it and you don't, that is also addiction.
This is just my two cents!
I really appreciate that you responded to this comment. I heard something recently that changed my view on goals. Someone said(I believe a philosopher from a long long time ago, possibly) to avoid setting “goals”, because of from I understood, is that goals have a specific end. Don’t set a goal for the day, because you cannot control the day. You cannot control traffic accidents, lost documents, illness, things just not happening at the right time, because when you set goals, you set yourself up for negativity if things don’t go 100% your way and you can check everything off your list.
Instead, set INTENTIONS. Make a list with all of the things that you will put 100% of Your efforts to make happen. Because at the end of the day you can say that you put your all into it, even if it didn’t happen because of outside influence. Of course there are excellent arguments for “goals” but I believe there is definitely a space to set for “intentions”.
In terms of makeup, I would say that Lisa has just the right level. Not too much, not too little. Lisa's feminine appearance is extraordinarily attractive.
Can u add "how to inspire your man to become more masculine?" I try acting feminine as possible around him but nothing seems to be working, he keeps acting like...soft and emotional, it's such a turn off. Help!!

Yes!!!! Preach!! 🙌 a man loves who you are to him, not what you DO for him, it took me a long time to figure this out and what it truly meant. It is the equivalent of the nice guy who thinks he deserves something from you because he’s been so “nice”.
Also many men have a type, whether they even recognize this or not most of it subconscious and stems way back from childhood. We all have a love map we develop very early on and take it with us into adulthood. We choose patterns/traits almost instinctively that feel familiar to us and then call it “chemistry”.
A neuroscientist studied brains of women and men and found out that men fall in love much faster than woman do, something in their brains just connect the dots almost immediately upon meeting a woman and they decide very quickly about the long term potential of a relationship
You can be objectively beautiful and a catch, and still not be everybody’s cup of tea. You ever met someone that you just know you cannot mess with? That’s security/standards and confidence oozing off of them, you have to act like the prize cause you are!! Cheesy as that may sound, Men WANT to provide and satisfy, It is in their nature. Regarding the topic, I also notice that in case you start mothering a man, and this is not something you're usually guilty of, then it's a wrong man for you. Usually happens with psychologically immature men, when you don't trust your intuition and choose wrong, blinded by some other interesting qualities they might have. Because immature people (men and women both) can be charismatic with their very easy-going nature. You might be attracted to that, and even more so in case you're very empathetic and wish to help them somehow, "saving them" so to speak. But as it is said in the video by lovely Lisa, this is a wrong choice then.

I kind of have this situation now, my bf is younger than me and shorter than me and thinner than me and a lot of times I feel like the man , too controlling. I’m trying to stop doing that. I’m 44 and another man may not come along after him 😢

Yep. Been there done that. Killed a year 6 year relationship. I began to resent him, and his attraction faded and ultimately all intimacy was lost in the relationship. It was literally a mother-child dynamic.

It just seems to me that all you need is little bit more confidence. You don’t need to have a manual for everything in life. Just BE, as a woman you already have everything that turns him on in bed for a good sex. You just being a woman (the opposite gender) that’s comfortable in her own body is what attracts him. You don’t need to work your ass of to be what you already are and what God made you to be a WOMAN. There is nothing more feminine than just BEING and not doing or trying to hard at something that you should already have naturally.

Used to kinda think this way, however what I came to realise is, a lot of people, especially men, have not dealt with their trauma in healthy ways. As they age I've found many who simply aren't going to deal with this trauma and they are actually longing to be mothered but then can't figure out why their passion is diving so they look elsewhere, for another motherly figure. So I still agree in the sense that no, it is not our responsibility to alone heal these men, that this is up to them to manage the parts that are really solo journeys. Any way, I guess what I'm saying is, if a man is not balanced in his own energy, no matter how much you are balanced and doing the work, if he is not, you're always going to come up empty. So ultimately, it is neither your problem, nor your error. P.s. isn't cheerleading a bit on the motherly side? Is having to watch that you're not a nag to him, a bit on the motherly side? One thing I am glad for, is the information Age and people are able to become more aware and that mental health especially men's is being destigmatised.

@@pouncebounce Childhood trauma is basically a huge contributor to some men's desire to be "mothered".
Perhaps, because they lacked a mother figure in their lives, therefore they are looking for it in their own relationships.
And as the commenter stated above, because men's mental health is, unfortunately, stigmagised plenty of men are not offered the support they actually need.
my step relatives have well rounded masculine men. my grand pop is a military vetaran but he was not machiavellian. he taught my dad and my uncles compassionate discipline -- they allowed all men to make mistakes when they were young and pushing them to do their best whether they fail or succeed in the pursuit. that's why i have very healthy masculine energy while being a woman

The problem for me was literally I had the mother him!
He left the back door wide open with lawn care workers outside while I was asleep... Left the water hose going and flooded the backyard.
Had a bad truck wreck after which I had to handle everything.
I was becoming OCD!
My bf does the same thing. Its very hard and I am at my wits end.
As I grew into a mature woman I learned the difference between a project and a partner. Now I have a partner. I wish I learned this earlier in life, I had my fair share of projects.

Ugh I couldn’t imagine being so blessed that I don’t have to be the “masculine” one in my relationships.

You probably give off a lot of masculine energy and therefore attract feminine men. Masculine men aren’t into masculine women it doesn’t matter how physically attractive you are.
From what I hear, those types of men tend to go for the more quiet, polite, “sweet” girls because they want a woman they can LEAD. It’s hard to let go of the masculine traits but start bringing awareness to it and make changes when interacting with men. You got this!
Something I learned from my mother - men want to feel NEEDED and WANTED. Mothering a man not only kills your attraction to him because you see him as a son, but it kills his attraction to you because you’re making him feel useless.
Honestly, if a man can’t properly act like an adult, you shouldn’t be giving him the time of day anyway. If you wanted to be a mother, you’d have children.

Hi Lisa. So I am a determined woman. I learnt since childhood that I must be able to protect myself against anyone who is considered a threat (started at home). So, I practice martial arts, and I can say that I don't really like letting others protect me. Even though, I sometimes think of sharing my life moments with a man. Nontheless I am not going to let nobody tell me what to do or even try to be protected by them.

Well, if they wouldn’t act like children-we wouldn’t have to mother them. My ex husband could not get his dirty clothes into the hamper that was 6 inches from his pile of clothes. I would walk in with 10 grocery bags and he couldn’t stop his video game to help-he did zero cleaning or yardwork. Its tiring to be the only one doing anything to keep up the house. If I even mentioned anything he would throw his temper tantrum and ignore me for days. These types of men should NOT get married, they can have all the damn lovers they want but things are different when living with someone-
The primary things a guy wants from a lover is trust and appreciation, and mothering is the opposite of it, if you trust him, then make him feel that you really do! Ask for favors and don't give any further explanation on how to execute them, when he wants to impress you even in a simple or stupid way don't downplay it, when he accomplished something let him feel admired... If he's going to fee like your hero, he's going to treat you like his prize and a trophy, not in a material way, but in the administration and adoration sense!!!
