I don't know why people keep bashing Bridgestone. The test was paid for by them but the results are what they are. Tests were done by TÜV. You can check out other tests with far more competitors where the Blizzak LM005 performs just as well as in this video. The only thing you should be bashing Bridgestone for is the lousy lifespan. They wear pretty quickly.

There you have given him male! All the comparisons are with new tires and only michelin has requested a comparison with the worn tire, so it says that it is number 1 with the worn tire. I got Blizzaks because here in germany we mostly have rainy winter weather, not so much snow here in my region. If I would have snow conditions, I woud go for continental. Micheline Alpine is the best choice if you go far distances in winter conditions. So each tire have their advantages. But I very like Blizzaks.

  • @eduardoalvarezferreiro547

Hi from Spain. I'm tired of seeing comparatives in which a tire always wins depending on who asks for the comparison. The issue is that all comparisons are made with new tires, but Michelin is the only winter tire that promises me to grip until the last kilometer even with the worn tire, in fact, the Alpin 6 does not have wear indicators. This Bridgestone blizzak lm005 may be better, as the comparison indicates, but what is the use if the second or third winter is not going to give me the same benefits as being new? I come from using Vredestein wintrac xtreme S, a fabulous tire, but by the third winter they were not the same as new. That is why I will choose this year Michelin, because although they do not exceed these new bridgestone, surely the third winter, if the benefits have not been matched, the Michelin will overcome him as soon as the wear begins to make an appearance. Only Michelin has requested a comparison of winter tires with worn tires. They are the most expensive, but it is the best investment! Regards!!

It is sponsored by bridgestone. But their Tyres are good. Normally they don't build the best tyres, but the longest lasting and an allrounder. My bridgestone lm32 have done a good job for 50km now they have 3,5mm profile left->time for new ones. Only in the last winter with 5mm profile they were noticeable worse than the same car with new dunlop ws5. I had michelin, they are good when new, but after 20tkm they are not driveable.

just mounted the Michelin Alpin 6 on both cars in my household, didnt even have the blizzaks on radar. My fault. Changed back from Continental because the Conti TS860 only lasted me 1 winter....and lost a lot of the grip they had when they were new. I hope the Alpin 6 last longer and dont lose as much performance wise over their lifetime.
