This Revlon dryer is a game changer for me, but there is a trick to not overheat your hair: As soon as you feel like the hair is mostly dry, switch to the cool setting. This is where the sleekness and shine come from. I don't even use my flat iron anymore.
You guys I bought this last year from Ulta as a hot buy for $29.99. It really does freaking work on my thick wavy hair. This is 100% worth it!!!!

I work at Ulta and you have NO IDEA how many people come in and ask about the Revlon brush. We cannot keep them stocked! I knew that an influencer or CZcamsr SOMEWHERE had to have posted a photo or made a video and that's why people were coming in so often.

I don't have the Dyson one, but I have had the Revlon one for a year now and I absolutely love it! It gives you that salon blow out and with barely any effort, definitely recommend it!

The reason you had more curl on the Dyson side is because you were twisting the barrel and curling your hair as you pulled it through your hair on the Revlon side you pulled your hair straight. If you did the same straightening technique on both sides the Dyson would be as straight as the Revlon. I know because I use it myself. Also if you had used the brush attachment to get a smooth finish you’d have achieved a straighter look with the Dyson. I don’t think this was a fair comparison. The main thing however is the Dyson won’t burn or damage your hair and that in itself is worth the cost of the product.
The Dyson side looked better anyway and showed off her layers more.

YES! Omg I'm obsessed with the Revlon Volumizer! On days that I need to shower in the morning and get ready right away, it cuts down my time SO much. Normally I'd need to blow dry my hair (10 minutes), then straighten it (20 minutes). With the Revlon, I can just hop out of the shower and blow dry it straight (10-15 minutes)! It's amazing 😍

Hi Kathleen: I actually read the directions on my Revlon (I almost never do that!) and it says to hold it steady at your root for 2 or 3 seconds then pull it through your hair. That will help with the frizz at the root. I do it as directed and don't get the frizzy root. xo

I bought this a while back at the recommendation of an Ulta worker when my old dryer broke. It.is.life! I went on a trip recently and forgot to pack it...and I air dried my hair the whole trip rather than use the regular dryer provided. For my long bob FINE hair, it dries it in 5 minutes and looks like I just walked out if the salon with the smoothness and style it gives. lOVE! And also glad to see it works on your longer, thicker hair too.
Last christmas I got the air wrap for $350 and $125 back in points at ulta, so it was worth it to me. I have the revlon brush as well. The issue is that I’m addicted to styling my hair, when my hair is getting “burned” it smells so bad that it won’t go away unless I use hair perfume. so the air wrap is the better choice and thankfully a little bit of a better price.
I have both (got the Dyson for Christmas). The Revlon does an AMAZING job at giving a smooth look and has been my go-to for YEARS, but I think you nailed it when you said that it causes more damage. I'm 40 and my hair is getting longer, and I've been really trying to make it healthier too with the right products. I feel like the Dyson will help me reach that goal of silkier, stronger hair. Both are great!
I just recently bought the revlon and I love it. I hadn't been doing my hair very much anymore I usually would pick it up but now with this I actually enjoy doing my hair again and it makes life so much easier 😊

I’ve been posting about this since ordering it on amazon a few weeks ago and have been posting in influencer comments that I watch. I love this thing and it straightens my poofy wavy hair without leaving it flat like a flat iron. Love this thing I use it on wet or dry hair. It smoothes hair out leaving shine and some volume. Gives me Kate Middleton hair
I bought one just like the Revlon one on amazon and it was $40. I LOVED IT when I 1st started using it - there’s was NOTHING that ever made my hair look more beautiful than this! After using it pretty consistently for about 2 months I noticed it LITERALLY FRYING MY HAIR!!!! I’ve been using olaplex 3, 4, 5 & 6 along with Kerastase hair serum & AVG hair repairing mask & serum, along w a couple other products nonstop for about 2 months now to try and repair some of the horrific heat damage it did. It totally changed the texture of my hair & thinned it out just due to the intense heat & breakage. I can’t use it anymore & that totally sucks because there’s never been a hair styler that’s made my hair look more beautiful than this! 😡😢 It dried, smoothed shined and gave incredible body in one step & it’s even easier than a blow dryer alone! It took me 15 minutes to get better results than what used to take an hour (blow dry, flat iron or hot rollers). So if you’re using it occasionally I’m sure it would be fine, but because my hair looked so gorgeous, I didn’t want to style it any other way & I ruined my hair because of that.

What would U define as "occasionally"? Like a couple times a week or more/less often?
There are alot of knock offs out there. Watch Milabu's video show tested them and found that the Revlon and the Hot Tools ones were the best.

I got the Hot Shot Tools one which I bought at Sally's , its the exact same thing as the Revlon one, but Purple. It also has the boar bristles which distribute all the natural oils through all the hairs, so I noticed it really makes a difference, I also noticed the burnt hair smell actually comes from the hair that gets stuck inside the little air holes. So After each use I try to clean it as much as I can and now I don't get the smell. 🙌🏻 But it really does wonders, it just tales me 30 mins to blow dry my entire head, which used to take me 1.5 hours so that is AMAZING!!

I feel like I prefer the Dyson side better and it may not damage your hair as much as the Revlon one. But..... the price says it all. Loved this video!

I have processed hair, and the thing with my beloved Revlon is that it gets very hot and can really burn hair, while my Dyson is definitely less hot and gentler with hair.

Holy cow! I JUST BOUGHT the Revlon brush, used it once a few nights ago & FELL. IN. LOVE. with it... stunned that it didn’t tug, pull or yank my hair out. Volume, no frizzz, & works fast. Unbelievable brush, which says a lot since I took a hiatus from drying my hair fro about 2 years. If a hot air brush is your thing, buy the Revlon! You won’t regret it 🙌🏻🤯💨

I tried the revlon one and my hand burned from how hot my hair was after I finished. Although it did my hair beautifully I wasn't going to let it destroy my hair, so I returned it. Just ordered the Dyson and I can not wait to try it!

I love the finished look but I use this sparingly because I know it must be very damaging to my hair and the heat protectant can’ t possibly 100% be working .It just gets wayyyy too hot.
Same! I used the Revlon about 6 months before I got my Dyson and 1st its noisier 2nd I burn my hand the whole time 3rd I sweat like crazy with it. I am happy with the investment on the Dyson. I used the Revlon everyday so I can just imagine all the damage I did to my poor hair
the longer its on the hotter it gets, it burns my neck and my face so bad it can't be good for your hair lol the dyson is so much better and probably 10x less damaging

Oh my god yes! Just invested in dyson and I’m excited. I love the revlon one and I’ve been using it for a year now. But now It’s time for dyson! Unfortunately I had to get it shipped from the US to India ( where I live ) so I don’t even have the option to return it irrespective of whether I’d use it or not!

I just bought the L’ange blow dryer brush and love it. I did it two ways - first time, I used my Dyson hair dryer to get my hair partially dry and then finished with the brush. second time my hair partially dried on it’s own and same thing, used the Lange brush and I didn’t feel that it burned my hair. I used a ton of heat protectant but i do love it. I just watched a Brad Mondo video testing this and he shows kind of curing it and I’m going to try that next time. It works So fast though. Your hair looks Amazing and that lip. That LIP!!! Fantastic on you girl!!

Qiuck tip for anyone who decides to purchase the Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer or already owns one. I've had mine for about a year already. Anyway, when you're done blow drying all your hair with the heat setting make sure to do one last quick pass through all you hair with the cool setting. This will set your hair leaving it even more flowy, soft and shiny then when only using the heat setting. 😉😊
The Dysin is curling your hair more because of how you’re holding it vertically. Notice you hold the Revlon differently brushing underneath and drying that way instead of wrapping around the barrel.
Sure it will be straighter because the barrel is oval and has more of a flat side but you can achieve the same look with the Dyson by holding it differently and blowing out the hair without adding that one curl

I have had the Revlon styler for a while now and I would literally never go back to any other hair dryer.. it’s so good! I do recommend anyone having issues to try the “low” setting, go through your sections slow, and when going through the hair sections go in an upwards motion. My hair is so much less damaged because I don’t need to straighten much anymore (and my hair is curly and fine). Makes it much shiner and feels more thiccc. And it makes your hair not like straight straight, which every one with fine hair can appreciate 💗 GO GET CHYA ONE

I absolutely love the Revlon brush. I picked it up last holiday season during one of the sales. TOTALLY WORTH IT. It'd be nice if they came out with a smaller barrel too though. I'd totally buy it in addition to the OG.
I love the recliner brush! It’s made my life SOOOO much easier to blow my hair out & look like I just stepped out the salon with my blowouts. I style my hair EVERY time I get out of the shower. I do the top section of my hair going in the opposite way of my part to give me more volume!

I have this LOVE. Totally changed my hair game. My hair gets wavy again while I sleep. So for second day hair, I will spray it with some heat protectant and run it through my hair again super quick on low. In the past I've had to either use a flat iron or wear it up. If they made a smaller brush size, I'd buy that one too for more wavy looks.

I love my Revlon volumizer brush! It really has been a game changer for me. It's the best and most affordable Hair tool I've used. I can dry and style my hair in no time which I love! I do recommend you use a smoothing serum with it though otherwise you get a lot of flyaways. As long as you use a heat protector it doesn't damage your hair.
When you first did your hair I LOVED how the Dyson side looked but when your in the. Intro talking I can hardly tell the difference.

@@taytayqueen7024 i only used mine once a week and every time my hair turned out fine, but the longer its on the hotter it gets and it literally burns my neck and my face. i color my hair and i feel like because the revlon one is so hot it faded my color really fast. if you have damaged or colored hair i really wouldnt recommend it :/

I wanted the Dyson sooooo bad for Christmas but it was sold out everywhere (and still was the last time I checked) so I bought the Revlon and I am OBSESSED. I tell everyone about it and my sister loves it just as much. Revlon has my vote for anyone trying to decide between the two!
Love the Revlon! I usually either let my hair air dry a little or blow dry it a little before I take the styler, so I won’t have to spend so long with that intense heat and i never get to a point where I smell the hair burning. It’s great!
