bts is the biggest group in the world for a reason
The guy that sang the hook is Jungkook, he's the center and main vocalist of BTS. You hear throughout the song, he's second lead on the chorus and is a majority of the adlibs and harmonies in the backing vocals.
"on their way to seeing great success"...lol...they just happen to be the G.O.A.T of K-pop
Btw, I just wanted to let you know, no hard feelings dont worry 😅 that BTS is not just a popular group, they are THE BIGGEST group in the world, the 5th most streamed artist (only behind Bad Bunny, Taylor, Drake and The Weeknd) on Spotify in 2022, they topped the IFPI's Global Artist Chart two years in a row in 2020 and 2021 (the only artist in history to do that). "Map of the Soul 7" sold 4 mln copies in the first week. They won The Artist of the Year at AMAs 2022, a lot of other american awards including few at BBMAs, in general they are the 4th most awarded artists of all time, 5 time Grammy nominees, the fastest act to accumulate 6 no 1's on Billboard Hot 100 since The Beatles.... i could list like that for hours 😅

I work in healthcare, and this song means a lot to me, because it was my "wartime song" when Singapore was in lockdown, and I was stationed in a makeshift clinic located in a recreation centre hall, wearing PPE for hours at a time in tropical weather with no air-conditioning, assisting in doing Covid-19 PCR tests for about 200 people a day for about 2 months or so. I used to listen to this song on the way to work every day that I was on duty, and it kept my spirits up and put me in the right state of mind to face what I needed to face. BTS says that "BE" was their pandemic album, but for me the REAL pandemic album was "Map Of The Soul: 7", because I listened to it constantly during that lockdown, and it kept me strong, it kept me going. Especially "ON"... yes, bring the pain on!
'ON ' has two musical vedio. ..one a official MV , which runs with a cenimatic storyline .. and other is the kinetic menifesto film which is choreography based ..and they made it look like a one take MV ..they always try doing unique things ..

BTS shot this video at the Sepulveda Dam, in the valley, in Los Angeles, CA. During BTS' concert last year, I made a pilgrimage to the dam and there were a bunch of other ARMIES were there. It was really fun watching other's doing the dance moves and taking pictures. My suggestions for other BTS flavors of videos are: The Vocal line's live performances of House of Cards & Truth Untold, then for the opposite flavor, the Rap Line live in concert in Busan; UGH & Cypher3. Both of those give whole different energy. If you have any questions, please ask.

One thing to consider, all the choreo in MVs is the same choreography designed to he performed live on stage, while also singing live. There is an incredible performance of this full song/choreo performed at Grand Central Terminal on Jimmy Fallon’s show.
They're not just a popular group and doing well they're a talented group you need to watch the Taylor guide for BTS so that you can understand what they're doing and saying 💜
Actually the better video is Introduction to BTS by Xceleste followed by the Hardships of BTS by Xceleste. Taylor's video contains a lot of the HYBE narrative and isn't as factual as straight up as Xceleste.
Please don’t push the Taylor guide so early… they need to get to know the music first. It’s not good for them to do that so early.

I like the “room live” festa 2021 suggestion… the tiny desk concert from npr is another small venue live that is v v popular… I personally love the proof live video from 2022…

SOME IMPORTANT CONTEXT: they released that first song and recorded the concert in the mids of the pandemic, when they couldn't go to their already prepared world tour, that is why they say all those sentimental things. 😅 The staff recreated the NPR set in Seoul for them as they couldn't travel. Also I saw some people wondering why they are not singing some parts of the songs, that's because those are parts usually sang by Army's at the concerts 💜

BTS is known for their live performances rather than the MVs .. there are certainly other groups with good MVs but i can guarantee that theres no other artists better at live performances than BTS . They actual prefer singing live than just lipsinking they do use backing vocals cause its necessary while going on hard dance moves but they sing live and we can hear it .😌💜 Thats why i respect them the most .
You gotta do some of their older songs too. My I suggest these in order...

For you to get to know BTS and each of its members, it will take a while. To start there are several lines in the group: the rap line SUGA, RM, and JHOPE, the vocal line the main vocalist JUNGKOOK, JIMIN, V and JIN, the dance line the head JHOPE who dances hip hop, JIMIN who dances contemporary , V and JUNGKOOK, all compose songs, several produce, the leader of the Rap line and the most influential person in the group's discography and who has led them to the Grammys, the musical genius and producer SUGA.
At minute 2:39 JIMIN appears in white first with a loud voice and in second place V the one with the lowest voice, in third place at minute 2:59 RM the leader appears, he is part of the rap team, minute 3:15 JIMIN appears again and JUNGKOOK the smallest of the group accompanies him, joining the trio JIN the mayor and the one with the highest treble.

Understand what the songs and you look videos are about there are videos called shooting sketches which show the filming of the music videos. This video was filmed in Los Angeles CA the song was also recorded in Los Angeles CA the first person you saw at the beginning of the video the young woman in the center she's the choreographer for the dancing and she is from the Los Angeles CA area. UCLA marching band in the recording and in this video a drumline from the Los Angeles area in this video all the dancers or from the Los Angeles area.
