- This week we are joined by Aaron Dunne. Aarons story was honestly so incredible to listen to. From dealing with alcoholism from a very early age to then developing a drug addiction and even after a suicide attempt he continued to battle to create the life he wanted. He is now 20 years sober and and happily married with children and has some great advice for younger people who might feel in similar situations.

Nice decent guy Aaron, from a great family, didn't realise he had these struggles but delighted to hear all is going well for him now, a decent hard working man, fair play for sharing something so personal, I've no doubt it'll help at least 1 person in a similar place that Aaron was in at that stage in life. If it helps 1 person then it was worth sharing this story, his mam would be proud 👏 😊

Went to school with Aaron in mountmellick community school. Sound lad. Can’t say a bad thing about him but I know what he means about school teachers and being sneered by teachers. Sorry to hear the things you went through outside of school bud
This is truly an amazing story, so much to be taken from it with regards to how education is delivered and how one size does not fit all in particular boys .
