I was a streamer for a while and one of my newer regulars came online one night and told me about this song. He was from Germany and was dying from an illness and really wanted to share the song with me, so I played it live on stream and I was incredibly moved. I teared up to say the least........ Sadly, I haven't heard from him since that fateful night but this song really resonated with me and opened my eyes. RIP friend.

The first time I heard this song I knew two things, I needed the lyrics tattooed on me, and I needed this played at my funeral. I have the last two lines on my forearm, with a setting sun behind the lyrics.

I love seeing your reaction to this piece as it's the same as mine. In a dozen songs, there is always that one that hits you deep in a way that's hard to explain. When even the chords they play can tug at you emotions. This song is one of those for me and makes me cry. Even his lyrics and voice have the same power. Seeing you get swept up in the music recreates the first time I heard this song.
