JB finishing w his left hand majorly improved, but his general dribbling w the left still has much work to do.
Definitely doesn't matter as much as if he keeps backing his defender down.

JBs shot selection this game is what i want JBs shot diet to be unless hes on a heater. Only 3 3s. Perfect. Hell, i'd be happy if this was JTs shot selection. JT still shoots too many 3s. I'd rather those shots go to Sam who they ignored after Sam made 2 consecutive 3s.
I'd have liked it if the Cs ran more alley-oops for Luke when mobley went out due to the injury.
This is a game where we miss KP/having another stretch big. I hope the celtics have learned their lesson and come out G4 with renewed focus and purpose.
this is why this channel is great: Matty ACTUALLY gives credit to JB without the dumb Twitter narratives about “no left.”
he has been the Celtics most efficient player ALL PLAYOFFS, which has also made him their best player.
JT has had a few dominant games, & despite still getting baited into taking ill-advised contested stepback iso threes & a few more missed bunnies at the rim than i’d like to see, but he has led the team in rebounding & assists multiple times so his contributions are still critical.
i just think JB is more efficient & when he drives he does it with strength & bad intentions. he anticipates & powers thru contact while JT is still contorting himself to avoid contact.
2 different mindsets, both are equally important, but JB just doesnt get the love or hype that JT does from Boston fans & media & it’s starting to get embarrassing for the fanbase.
JB is every bit as good as JT. he scores just as much from the field but does it more efficiently (JT shoots more free throws, which is where the point difference comes from), is arguably a better face up defender (JT better on help) & is the only Celtic starter with an edge, with that dog inside ready to fight (literally) for his team.
FANS SHOULD LOVE THEM BOTH, but it’s time to stop tiering them in a hierarchy cuz Tatum is a passive leader & Jaylen is an aggressive leader & the Celtics NEED THEM BOTH.
the Celtics fans that went from “JT = MVP” then jumped to “DW = MVP” after game 1, completely skipping over Jaylen, is embarrassing.
Boston fanbase was, at one time, universally considered one of the most knowledgeable fanbases in the game, but the repeated Jaylen slander & too cute by half insistence on turning role players into mascots (like Derrick) need to stop.
JT & JB are equals on this team. any fan, analyst or YT channel that propagates bogus JB narratives like “no left” are getting roasted from here on out.
BTW- for all the talk of “no left” & “cant dribble,” it wasnt JB who set the all-time record for most turnovers in a postseason…….. think about it.
