atlus is releasing an expansion pass for this game and not one of those dlc's have original ost... this company frustrates me...
Metaphor: ReFantazio has more Persona representation than this game.
its because they didnt spend all that time and money to make a new (but much worse) soundtrack just to give players the option to turn it off, unfortunate but i expect less and less from atlus everyday after how they handled P3 rerelease on pc

So true, brother, I just can't get over absence of Yumi and Meguro not supervising new mixes. Dude, who composed for Strikers, is totally fine, same goes for Azumi, but Meguro knew his thing
Now we just need a mod that uses the p3d full versions and we're set
I updated mod with newly set BGME framework. Now replacing can be done a lot easier. Just replace any .hca files inside mod's folder with your own via Phos Music Manager :)

@@Saedachi So we can add our own custom music by converting them to .hca? That's pretty cool. I wonder if your mod works alongside the "randomized battle themes" mod, it would be nice if there was a randomizer that mixed up the "school" music alongside the battle themes
Thank you so much!! As much as I love Azumi's voice, the general mixing and composition of the redone tracks is out of wack in a lot of places, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel a little inappropriate without Yumi. Thank you for doing it so I didn't have to!!!

So far loving this mod! But i've noticed that Joy has a weird start, almost like it skips. But still thank you for this!
Might be a converter problem, I've redone it manually and already reuploaded new archive, should be fine now

for some reason, everytime i enter a battle in tartarus, mass destruction or its going down now doesn't start playing, the tartarus block theme just amplifies/plays as the battle theme
Definitely BGME framework's issue, I guess it should be fixed already (?) on 1.0.2. Make sure you've updated it

Was there a mod for the dorm lighting? It looks so much better and less bright
You don't need a mod for that. Just go into the menu and lower the brightness setting. Personally, I strongly recommend lowering it down by four or five notches from the default state. Trust me, it makes EVERYTHING looks better and not just the dorm.
Yo I don’t know where to put the extracted download files? Do I just drop it straight into the reloaded mod folder or am I missing something?

upd: Uploaded new version with BGME framework support.
Now you can easily edit and replace songs by yourself with your own .hca or with Phos Music Manager (don't forget to include encoder)!

You're doing God's work. I have nothing against new tracks but it sounds just like professional covers without any distinc style or originality.

Thank you, it is sad that modding pages are not accepting this mod, a couple of cuestions:
1. will you update this mod when the game is finished? it is already confirmed that later this year we will get "The Answer" as dlc?
2. the description is a little unclear, but if we want the full FES experience we should use the "all songs replaced" right? does that change everything but keep the new tracks like "color your night"?
Not sure about updating it, and also I'm not sure we gonna get THAT versions of tracks in "Answer DLC". We still might be disappointed. I guess we'll see, I just wanna play the game as it was indended originally
Well, considering FES experience, it's not completely true since there's no Brand New Days in main menu or Darkness haha. I tried replacing menu's ambient with song, but it became a mess since it requires editing a system config file, which is x1000 bytes bigger, and it froze my software, when I tried it replacing it.
But all the rest are replaced by OG except for Club Escapade. Color Your Night had no alternative song in OG, so, it was left like it, same goes for others
why isn't it accepted in mod pages?
@@sampletext9426 Thing is GB is banning any music mods now that can be released as DLC coz they had claim in the past from Warner Bros or smth. And dataminers found some leftover null strings in code for more DLCs including "Episode Aigis" than it has now, and, well, it wasn't confirmed or else, people don't even know what DLC will bring or will it be release at all, will there be old FES music or changing BGM in Tartarus as FES allowed - not in the slighest.

Thank you so much! So many of the new versions of the songs in P3R just feel kinda flat in terms of the mix, and don't hit as hard as the originals as a result. It's a shame really, as otherwise the game plays a lot better than the original IMO.

If it's showing for you in Reloaded, then it's already fine. Just enable it and UnrealEssentials as well, and it should be enough
Did you also mod the lighting? It seems darker and more detailed than I remember playing
I messed with some Engine.ini configs, guides of which probably now you can find anywhere, and set brightness 2-3 settings lower. Still ain't the best, but it's way better than it was before
How do I go about actually installing the mod? I have BGME Framework installed and Reloaded II, I just don't know what to do with the BGME folder itself
Don't forget to fix that lifeless club.
Dunno if I can go way further from replacing tracks to animating models, but that cheap-ass club really sucks
Does this MOD leave the new themes untouched?
I'm now convinced that Atlus didn't need to reload the song. They made the wrong decision to remove the original song.
I can download the link perfectly fine but when I extract it, I just get a folder called "BGME". Is it because the file is not a .rar? Or is there something that I'm doing wrong? I have been able to extract other files perfectly fine and get a folder, but this folder, when placed in the mods folder, doesn't show up in Reloaded II.
Edit: I converted it to a .rar file and all has been solved

Sure, it will work just fine with your current progress. Supported framework allows us to replace tracks instantly, while they're loading, and saves are not binded to game's files or anything
Youve made a really nice mod here. Wanted to ask why it got taken down from nexus though, surely no part of their TOS disallows music replacers?

No one actually took it down, it was Nexusmods' fault to ban acc itself, apparently they didn't like me using VPNs (lol?). Still Nexusmods > Gamebanana
is there anyway i can tweak the mod (for personal use ofc) so that it only replaces mass destruction with the fes one i like the other songs
Sure, mod now is moved onto BGME framework, which allows you to change any .hca track in folder with your own. I recommend using Phos Music Manager for it. Mod also uploaded on Nexusmods, where .hca for Mass Destruction FES already converted, so you just need to replace it.
Are the P3R original soundtracks untouched? Or have they also been swapped out
Even with UnrealEssentials the mod doesn’t seem to do anything with Reloaded II. Game launches fine and I’ve followed all of the step’s multiple times now. Does anyone have any advice?
You should extract zip and leave it right at "\Reloaded II\Reloaded-II\Mods\" folder. Then enable mod itself in Reloaded and launch it under P3RE icon through "Launch Application". Make sure having both mod and UnrealEssentials turned on

The mod is great, thank you but it seems to me like the replaced music and non replaced music is kinda quiet :(
It should be fixed now by BGME framework v1.0.2. But if it's still quiet for you or you don't like volume overall, create "config.yaml" in *mod name*/BGME/P3R/ and put "volume: 0.X" your desired number here. I recommend setting 0.2 for max volume in-game since BGME v1.0.2 increases volume of all tracks at the same time

More guides you can find on Gamebanana, but in short you need Reloaded II as mod loader and UnrealEssentials as vital mod to launch the others

So, what if you only wanted to replace one song and keep the rest of the new music instead if replacing a few or all of them?
Mod is replacing all tracks, but it can be customized to your own liking by deleting tracks you don't need in mod's folder or adding yours - it works both way

How would I go about changing one of the songs in the mod back to the reload version? I kind of like the new During the Exams mix so I would like to keep it to the new one.
Ugh, we-e-ell, this is gonna take a while since you need to unpack and repack .awb archives by yourself. You can do it via fmodel (to get Reload ver. of Exams track) and ACBEditor to unpack AWBs. In fmodel you should look for "bgm.uasset" and "bgm.awb", extract, find some Hex editor like HxD, open uasset, find first "@utf"and copy everything below it and paste into separate file by name "bgm.acb". Drag AWB onto ACBEditor, here we go - half work is done. "During the Exams" goes under 0014, so, now you need to unpack mod's awb and replace it with yours. Drag back onto ACBEditor - done.

Everything sounds fantastic! However, when I tested the mod, Tartarus block 3 was playing the track from Tartarus block 6, and Tartarus block 5 was playing the track from 2 or 3. Lastly, Iwaotdai Dorm has worse sound quality than the other tracks. Any chance for another update?
So I checked and Block 3 has music from Block 6, Block 4 has music from Block 3, Block 5 has music from Block 4 and Block 6 has music from Block 5
I managed to fix it myself +replaced dorm music with high quality one also made a version without "Color Your Night" and "It's Going Down Now". Not sure if I should share it because the creator will probably update it himself at some point

@@segue6242 There is a song list in a txt file. I just put every track in separate folders so I can rename them in the correct order and them put them back. Also for the block that takes 2 music slots just make a copy of the correct one and delete one of the incorrect ones, it just has 2 music slots in the game files for some reason but they are the same
Yo guys I decided to upload my version on nexus as "Persona 3 Reload FES Music Update" because it dosent seem like the author is interested in fixing it. Aside from the tartarus issues I fixed the audio mixing by increasing volume on every song, turned "memories of the school" into "memories of the garden" because it wasn't on the HD album and extended "Memories of you" by adding violin part in fl studio so it will fit with the timing of the credits
Where is the txt song list inside my friend? couldnt see it when extracting.
I might have included it for archive on Nexusmods, damn, but not on Mega. Anyways, I made a 1.0.1 version, which changes 19 tracks now, redownloading is recommended

@@happygofishing Maybe.. But the problem is that it wayyy too repetitive. To the point it does annoy me a little. I've do have a mod that does change that, but using this mod and the other one do overlap and it does not work together :
@@Ico_ I updated the mod and you may want to redownload it now since it has BGME framework, which allows you to change any song you don't like with your own. In your case, copy link_26.hca, change its name to link_128 and replace files within mod's folder! Going Down will be replaced with Mass Destruction

Yes, now there's only one version of mod, which changes whole soundtrack. But also you can delete/move any tracks you don't like or add your own with new BGME framework support!

Sure, it requires a little more efforts to setup Reloaded, but works. Be aware it also disables network functions, but it can be fixed

This is the perfect mod, wasn't a fan of some of the new arrangements, specially mass destruction. Sounds so weak compared to the original.
