Look up the game Blud as well, that game's even more amazingly animated. Same with the metroidvania Cookie Cutter. Have a lot of love for both and I wonder if Ryan would like those as well.
Blud's got a horror angle, so that should by all accounts make it even more interesting for him.

The dialect is essentially a representation of how people from Yorkshire/ the Midlands of England talk.
'Owt' means "Anything," 'Nowt' means "Nothing," 'It mud ha bin war' translates to "It might have been worse," 'Wheer does-ta come fra?' translates to "Where do you come from?" and 'A' tha from Tarn?' that you were asked in the beginning means "Are you from Barnsley [the real-world location that Barns _worth_ is based off of]?"
If you had chosen 'Dead reyt' or "Dead right!" you would have had the option to have your subtitles read out _in_ Yorkshire Dialect. But you chose the other option, i.e., common English, Southerner/ London English, and in some instances, American English.
Although when not writing these comments, I naturally speak in a Yat Dialect (or 'New Orleans' English) which sounds less like the stereotypical Francophile accent you'd assume for someone from Louisiana, and sounds something more like what you'd hear in the Bronx, New Jersey, or Pittsburgh (as a result of some of my ancestors being Italian and Irish, in addition to Cajun and French; incidently, I was never born in New Orleans or in St. Bernard Parish, but rather Fordoche, which is west of Baton Rouge).

This game is honestly a riot! 😂 The way the humor just hits is so on point. I mean, who knew kicking bins could be so funny? 😂 Plus, the art style takes me back to my favorite childhood cartoons. Can we talk about how British humor makes everything 10x better? Love it! 🎉
If you're up for other games with a cartoonish 2D art style and genuinely amazing animation, have a look into Cookie Cutter and Blud.

This game is sooo funny! My favorite part was the cow scene.
We never got to see the mowing the flower scene, the fish scene where one of the fishes is actually the guys (unspeakable) sticking out, and the statue is actually just someone painted posing as the town's statue

I said this in a few other comments/replies, but i'd love to see him play something like No Straight Roads (action game where the bosses attack in accordance with the different rhythms and instruments of their theme), Blud (amazingly animated 2D game looking like a cartoon), and perhaps even Cookie Cutter (likewise fantastically 2D hand animated metroidvania-- quite out there) and Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (very gnarly and colorful 3D monster world martial arts beat-em-up).

Right on! I have fond memories of the We Happy Few, Subnautica and Days Gone series for example. I'd be up for more non-horror games.
Would especially love to see No Straight Roads, that's short enough to be a little series. And if i can be cheeky, perhaps a Longer Less Edited Episode on Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Cookie Cutter and Zet Zillions. Mayhaps even a series on one of them. (Clash: AoC is a personal favourite: Very bizarre, colorful and fantastic world and atmosphere with a good story and solid gameplay)
Something upcoming like Loco Motive or Promise Mascot Agency is looking to be fun too.
