- In this Vlog, I will be sharing My Experience with Alsvin because I have driven this beast for around 18000 Kms in 13 months i.e. I got my hands on Alsvin Lumiere back in November 2021 and today is December '2022 and for that good reason, I will be sharing all the Problems which I faced in this whole time along with their solutions so that anyone of you, who is about to join the Changan Family or has already joined, should know about these problems along with their solutions.
Changan Pakistan entered in the Auto Sector of Paksitan back in 2020 or in the start of 2021 which means that the total life of Changan Pakistan is almost 2 to 3 years max, nothing more than that. The problems which I faced till date include Knocking Issue, Fuel Guage Issue and Tyres Issue, Head Lamp Issue and Horn Issue. I will update you about all of them along with solutions as well.

A few days ago I talked to an experienced mechanic at Honda service center and said the same that knocking could be because of two reasons, 1.. Plugs or 2..software. But changan waaly still couldn't sort it out.
I agree and fully endorse the issues you have pointed out.
Knocking is not considered as an issue now 😂

I have an Alsvin since last year and the "knocking" issues feels more like an RPM adjustment issue on going from N to D or R, switching between these gears when the car is not moving, over all they just need to tune out the ECU and ensure there is sufficient RPM to engage the gear.
If you simply press the Accelerator pedal when you switch the gear from N to D or calmly let go of your break the knocking will never happen.
Knocking will happen but according to the dealership, this knocking is not an issue at all.

Siwaye Knock kay or koi tension leney wala issue nahi hay. Bhai ap apna concept change karlo long term par gari ko knock kay sath chalana apkay car kay pistons ki life farigh ho sakti hy.
Mubashir Bhae, it's not my concept, it's what company says. According to them, this is not an issue.

AOA sir, my alsvin has completed more than 2500km and I had no issue of knocking.Only issue I find UpTo know is if you press your accelerator paddle faster in D gear there is delay in acceleration and your car do not respond fast.If you came to S gear than it is still there but your pick is fast.
Knocking usually will appear after 5k or max 8k
Knocking is sort of a common problem in Alsvin.

Kamran Bhae, just go for Euro 5, hi octane is not recommended for Alsvin.

Sir I want to know your opinion on your experience.Alsvin engine looks good and performance is good too.As whole car is china made and spark plugs are also china made.If we replace them with Japan made spark plugs would be better or it can create problem to he engine.Even with these China spark plugs performance is ok
Another issue is the life of battery, it will suddenly dead within 1.6 years below 20000 mileage

Sir ji plz also tell abt its regular maintenance parts availability? Are parts easily available in the open market and local spare part shops or only available at changan stores? Cost of oil change from changan service center?
Tahir Bhae, maintenance includes, Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, AC Filter etc etc and these all are available with the dealership but talking about Local Market, that I don't know.

bhai ap konsi duniya main rehte ho it's not 1980's car. Software glitch can be a big thing, ye computerized chip based gariyan hain.
What is exactly knocking means? And how it feels in practical life?
Average in city and motorway?
I'm getting 10-11 with AC in city (mostly idling and AC is on while in parking aswell). On motorway i.e. Lahore to Rawalpindi, I got 22.5 with AC and cruise @ 90 Kms/h
In city driving 10-11 is not a good average as well but you are using a.c on idle position but if you are not using a.c on idle position then you will get 13-14 or less than that plz explain this but on motorway 22.5 is good average on 90/km/l using cruise
@@rebel3558 AC being used on idle i.e. you have parked your car and still it's being used, the average will fall ofcourse because the petrol is being used BUT, if you have parked your car and the engine is off, you will get better average.

There is a warranty period of 3 years regarding suspension. I would advise you not to change the tyre size till 3 years. Uskay baad krwana chahain to krwa lain.

Just a few days back I purchased the Alsvin 1.5 Top of the line version. It was only 7000 km driven. It's in excellent condition. Alhamdullilah I do not have any issues like knocking or late response from the engine etc. Previously I was driving 1.6 Altis X model 2021. In overall performance I don't think that Alsvin is second to Altis. The only issue I m facing is the headlamps. As you mentioned, you were able to import from America but everyone doesn't have the facility to import. For that matter what should we do. You seem to have extremely good knowledge about cars , could you kindly suggest and help me with the alternative available within Pakistan. Would be highly obliged .

Waqas bhaee . I have just talked to Mr. Hashim. He has the product. I just wanted to ask you that hopefully you are satisfied with the performance of the headlamps. What about it's beam and coverage. But the price which he is asking for is very high
