Similar to selecting multiple images by tapping on them, if you are rearranging apps on your home screen, you can tap and hold on one app, then tap more apps to add them to your stack. You can then drag the entire stack of app icons where you want them on your home screen.
This is far from the best way to do it if you need to read it on the iPhone screen later, because everything will be too small, or you'll have to constantly move the enlarged document around the screen.
Personally, the drag and drop feature is beautiful yet ugly at the same time. It's so clunky to use, but is so powerful.
Clunky on iPhone for sure, easier on iPad
@@beardfmI HOPE Apple really nails Software Soon….. and no I don’t mean (mooreee featuressss), I Mean ACTUALLY, handling Bugs in Software and Glitches.
It seems like every single iOS drop (beta or not), have bugs everywhere.
Maybe it’s my iPhone 14 PM but like, ghost touches,
THIS is Software right here (I have this issue where every single time I grab my volume bar in the CC, and drag it down to zero, IT will show me it drags all the way but it will BOUNCE and RETRACT, to like, not ZERO, sometimes the volume stays a little or a bit more but like)
Imagine you go to control center, slide your volume down to ZERO or up to 100%, and after you initially drag it and it shows (hey yeah we’re where you want to put us{the volume}), it will retract a little bit and not actually be at the volume you put it as.
Check it out yourself, see if your volume is exact or not. I have issues running any of the recent iOS 17. whatever whatever

I'm an enthusiastic android user, but iOS just keeps impressing me for the past couple of versions, and these kinda videos shows how iOS can be so much helpful in these little tasks that most people don't even know about 😅

Didn’t see this one mentioned, apologies if I missed it - you can drag and drop addresses straight into maps. So if you get a text with an address, maybe if you’re planning a holiday in a group chat or something, just drag the details straight into maps to check out the destination.

Take a task you need done… make a full note on it. All you need for it. Then - drag to reminders.
“Oh - I have to do that video!” Tap on it, and you get your entire note!

You can copy paste multiple messages at once. Though, there’s this bug since iOS 13.4 that doesn’t let you paste them into Pages. You can paste into any other app, then copy again to get it into Pages.

OK although this is not new but the extend of the drag and drop is definitely new. At least to me.

It does! Just tried it.
My favourite gesture by far is converting websites into PDF by pressing the share icon and then clicking the print option. Didn't know this feature existed, thanks to you Stephen, I am using it now and it has improved my web browsing experience :) Love such informative and to the point content brother.
