Make sure you're getting out so that right guy can get to you and never be afraid to start over in love. Just make sure you're applying the lessons learned, the signs/red flags, use discernment & leaving as soon as something isn't right or someone isn't treating you right. I'm 33 & my mother is 70. She's enjoying strutting her stuff & trust me she has plenty of friends 50s-90s that's single & simply mingling.

Same here I'll be 49 this year and still single because of health and self conscious issues. I know where you're coming from and thank you for your testimony it as this video did gave me a better outlook on dating. I see that there are others no matter how pretty or physically fit a person is they are not immune to heartbreak. This young lady was in my recommended and when she started talking about dating I almost cut off the video but she is amazingly a good teacher to be so young. I've loved everyone more than myself and now I must reclaim my time whatever is left of it but enjoy. We as we have to start accepting each other more as well we keep a lot of this mess going and men see us hurting and disrespecting each other why should they do anything different. For all the couples I wish you the best and for the singles it's okay we will be fine either way but as this young lady says we must love ourselves first. You got this sis.❤

I'm 25 and I haven't been with a man for 7 years, I have prioritized myself and It was the best thing I have done. But even when I had a boyfriend, Valentines day meant nothing for me, no reason to show more love than usual for only one day when it's supposed to be showed the whole time.

Of course self-love is the best love.. But NOONE wants to be alone. It is a part if life ... Friends and family is ALWAYS a great thing, but there is NOTHING like going home to your significant other .. i think u were putting TOO much emohasis on "loving yourself"... Like u said, there is NOTHING wrong with that, but i find a lot of single ppl, that cant stay in a relationship are the ones saying that.... They be the same ones, as soon as they get into a relationship, they are "In Love", within a month ... I have seen it with ny own eyes .. not ALL single ppl, but majority if ppl, as soon as rhey get into a relationship, they are zo happy and fall soooo fast for that significant other ... Then when the relationship is over, its back to " I have to focus on myself".
" I have to love myself, before i can love myself".... It seems the ppl i have ran across, ONLY say that, once they are single, again... I dont care who someone is in a relationshio with, ALL ppl are going to experience some kind of "a*use"... Whether its verbal, emotional or physical.... Yes its sad and NO, that person isnt for u... But everyone is going to experience it at least once... U may leave ur partner alone, the 1st time it happens..... But the main ppl screaming "i have to love myself 1st", will stay and accept that abuse, because they are sooooo "in love", or because theu are hoping that person wont do it again... I NEVER trust that love urself first, because we ALL love ourself in one way or another .... Some, nit as much as others ... Im engaged and i still get feel certain ways, inside, abiut certain things.
