This is of course meant to be humorous......but, seriously if you don't like these things I don't know what to tell you. :) This is the way we live.
I chose to purchase my first home in Baldwin county in 1982. I was ridiculed by co-workers who said I moved to the country. I still own my home here and occasionally think about my ex-coworkers who want to move here from Mobile but can't afford to.
I moved here from Wisconsin and when we first got here we didn't know why people were waving at us constantly 🤣

I want to move there to get away from SNOW here in Wisconsin. Long as it stays under 1 inch I can do it. I am ready to come there just need to sell my home and find one there. I loved the rain there as I grew up doing summer vacations in Tuskegee my father's home town. The ppl there are very friendly, which I love. Keep the videos coming as I am enjoying them.

@@denisek292 With your attitude, I highly doubt it was the neighbor's that were the problem, and last I checked, it's a free country to move wherever you want, so take your horse $hit attitude and move somewhere where someone will appreciate it. You don't own this country. You don't even own the land you think you own. Where did your ancestors come from?? I'm sure the native American's that REALLY own the land wanted to scalp all of the invaders from another land, including your family, and including mine. Learn your history and where you really came from and then get back to me.

Which towns are the nicer ones and is hurricaine insurance and/or flood insurance expensive?
Since the answers to your questions (which towns are the nicer ones, and is hurricane and/or flood insurance expensive) are subjective to an individual with what they find nice in qualities or expensive in cost, I can't really answer your questions fairly. My answers would just be my opinions based on my preferences.
I would recommend you look up online any statistics to items you find important when deciding what makes a town nice; i.e. schools ratings, population, growth, crime rates, etc.

I lived in Bay Minette from 1976 til 1982. I still miss it. I lost the home in a divorce. Went back to visit a couple times from Indiana. Not my favorite place but last year my ex passed away so I have been considering going back. I've never met people anywhere else like those in Baldwin County. Yes, expect to say hi with a smile on the streets and sidewalk,, and be helped all over the place in any store or place of business.
Yes, you can certainly expect people to be friendly with a smile and a hello here in Baldwin County, AL. The friendliness of people here is a big part of what I love about being a Realtor. And I love showing that southern charm to people relocating here from other states.

Ordinances may vary per city and HOA Convenience, but to use Daphne as an example:

SECTION VII.
NOISY ANIMALS
A. RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD PROHIBITION AGAINST KEEPING OF
NOISY ANIMALS
It shall be unlawful and a nuisance for any person to keep on a residential lot or premises any animal or group of animals known to said person to habitually, continuously or intermittently to make or emit sounds or noises of such volume and nature as unreasonably to interfere with or disturb the peace, quiet, comfort and
repose of persons of ordinary sensibilities within the neighborhood in the reasonable use and enjoyment of adjacent property.
O. OTHER AREAS PROHIBITION AGAINST KEEPING OF NOISY ANIMALS
It shall be unlawful and a nuisance for any person to keep, on any tract, lot or premises within the City, any animal or group of animals under such circumstances that the sounds or noises emitted by said animals are of such volume and nature as
unreasonably to interfere with or disturb the peace, quiet, comfort and repose of persons of`ordinary sensibilities in the reasonable use and enjoyment of any adjacent
property used for residential purposes
ABATEMENT OF NOISE; ENFORCEMENT
1. Any owner or person-in-charge violating this ection shall be guilty of
maintaining a nuisance. However, that no prosecution shall be commenced and no arrest made pursuant to this section, except upon affidavit made before, and warrant issued by a Magistrate.
Any Police Officer or Animal Control Officer may take steps immediately to cure the situation to cause the noise to be abated, either through issuance of a citation, or impounding the animal if the owner, agent or person-in-charge cannot be found at the time of the disturbance.
The worst thing about it is the water in the bay isn’t clean enough to swim in. Sorry to be the one to point that out.
100% True! I've said it before in videos, the 'beach' in Fairhope is not one I would ever swim at!

I've noticed that most of the ladies in Baldwin County have really great hair. I'll work there a few days a month and the hair standards are way above Pensacola.
Do you see many water rats and alligators in the rivers and non-salt bodies of water?
I’ve never heard of a ‘water rat’ but we have nutria. I’ve never seen one personally though. I do see alligators pretty often, yes. I respect them by leaving them alone and I’ve never had an issue with one.
I've lived on Fish River in Baldwin Co my whole 22 years of life and I have never seen one in the river. Small stagnant areas could house them but they really leave people alone
