Thanks! They’ve started in service now but not had a chance to ride one yet. I’ll miss the 455s when they go though but I’m excited also for the 701s

Thanks - they do look good and they love has some good feedback on their first few weeks too from passengers - my worry however is that a 10 car 701 has fewer seats than a 8 car 455 set - so they’re really building these with the idea of cramming in as many people as possible.

@@AnthonyFurnival Wow yeah I didn’t realise that they only had that many seats, good trains overall to be honest despite they’re many issues along the journey to service

@@AcrossTheNetwork.Studios yeah I think they will be good but increasing them replacing the 455s! In the sense that I love the 455s though I’m still excited for the 701s

@@AnthonyFurnival Yeah I guess it’s just one of those things these days as the railways are at that point where lots of the trains are coming to the end of there time. The 455s have served the network well and I’m sure if the 701s can turn around their reputation will as well

Just to Windsor & Eton Riverside a couple of times a day presently. This video was taken on a test run. Eventually they’ll serve the metro lines currently served by the 455s and 458s.
