I enjoyed watching this market trip! Haven’t been to Guyana since 1990! Lots of fresh fish, meat, vegetables-not like what we get here in Canada! That snack place looks very busy-good business! Heard about this place from ARD’s vlog too! My favourite treats! 👍🏼

In the olden days they used to have a huge high shed with vendors and their stalls ,while some used to be in opened spaces like what we are seeing in your video. Thanks for show casing Region 3 and Essequibo. Much appreciated Toocool. Family. I think the market place there needs refurbishing with more comforts and security when rain falls as well as better roads. I wish President Ali and Minister Juan Edghill can consider renovations there . It would be nice.
Thanks for filming your morning shopping trip. Some observations: The habit of paying/pricing by the nearest hundreds of dollars in your currency is self inflating and it's worse when it's per pound. It seems like it would harm the poorer people more than the middle class or wealthy. I have been converting prices to what I use and Guyana prices range from the reasonably average for those bananas to insanely overpriced for some of the local fish and the bagged items. The variety of fresh produce is amazing though.
