Good choice to do longer videos like this imo. Too many people just make 10mins video of one run. I'd rather have a few runs / a story like this where you see some progression

Cool idea, would love to see more. Watching someone starting with no gear and grinding it out is way more entertaining for me than seeing stacked characters smashing the lobby.
I really like the longer form content, and the idea of using everything you have each run to survive! I really enjoy watching your fighter runs aswell, especially as permadeath. GL in the dungeons

Yea, right now it's a coin flip of you'll get a full purple guy on not.. maybe even greater than 50/50. I'll definitely try some with the new wipe

I love using the spear. Ranger spear is pretty fun. I know a lot of people hate Rangers but hey it's fun sometimes and when you are solo you need the damage
Pretty cool idea with permadeath. Makes you care more about everything that happens. Please keep going with it
I like this video format a lot. The mini adventure aspect is great, giving a feel of a campfire story. i like that you put bit of RP on it, and tie that into the in game decisions, but dont overboard with unrelated backstory. I wish you would stick to a consist perspective though, switching between first, second, and third person, as well as switching from past and present tense makes for an undertone of dissonance.
yea, its difficulty to balance as there are many moments when I need to explain decisions in the game outside of this RP adventure. Like this guy wouldn't know what weapon dmg is... or other in game things even mean. So its a thing im sort of learning. I want it to be a fun adventure, but also want to be able to break the third wall here and there to explain game mechanics or moments for people learning DaD
Honest to god Wilson I prefer the pre-recorded content. Everyone is doing live. Pre-recorded is simply superior for a cleaner video with higher quality commentary.
Live is cool for the high and low times and your reaction. But we play the game to feel these high highs and low lows, we don’t really need a video for that.

Something ive found helpful with that spawn is to draw the goblin in, take him out from behind the wall, and just try to dodge the mages throw.
you can block the Bolasllingers attacks
yea, its simple in practice, but the odd time they throw some wrinkle at you
Been watching since EA beta (3 or 4?) and just realized I hadn’t subscribed yet. Shoutout to the algorithm. More long vids like this! Folks always make the 10 min version of 1 or two runs and it feels copy paste. This has me engaged on the video way better!

For the first game spawn, if you immediately run left to the door and open it the gobs won’t aggro you

Sick kill on that geared ranger! I always get downvoted like crazy on Reddit or yelled at on the Discord when I say purple gear doesnt make you invincible lol but its the truth.
on the ranger class for sure... they are still puff pastries compared to a steel ball the fighter can become

You are sleeping on the spear!! In my experience as long as you hit your first swing and don't miss it, people will be scared and respect it's range wich is exactly whay you want them to do as getting up in your face is the real weakness of spears.
If you miss with the halberd just right click and throw your mouse to the right

eh, solo crypts is survivable for sure... i think i had that fight if i played it slower or didnt take skele dmg. then I was in final circle pre much.

around 4:46 when you are talking about death beetle stings - i find its easy to dodge *unless* im swinging at it when it attacks. It always hits the arm
Yes, that's likely what happens. Greed overcomes me and I want it to die before it stings
I think resetting after throwing that lantern would've been best, bit too gigachad charging the fighter and almost murdering him lol

hey bro, you probably already know this but when you sell the collector items in shop it looks like you are triple clicking. If you hold alt and then left click it will automatically transfer over. If i am mistaken and you aren't triple clicking then just ignore this lol .
You used to be able to set the pavise down and block doorways. not sure if you still can.

Howling crypts is lethal for solos I find. Three mans will very aggressively run you down.
yea, I just like the map a lot.
If you close a chest you have to fully open it again. Closing chests in a dark room is a good way to slow folks down behind you.

@@DivineBanana ok thanks, i'm always nervous the quality is bad. I know some people upscale then youtube uses a better encoder if you are at 4k or what not. Anything at 1080p uses a lesser quality encoder.. im not certain but someday I may try and boost it up.

P.S. loved watching you (and those goblins) smoke that geared ranger, that was so satisfying to watch. And super gigachad of you to end it in the crypts, you went down swinging. I like your videos I've seen so far, but I just cannot fathom why you were so were/are so aggressive to others at times, like your interesting around 18 minutes in to kill that warlock was something that to me seems like insanity. I'd have just left him way longer ago. :D

Highroller is free now and this is still a huge problem...
Is it possible to get getting some timestamps? So people like myself that are more interested in the gameplay can skip the inventory/merchant parts (I know some may like this part but most of the time I try and skip and timestamps help with that).

When you said no ones running high roller anymore, I was just wondering what you meant by that, since currently I don't run it much myself either. Is it just because they raised the price of it since the days of the play tests?
No one is enjoying HR.. bards in every group running din of darkness aoe killing players without them even realizing they are taking dmg. Basically it's solo rogues stream sniping streamers or it's bard groups that are just super broken atm.

I've been trying to start recording, but I've only tried medal. I get terrible stutter when using medal. What software, or hardware do you use for recording and editing, if you don't mind me asking?
obs - (mkv) - remux to mp4 - then davinci resolve handles them better... plus you need a solid cpu
the only enemies I truly hate in this game are the death beetles and mosquitoes. I bet I have taken more hits from them than the rest of the pve combined.
mosquitos are annoying as heck, red ones that take extra hits are horrible.
You said spears are very expensive but I always see them being sold extremely cheap. +3 agility spear sold for 50g and I bought that shit fr. Spears for me are actually one of the cheapest weapons I buy
They are much cheaper now for sure.. lot less fighters using them and rangers not as popular in teams atm.

I can guarantee you I don't use esp... but I was shocked by this too. So random. I was just waiting patiently messing around and of course rogue appears. You can see my cross hair isn't on him when he jumps out . I had no dam clue

Why don't you use just hatchets as a secondary for dual wield? Woodsman sell cheap ones for 6 gold and it what i found to be cheapest for dual wield even though you aren't doing it this run.
